The food was amazing. I don't see that they have bagels on here, but that's what we came to try and it was great. They have a huge variety of bagels and cream cheeses. We decided to try a sandwich (turkey pesto) and also a Jalapeño cheddar bagel. I will say the wait was extremely long. We had to wait for our food for about 30 minutes after ordering. Just be prepared when you order.

We love the selection of yummy flavors at The Scoop! Tonight I had red velvet cake and my husband had mocha brownie. Thank goodness we took the recommendation of the scooper! No better ice cream in town!

First time here. So good!! I got the vanilla bean ice cream and it was a great refresher for the summer heat today. Will be back multiple times this summer.

The Scoop is what's happening in Spokane!! LONG lines await this cozy frozen desert spot! They make everything from scratch and the flavors are hitting! I had a salted caramel and it was great, it had vanilla cookie pieces, loads of cinnamon, and a perfect consistency of creaminess. The service was great, especially handling a line that stays lingering near the entrance They serve vegan options as well. *Alert there was no coffee or mocha almond fudge* the closest was the salted caramel, hence the 4 stars. The flavors are imagined and created daily. frozen Yogurt*gelato*cookies*brownies

Ice cream was delicious, be prepared to wait in line but the line does move pretty quick.

So many rotating flavors that I can't remember what these were. What I do remember is that they were both delicious.

The Scoop is absolutely one of the best ice cream parlors I've ever visited. For comparison, it is easily on par with creameries such as Salt & Straw, Jeni's, and McConnell's. What makes them so special is that they get the fundamentals right time and time again. Their bases are always creamy and never icy. The tastes are consistently true to the advertised flavors. Mix-in game is on point. And the aroma of freshly-made cones is impossible to ignore. Plus, every time I've been, they have had an impressive number of new flavors to try. To add to that, the staff is always kind, patient, and willing to explain flavor combinations. Price is average for a walk-in ice cream shop. "Kids" scoop (really a regular sized scoop) is $3.50 which includes a cake or sugar cone. A fresh waffle cone is a little more. What's unique is that you can get a "baby" scoop for $1.50, which is really nice if you just want to quench that sweet tooth without cheating on the diet. On the other hand, you can get a "tween" scoop, which is a baby scoop on top of a kids scoop for $4. The Scoop's top-notch quality makes it one of the best ice cream parlors in town. They even offer free dog treats for your furry friends!

The Scoop is one of the best ice cream parlors my family and I have been to. The ice cream is soft, creamy, and smooth while the waffle cone you eat it with just melts in your mouth as soon as you take a bite. The salted caramel was the best I have had in my life, and the bubble waffle was so incredibly flavorful. The service was exceptional and the staff was always willing to answer any questions, especially when asking for a recommendation. The overall feeling of this place is exactly what every little kid dreams about. The music and decorations are so cute and welcoming, especially the outside of the shop. The Scoop is a perfect ice cream parlor to go to after a long, hot day.

There are a few great ice cream shops in town but The Scoop is definitely one of my absolute favorites. Our family has been loyal guests at the South Hill location for years and we were very excited to hear that a second spot was opening. The flavors are always delicious and the ingredients are fresh...no skimping on quality and taste here. I love that most options are gluten free and there's sure to be at least two, and probably more, vegan ice creams too.

This place has the best customer service! The lady who made our ice cream was so nice and friendly. Her smile just added an extra yumminess on our ice cream for sure! Cute decorations. Yummy ice cream. We will definitely come back to try more soon!

If you want to find a Spokane local favorite, look no further!! This is a cute and fun place to stop on your downtown travels. It's good for date night or an afternoon with a friend. They have a fun atmosphere and flavors that change on a regular basis. It's easy to come here and be surprised every time. They are moderately priced and leave each customer with a smile. The flavors are creative and interesting--from Twinkeberry to Campfire Flame to Vegan Strawberry Mint. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a sweet treat!!

    This is where it's at!

(Which another shop in Spokane refused to do) The single scoop was a fairly large scoop. The house made waffle cone was also incredibly delicious! (As a side note to other reviews: we did NOT get any sauces on top of our delicious ice cream, it would have definitely ruined the quality flavor!) The service was great, the gentleman who served us; was friendly and knowledgable about ice cream and explained the process and Doyle's wonderfully. The ambiance of Doyle's is a classic old ice cream shop with lots of classic decorations all over the place. They have 1950's and older, Coca-Cola signs, collectable toys and figurines and Star Wars Toys all over the walls. Oh, they have a very nice little patio on the backside of the store! This was our first visit to Doyle's. My husband got a single scoop of mint chip ice cream. Originally, I was going to get a banana split but they were out of bananas. I decided to get a triple scoop: chocolate thunder, mint chip, strawberry ice cream. I was able to add 3 different toppings, whip cream and/or nuts. I got strawberry, chocolate and fudge. I thought strawberry, was fresh fruit strawberries. I thought the chocolate was chocolate chips. There is a little patio area, with tables and chairs behind the parlor. I was super disappointed by the ice cream I received. The sauces were overwhelming, disproportionate to the ice cream. The sauces were way too sweet. I couldn't even taste the ice cream. The ice cream was fair, not rich and creamy. I didn't finish even half the ice cream, not worth the sugar high and dry mouth. My husband said the ice cream was the same quality as the store's... but more expensive.

It had a couple long freezers of ice cream as well as a decorated case. The young guy who helped us was nice and gave good service. I got a double scoop in a cup of Cherry Garcia and Berry Berry Extraordinary. Cherry Garcia is what you expect it to be if you're familiar with Ben & Jerry's and Berry Berry Extraordinary was new to me and had to try it. It was a pretty tasty sorbet. My friend got a strawberry limeade smoothie. He said all he tasted was tart and limeade. He didn't taste any strawberry, which I agree because I tasted it and it definitely lacked strawberries. The decorated case was full and looked pretty good, but we didn't get anything from it. My 3 gripes are: 1) my double scoop looked like a junior scoop at best, 2) it was $16 bucks and it was a lack of value and quality regarding the smoothie, and 3) they had all the flavors you're familiar with but sorely lacked any fruity type offerings. The food was amazing. I would've been truly happy with the appetizers and the drinks alone (a restaurant should be considered amazing when all you want to do is eat all the appetizers on the menu). I knew this was going to be an amazing restaurant when I told the host the name on the reservation and someone snuck in and taken our table. So the starters were amazing, the drinks were wonderful, the people at the table next to us raved about the schnitzel. That was the only thing they would eat on the menu, but I looked over and they were tucking into a piece or two of their friend's pizza. My only regret well at least two is that I don't live close enough to go back there and finish eating all the appetizers as well as having a chance to try the desserts. This is a place that truly deserves recognition for the ambience the drinks, the starters and the main dishes. Get a reservation... Have drinks, starters a couple main course dishes and let me know how the desserts are. Hopefully, I'll be sitting at a table next to you sharing how much I love this meal.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better! I can see a salty pepperoni being good!

There is also public use bathrooms that aren't port a potties, in side stores that require patronage, or generally nonexistent like most outdoor farmers markets. Fresh flowers, produce, salsas, bread, baked goods, local brews/ciders, jewelry, artwork, and more is there to peruse. The market always has great variety but I go mainly for two things; Fetch Dog Bakery and Big Daddy's Honey. Occasionally I will partake at the Scone Ranger as well but it's the English toffee I'm perpetually out of luck on (they did say you can call the a few days before and say you are coming to the market and would like a certain flavor). Their other flavors are enticing too. My mother in law loves the orange cranberry. Fetch Dog Bakery is so adorable and if you weren't paying close enough attention to the little trailer, you'd think their delicious offerings were of the human variety. Granted, there are options for humans but it's intent is to be a great place to get really affordable and fresh treat options for your pets. Plus, their clientele (aka all kinds of dogs) is always fun to watch "shop". I usually get the 4 for $3 little flavored doggie bagels. Our dogs love them! Then I head down to Big Daddy's Honey and I get a jar of spun honey. If you've never had spun honey, I highly recommend it! It is the perfect companion to so many things; donuts, fry bread, biscuits, waffles, crepes, spoonful in tea, the list goes on and on. You just want to make sure to store correctly so it doesn't separate. My niece was a big big fan of the Lush Cotton Candy. It's customizable and every kid's confectionery dream.
