They change the flavors monthly and some of the ones we saw when there were (if I remember them right): caramel habanero/spicy (at first lightly sweet, then a smooth slow heat-Mmm), madagascar vanilla, raspberry ricotta (this was delicious and I typically don't get berry flavors), pumpkin (pie? Probably the best pumpkin ice cream I've ever had and I've tried a ton of places all over in different states), key lime pie, orange chiffon (tasted like orange creamsicle, so good), a blue one my daughter got with m&m's, a chocolate one that was delicious, peach and more that I unfortunately can't remember. They had 3 different waffle cone choices too: plain, chocolate and a funfetti type one. Fresh and crisp tasting. The prices were great too! We had 3 kids and 4 adults and it was about $20. We also got two flavors with the single scoop. Definitely generous scoops. Nice amount of clean seating inside. Some tables outside. A bathroom we didn't use. Very nice man working there. I'm shocked this place has no reviews on Yelp! If in town you must try this place and please leave a review! This is a black-owned Chicago-based biz, and Palazzolo's manufactures their product. There are three flavors of this southern-style frozen pudding: banana, strawberry, and pineapple. Naturally, I had to try banana. One bite in, and I was hooked. It's super creamy and flavorful. Dare I say that I enjoy Lorenzo's over Palazzolo's?! I'm giving 5 stars for Lorenzo's Frozen Pudding and 4 stars for Palazzolo's frozen confections. I'd pick the frozen pudding over gelato any day!

It was our last day and we were looking for some good breakfast, our favorite way to spend some girls time together. We went two one place before this and they couldn't accommodate our table size but they recommended a second place. We tried getting there but they said that our group was too big and someone beat us to the table they had open. Thankfully, we found The Breakfast Place that was so quick to accommodate us. We called them on the phone and they told us to come right on it and they'd get a table cleared for us soon. With great speed and pleasure, they found us a table big enough for all of us, got us seated and had the best team of servers to help us. We had a very nice young man who was assisting us and he was so friendly and patient. He also had a young lady assist him. I wish I asked their names but they were great. Both very young and exceptional. Went above and beyond. Everyone was super pleased to see the extensive menu and we all left feeling full and satisfied. Whether we had people craving savory skillets or omelettes or those craving sweet breakfast items like pancakes and French toast, we all left super happy that we were able to eat here. This is a great community staple and if we are in the area again, it'll be the first place we visit. We thank this team for welcoming us and giving us a great experience to close out our weekend in Michigan.
