I stopped by on a Saturday morning after hearing so much about Donut Parade, and honestly, I left a bit underwhelmed. The dining room was almost empty when I walked in, and no one greeted me. They were playing some Kanye west music behind the counter so I thought there'd be some livelihood but... there wasn't. One of the younger employees who took my order was fine but you could tell he didn't want to be there and the person at the register seemed like they didn't really want to be there either. They weren't outright rude, but the interaction definitely wasn't welcoming and both of them mumbled and spoke so low, I had to ask them both multiple times what they were saying. I ordered two donuts and a cup of coffee, which came to $7.35. For what was a Keurig coffee with basic shelf-stable creamer, it felt overpriced. On the positive side, the donuts were good. You can tell they're handmade, and they had a nice taste. They were definitely the highlight of the visit. Maybe my expectations were too high because of all the recommendations I'd heard, but I expected a Saturday morning at such a well-known donut shop to have more energy and atmosphere. Best donut in Spokane!!! Love this spot. Today I tried the "flower" donut. It is a "pull apart" donut that looks like a flower. Also tried the pineapple jalapeño fritter and that was fun! This is my first time here meeting clients and just sat down maybe 3 minutes and one of the bakery staff come over and says hello have you read the sign I look at her and say no. I thought it was a menu and didn't pay attention to it. She says to me seats are for paying customers. I say to her well I just sat down here she was rude. Absolutely amazing spot for donuts! I was especially impressed by the unique variety of fritters, something you don't often see elsewhere. We try to come to donut parade anytime we come visit Spokane, day or night, doesn't matter when because they are open 24 hours a day. The people are so nice every time we come even when they've working with the hot ovens in the hot summer heat all day. They have such a good variety of classic and specialty options. The donuts are super soft and have a definite heft to them. The other great thing is that unlike most donut places, everything is still fresh and you don't feel like you are SOL if you didn't get there super early in the morning. You can tell when you missed the window and are getting just whatever is left at other places but here, the case always have tasty options to chose from. There has only been one time we had to wait in a little bit of a line and that was on a Saturday morning but usually it's right in and right out. We usually take ours to go but there is a good amount of space to sit and enjoy as well with some coffee or other cold beverages they sell. read more

This is the first time we have been here. The building is old so there is no AC and was really warm inside. We chose an Apple Fritter as let's be honest, they are the best donut option. My husband and I split one and it was a good size. The favors were good and we LOVED the big chunks of apply speckled through it. The only problem we had was the doughnut was still really doughy and needed to cook for a couple more minutes. Overal, we'll go back and give it another try.
