The whole point of a naturopathic doctor is to identify what the root causes of your problem are and figure out a plan to fix them (change of diet, reduced inflammation, etc) so you don't spent the rest of your life in the pharmaceutical system. Every other word out of this girl's mouth were "medicine" or "prescription" or "hormones" (ie HRT). She even told me, "Well if your doctor prescribed levothyroxine, then you probably just have to keep taking it."
