I came to DigitalCrafts with no experience except for some free online resources. I admit there were times during the course that were pretty intense. This course requires that you put in the time to learn the material. You continue to build on content from day one. If you are willing to put in the time and effort you will be successful. I had Rob as an instructor and he was great! If we had trouble during the course Rob was willing to help, we just needed to keep him in the loop on our progress. When it came time to start looking for jobs Jake was a big asset in helping us look for postings and letting us know when there were oportunities within the employer network. With their help I was able to secure a front-end development internship at the end of week 12. I feel confident in my new skills and look forward to what the future holds

They teach you medical terminology in 30 minutes, telling you to study on your own the rest, and the teacher only lectures for 1 hour, out of a 5 hr day, spending the rest of the time talking about religion, making fun of students, or outside of the class on his cell phone, that is if he shows up. There were only 4 students in the medical assisting course when I came, the manager promising others were enrolling who never actually came. In my opinion this school is VERY bootleg and I advise you to stay away. Also, no matter how horrible their service is, or how much they lie to you, they will NEVER give you your money back, not even a cent.

Great institute for teaching and preparing students for the world outside of the Radiumsoft bubble. Innovative and cutting edge. But unlike those who are swift to think this is a "competitor" to the National Honor Society or a scam, I researched what it is. Turns out, folks comparing the two are ill-informed. NSHS is about a lifetime membership and being connected to scholarships. It's fashioned more like a professional organization where you can connect with others. It's not a checkmark on the college application. So it may be very valuable for some, not useful for others. Marketing? yup! Just like the college brochures and email you get- that's how they reach potential members. Some comparison data is here: https://blog.collegevine.com/nhs-vs-nshss-whats-the-difference/

It is fashioned differently with that of a networking body. They offer post high school to college resources, and college to career resources. They have networks abroad to other universities. It's primarily awarded to academic achievements and you can choose to pay join or decline. If your high school student is accepted to NHS there is no need to apply to this program. This is for other students who missed their deadlines to get into NHS or just wants the networking perks. Look at the pros and cons of both and decide before purchasing. I like the program and it acknowledges my son's stellar high school performance. Well worth the purchase. Thank you.

My niece goes to this camp all summer and never gets bored. This was her second summer and she is always making sure that I have her signed up whenever there is a school break, as TSOF also does break camps during City of Decatur school breaks, teacher workdays, etc. Knowing that each day is a well thought out combination of learning and fun is what makes this camp really work. If learning is also fun-well, there you have it-the magic combination! All of the kids are excited to be there, the staff is great and very attentive. Each time I am there I am greeted kindly, as is my niece. They are actually HAPPY to see us walk in the door! This is a novel and brilliant idea and finally, I feel my money is well-earned by Kris and her staff...not just babysitting and coloring. amy niece comes home with little electronic bugs, her mind filled with fun things she cannot wait to share with me. I also saw the group at a science fair and a festival in Decatur! Way to get out in your community, team!

At 10 am there were at least 15 people there to take their exams and no one was at this business. One guy had driven to hours given this was the closest site to him open on a Saturday. It's now 10:30 am and the business remains closed. We all call and no one answers the phone. Finally at 11 am a young woman shows up and simply says there was a scheduling problem. She does not offer an apology. By the time I get registered for my exam, it's 11:30. I ask if I get a 5 min break as told by my program. She tells me there are no breaks for my 3 hour exam. After the halfway mark, the computer tells me I can take a 5 min break if I choose to. I take the break and have to get her to log me back into the system after the break. I complete and end the exam 8 minutes early and waited for the screen to tell me if I passed. Nothing. I ask her why my pass/fail did not appear on the screen and she tells me the policy for this exam is they will email me and let me know. Rather than argue with her, I review my exam information and they state I should get my score immediately after the exam. Needless to say, I would not recommend anyone to use this testing site. They are unprofessional and uninformed. While several of us were still in testing mode, the door to the testing room was left open for More than -0 minutes leaving us to deal with the noise from the center. This business should be closed. Avoid. If I have to take my exam over, I would drive an extra 45 minutes to avoid testing at this location.

There's plenty of parking available in this lot since there's a parking deck. I got lucky and caught beautiful fall weather today, so I didn't mind the walk from the deck. The entrance to the suite is on the main level with Iron Age, and the pathway adjacent to Iron Age will lead you to ATG. The location is pretty zen and relaxing for those to need a more peaceful environment before taking a exams. Masks are required for entry! Upon entry, I was greeted by a staff member, and was promptly checked-in to take my exam. You'll need two forms of identification (I used my driver's license and debit card.) They have lockers you can lock your personal things in, and they are pretty large so could fit a handbag. I opted not to bring any personal items with me though, so I had a huge locker for my keys and 2 IDs. Remember your locker number and the staff will unlock after your exam. The facility was clean and surprisingly comfortable. I would wear something warm if you tend to get cold because they definitely had the air running. I think it depends on the exam you're taking, but I was provided a dry-erase board, marker, and calculator. Staff enters upon the end of each exam to sanitize and prepare for the next proctored exam, so there's a lot of traffic noise. I didn't notice until after I passed my exam that there was a giant jar of earplugs available at the entrance of the exam room. I thought it was a jar of candy (Halloween thoughts LOL) or else I definitely would have benefited from them lol. I also think you will instantly get the results of your exam depending on what exam you're taking, but for me I was able to know immediately. Staff will hand you your results and sign you out. The entire process was a breeze and stress free. *if you have disabilities you can apply for testing accommodations with the agency you are testing with! Majority of the time you will need to provide medical documentation and do so 2 - 3 weeks in advance.

If it were handmade, I could understand, but for a plastic one? That's a hard pass. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Everything from candles to basic stationery items you could grab at Walmart is marked up to a level that feels unnecessary. Now, to be fair, they do have some great sales -- and when I say great, I mean really great. But you shouldn't have to wait for a sale just to feel like you're not paying an arm and a leg for a craft project. On the plus side, the staff is friendly and helpful. They have the kind of customer service I appreciate -- where someone actually walks you to what you're looking for instead of just pointing in a general direction and disappearing. That said, the front desk and self-checkout area are another story. I stood at the self-checkout for a solid five minutes waiting for anyone to come by and help with a screen issue so I could remove an item. No one ever came, so I eventually gave up and checked out at another register. Overall, it's a nice store with good selection and solid staff, but I'll be honest -- next time I come, I'll be coming for the sales, not the sticker prices. It's way too easy to walk out broke after buying just a few things.

At one point the lone cashier started scolding the CUSTOMERS for not using self-checkout and told US the line was so long it didn't make sense and WE had to do something about it. Excuse me? I don't work here, find someone who DOES to do something about this long line. How about order online and have it delivered? Or better yet... just order from anywhere online.
