There's been no basic appreciation, no thanks, and no sense that donations are welcome. Instead, the only responses I've gotten from staff have been things like "don't walk into the donation area," "what are you donating," or "we don't take that" -- even when the item is clearly listed as accepted on their website. The overall attitude toward people trying to donate is rude and dismissive. I won't be bringing anything else here and will be finding another local charity that actually values donations and treats donors with respect.
