Had surgeries in my early 20s to repair some damage, but still had chronic pain. At this point when I'd get up from my desk at work, it would take a good 5 minutes for my knee to un-stiffen so I could walk normally. I had 2 toddlers and although I took them for daily walks and to the park, my knees were in pain the entire time. My orthopedic surgeon wanted to do yet another surgery to clean up my joints and I wanted to avoid one. I decided I might as well give acupuncture a try, figuring if it didn't help at least it wasn't as extensive or expensive as a surgery. I looked on Yelp and found Viola. Not only was her demeanor calming & compassionate, but her incredible knowledge shined through. And I was so relaxed in my session, I fell asleep! While I know this may not be the case for some, it took just a few sessions for ALL the pain in my knee to end. I could not believe it! I now see her a few times a year for maintenance and other than that am pretty much pain free. She gave me my life back. With no knee pain I was able to exercise and lose 70 pounds. I could play more with my kids. And I've avoided surgery to this day; I simply don't need it. She is a miracle worker and I highly, highly recommend her.

He did the most comprehensive intake exam I have ever had with a health practitioner. He caught things no other health practitioner had before (sub-clinical low thyroid, hormone imbalances). Stephen's treatments and herbal RX have been the most effective I've ever experienced; I felt and noticed improvements quickly, if not immediately. I've seen Stephen for: fertility challenges, ovarian cysts, migraines, blood sugar stabilization, seasonal and food allergies, stress, thyroid issues, and general fatigue. I've taken my children to see him as well (for colds, coughs, ear issues, and allergies) with great results Stephen is a tall step beyond most acupuncturists and herbalists. He is a gentle but powerful needle-er. He's a knowledgable herbalist.
