Located in the river park square mall. I bought a single scoop and found it to be a very generous serving.

The countless jokes about Ben and Jerry's Schweddy Balls Ice Cream made me wonder! http://www.hulu.com/watch/4156/saturday-night-live-nprs-delicious-dish-schweddy-balls This ice cream has rum flavored fudge malt balls mixed in with vanilla ice cream. It has a funny name but doesn't taste all that great! Point me back to the traditional flavors please but do me a favor a have a good laugh with the link to where it all started!

Whens the last time you had real premium ice cream? Uh-Oh! Run, don't walk to Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop in Riverpark Square to find out what you've been missing. With flavors like Chunky Monkey, Cherry Garcia and Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz you'll decide its all right to indulge once in awhile. Better yet local franchise owners regularly give back to the community. Just last month, there was FREE cone day. That's right, FREE! Donations were accepted for Wishing Star Foundation, but not required. Ben and Jerry's gave away over 8800 cones in one day and raised over $6000 for Wishing Star, who grant wishes for children with life threatening illness in our community. Ben & Jerry's catering will bring the scoop shop to you for a celebration or to your place of work. Now that's a way to boost company moral - with ice cream!

This is my first time at Ben & Jerry's and I can honestly say I was very satisfied. I got the salted caramel blondie on a waffle cone. I really liked it! There was a lot of flavors to choose from. And not only that, they had shakes and smoothies and what not. Love it here!

(Which another shop in Spokane refused to do) The single scoop was a fairly large scoop. The house made waffle cone was also incredibly delicious! (As a side note to other reviews: we did NOT get any sauces on top of our delicious ice cream, it would have definitely ruined the quality flavor!) The service was great, the gentleman who served us; was friendly and knowledgable about ice cream and explained the process and Doyle's wonderfully. The ambiance of Doyle's is a classic old ice cream shop with lots of classic decorations all over the place. They have 1950's and older, Coca-Cola signs, collectable toys and figurines and Star Wars Toys all over the walls. Oh, they have a very nice little patio on the backside of the store! This was our first visit to Doyle's. My husband got a single scoop of mint chip ice cream. Originally, I was going to get a banana split but they were out of bananas. I decided to get a triple scoop: chocolate thunder, mint chip, strawberry ice cream. I was able to add 3 different toppings, whip cream and/or nuts. I got strawberry, chocolate and fudge. I thought strawberry, was fresh fruit strawberries. I thought the chocolate was chocolate chips. There is a little patio area, with tables and chairs behind the parlor. I was super disappointed by the ice cream I received. The sauces were overwhelming, disproportionate to the ice cream. The sauces were way too sweet. I couldn't even taste the ice cream. The ice cream was fair, not rich and creamy. I didn't finish even half the ice cream, not worth the sugar high and dry mouth. My husband said the ice cream was the same quality as the store's... but more expensive.

I could tell there was still plenty of time to get a scoop before 8PM. At 7:43 PM, one of the workers came out from behind the counter and told about 10-15 of us in line that we would have to leave because they close at 8. She was very kind about it, and she kept saying "I hate having to do this," but it made absolutely no sense. She arbitrarily split the line, and decided some people could stay, but said the rest of us (5 girls ahead of us, and 7-8 people behind us) had to go. Mind you, the girls in front of us and our group were ALREADY IN THE SHOP. Everyone looked really confused, understandably. I've literally never had this happen to me before. I held up my phone to show the worker the time, and I said, "Its only 7:43. We have 17 minutes before closing." Others said, "but we're already in the shop" or "but we've been waiting in line for a while." None of this made any difference. We all still had to leave. Even though there was plenty of time to get everyone ice cream. And god-forbid they have to keep working until 8:05 or 8:10 to make sure patrons who waited in line could get ice cream. What kind of shop does this?? How is this acceptable? "Bad customer service" puts it mildly. I could spell out a million other better ways this could have been done. Do better, Scoop. Spokane already struggles in the ice-cream shop department. Please be a part of the solution, not the problem.

I was in town on a Monday, just after Hoopfest, but they were the kind of busy where a reservation should always be made I think. My table was ready and I sat in the bar at a high top table. I think I would choose "in the dining room" next time. My server was friendly and quick, as well as knowledgeable about gluten free options. There is even a separate menu that lays out the dishes that are already gf or could be made to be. Love this, always. I ordered the summer salad to start. It was amazing. Flavorful. Fresh. The mint wasn't overpowering, the watermelon was the perfect ripeness. It was so good. I would try to recreate it but it was done so well, and I know I couldn't hit that dressing in the same way. Get it while you can. For my main, I had ordered the scallops in my brain before I even arrived. The risotto was a little soupy, but the flavor was SO good. The corn came through and it went so well with the scallops. The tomatoes were quite over salted, but as long as I didn't eat them alone, it was alright. The scallops were perfectly cooked and I felt like the portion was appropriately sized for the dish, even though there were only 4. My server really made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was busy but the booths looked like they could be cozy. The prices were on the higher end. But for a special occasion, it was worth it. I really wished I'd had room for dessert. I will surely go back the next time I am in town.

Fresh flowers, produce, salsas, bread, baked goods, local brews/ciders, jewelry, artwork, and more is there to peruse. The market always has great variety but I go mainly for two things; Fetch Dog Bakery and Big Daddy's Honey. Occasionally I will partake at the Scone Ranger as well but it's the English toffee I'm perpetually out of luck on (they did say you can call the a few days before and say you are coming to the market and would like a certain flavor). Their other flavors are enticing too. My mother in law loves the orange cranberry. Fetch Dog Bakery is so adorable and if you weren't paying close enough attention to the little trailer, you'd think their delicious offerings were of the human variety. Granted, there are options for humans but it's intent is to be a great place to get really affordable and fresh treat options for your pets. Plus, their clientele (aka all kinds of dogs) is always fun to watch "shop". I usually get the 4 for $3 little flavored doggie bagels. Our dogs love them! Then I head down to Big Daddy's Honey and I get a jar of spun honey. If you've never had spun honey, I highly recommend it! It is the perfect companion to so many things; donuts, fry bread, biscuits, waffles, crepes, spoonful in tea, the list goes on and on. You just want to make sure to store correctly so it doesn't separate. My niece was a big big fan of the Lush Cotton Candy. It's customizable and every kid's confectionery dream.
