Apparently before we moved to the high desert, Frontier Communications bought a lot of what had…read morebeen Verizon infrastructure (wiring, poles, switch networks, etc.) as well as presumptive customer base, almost nationally. I gather that for the most part Verizon just wanted to get out of that business for some reason. In theory I am fine with that concept since I fired verizon for consistent overcharging for cell service and selling me products I did not need. But I did not have internet nor TV cable service from them. I am kind of glad I did not, but I was not that impressed with Comcast Cable either, where I used to live. Once moving to the desert and after signing a contract with frontier in 92345 zip code for $55 per month (basic cable TV and internet) I discovered that Frontier never provides service for that amount. "Sur-charges" including "broadcast TV" amount to $25 and the router and DVR each cost about $17 per month. Apparently the field service people discourage using your own router/modem since it is convenient to blame that unit for anything that goes wrong. At least comcast did not expect everyone to rent their routers. In any case my current billing base rate is $126 and I do not recall having made a contract which approved that amount. Maybe it is their "new" price after the 2 year introductory rate or something. An "introductory price" is basically an excuse to bait-and-switch and appears to be a common industry tactic. Meanwhile we have supposedly 200Mbit fiber optic internet service; never mind that "fiber optic" does not determine the SPEED of the connection (rather the endpoints do) and other reviews I have seen suggest similar displeasure with "faster" gigabit-service which I assume is even more expensive and apparently does not deliver either. I did try to contact frontier about their deceptive advertising and exorbitant billing rate (and we have the cheapest cable TV service they sell), which is still priced beyond what it is worth. Obviously someone is making money. Engine net searches suggest that Frontier has actually been in chapter 11 since about 2010 and despite that continues to provide service. Obviously they do not have to do a very good job of it, since they have virtual monopolies in the areas were cities have made deals with them I guess. Our local alternative appears to be Spectrum but I do not think their reputation is any better. I would be interested in other opinions about this set of issues.

The problem with frontier they give you nothing but false hope to fixing the problem . Now it has been a week still no answer as well as service . They indicate there is an outage . Such **** a doodle crap. Frontier is merging with Verizon Frontier you just lost one loyal 92 year old lady . So mama will be a loyal customer with SPECTRUM Customer service: try switching over to Spectrum

A member of our congregation set up a greeting that said our church was closed and to just leave a message. That congregant has moved away and we've been struggling with changing the phone message since. We have now been open for approximately a year-and-a-half and we wanted to have a phone greeting that reflected that message. Our NEC system is 30-years old but it's just like its members -- oldies but goodies. Thank you, Mike, for being so patient. You have literally been a Godsend.

Several years ago I met Mike on a job and noticed his ability to run cable even to the most difficult locations. Everything was neat, clean and professional, so we exchanged business cards. Over the past several years, I have referred numerous customers to Mike and used his services personally on many occasions including my office. Not only is the work done in a timely manner, but every jack is labeled, terminated and tested. He even leaves several brand new spare patch cables! What a pleasure it is to come out to a job that has been cabled by Mike "The Phone Guy" and simply plug everything in and it works the first time. On several occasions I have referred Mike to customers with very expensive homes that required the highest professionalism for the installation and every job was done with surgical expertise, customer always pleased as punch, makes my job easier and don't let me forget to say that Mike is a licensed contractor, so you don't have to worry about some shady work that never gets completed. The only thing left I have to say is.. If you need a cabling job done right the first time, then I would absolutely without hesitation recommend you call Mike "The Phone Guy". He is an honest, hard-working professional whom I have dealt with for more than 15 years. Mike... YOU ROCK MIKE!!!

So,That was a no brainer....off to the location next to BJ's. When I walked into T-Mobile I was greeted right away. A young man by the name of Billy was nice, knowledgeable and very professional. I was in good hands and a happy camper when I left the store. Billy was able to restore my cell phone to it's normal state. This is the T-Mobile store you want to do business with. Trust me if you want good service. Thank you so much Billy, I will be back next month for my upgrade. You're the Man! Keep up the great work, you are such a an asset to T-Mobile. Chef Ann

Not a big deal--I don't usually want to be given product pitches anyhow. Unfortunately, my experience was marred the next day, when I started receiving texts about how I had apparently added Protection360 for my device. I did not do this, and I was not informed about this being added on during my time at T-Mobile. If you search online, you'll quickly find that many people have this same experience of reps subscribing you to add-ons due to commissions and pressure from management. In short: Be careful and check your add-ons in the T-Mobile app.
