The people simply are not as friendly, and to me it's a totally different place. Yesterday I asked them to cut me a steak because I wanted one that was thicker than the ones they had on display. It was only about 4:30 and they do not close until 8:00. They told me that they had already cleaned their saw so they could not cut a steak. That would've never happened under the old ownership. They went out of their way for customer service. I really hoped that it was just some growing pains, but it's been long enough and things aren't getting better. If the new owners don't get a handle on things I'm afraid they're going to lose a lot of business. They've lost mine.

Even though they were slammed with customers queued in line from the counter to the door they took the extra time to pull out a rib roast and cut me 5 steaks as they were down to two within the meat counter. They did this without any hesitation. EXCELLENT service. Even though the check out line mirrored the queue at the meat counter, the cashier never got frustrated, greeted each customer with a cheerful smile and expedited the process.
