When we were asked if we wanted another round, I declined and asked for water instead. Another 30 minutes went by with no food and, more importantly, still no water. We eventually asked the hostess if we could sit at one of the three empty tables. We then waited another 15 minutes for our appetizer and approximately 20 more minutes for our meal. We finished eating and still hadn't been checked on. We never received the water I had requested. I eventually had to get up and go to the bar myself to get it. The bartender then brought us the check, and I mentioned that I was still waiting for the water. By this point, we were extremely frustrated. Not once during our meal did anyone check on us. The only time someone came back to the table was to take payment and clear the dishes--we were already finished and didn't need anything by then. We ended up spending 1 hour and 55 minutes there for two people sharing an appetizer and a steam pot. That's a ridiculous amount of time for that amount of food, especially considering how much of that time was spent waiting for someone to take our order, bring water, bring our food, or simply check on us. The food was good, but the service was some of the worst we've experienced. We place a huge value on good service, and when you can't even get a glass of water or have someone check on you during your entire meal, it really takes away from the experience. Great food doesn't make up for nearly two hours of waiting and virtually no service.

Stopped in the other night on our way through the state and so glad we did! A gentleman (whom I believe was the owner), recommended the hand tossed pizza as they make the dough from scratch. Soooo good! It's wood fired so it's gonna get a little char on the bottom which makes it even more delicious! The gentleman we spoke with was also very knowledgeable about the beer offerings and helped guide us. They have a great little play area out front so they're very family friendly. There's non alcoholic, beers galore, THC drinks (must be a big thing in NC), ciders, and some other canned concoctions. You grab what you want and head to the register. If you are staying and grab more than one, they have to hold it for you as your second round. You can only have one open drink per person. There is a $10 minimum on purchases. Once your drink is secured, you then find a spot to perch. There's indoor and outdoor options. It was rainy when we went and we were able to find a spot that was covered. This is a super chill place. We were a larger party but split into two checks to keep things as simple as possible, yet people were still egregiously mischarged, many items were charged multiple times. The only compensation the restaurant was readily willing to give us was two $25 alcohol-excluded gift certificates (that we could only use on our next visit. My party was on a weekend trip.)
