While the physical atmosphere is quaint and inviting, it's not enough to make up for the lackluster service, terrible rush out the door attitude and no skill set tech. I've been here a handful of times a few years ago for hair services and just now I took my daughter and her bff here for mani's. Hair services. No. She gave me a shorter cut that I wanted. Didn't seem to know what layers were and tried to talk me out of the wash before the cut. Mani's. Absolutely never again. The tech was dressed in her pajamas. She had a terrible attitude and pushed us out the door after screwing up both my kids nails. She didn't shape them, the messiest pain job I've ever seen, my 8 yr old niece could have done better. Didn't do the nail art I requested at all. And the 'glitter coat' one of them asked for is actually a glitter mountain. Absolutely awful. I'm disgusted. What a waste of time and money. read more

My sister and I called to book a body polish, steam and massage while we were in town. They worked the schedule to fit us in and I'm so happy that they did! It's a beautiful place, smells great! Went right before a birthday party I was attending, and everyone told me I look 20 years younger with my haircut. I have used the surfaces of the spa for many years and I'd loved it but now I love Haley even more because I look 40 instead of 60. read more

Loved my massage with Amber at this spa. I called on a Saturday morning for a last minute appointment and was so happy they were able to accommodate me. One of my favorite things about this place is before you enter, you must leave your shoes at the door - The place was so clean. I went to seventh moon with a bridal party and we were treated awfully. Instead of greeting us pleasantly or asking us who the bride was we were greeted with "it's time to start and we are on a strict schedule today". One lady was told that the young children there 7-11 were not getting their nails done (by the children's mother) but then turned around and asked the children who said yes and almost went and started the nails before someone from the bridal party stopped her and said to clarify with mom. As soon as the last girls nails were done we were rushed out before her nails even dried and they were completely messed up before we even got home. Not a great experience at all. read more

I have tried so many services at the Seventh Moon and just can't come up with a favorite. They are all great! The spa is located in such a nice, quiet, and relaxing spot. Never had a problem with overhearing other clients with their services. Every massage I had (from deep muscle, hot stone, riki) was extremely relaxing and recharged my batteries. All the massage therapist I have used always asked what trouble spots I had and worked their magic. My husband and I did a couple's massage once and he now tells me that I need to call up "that place" so he can realx. Now I use their nail services. Was going to another place for many years. I always believed that by going to a spa like environment would be expensive but it was actually budget friendly. Had personal attention by my new nail tech Deb. She did my new acrylics by hand and took her time to do them right. Other place I went to does them quickly, no personal attention, usually is really rough and either burns my nail by using the nail drill or makes me bleed, and uses very questionable products. I absolutely will never use any other place again. Looking forward to scheduling a pedicure to get my feet flip flop ready. I highly recommend The Seventh Moon for any spa services. It is so much like a bigger spa that one would find in a big city that is located in a small town. The prices are so reasonable that there is no excuse for no one not to pamper themselves. They use an online booking system that is so easy to use. read more

I had a massage with LuAnn and it was wonderful. She did a great job and felt so relaxed after. The spa is much nicer than I expected, too. It's very clean and quiet. They make you take your shoes off before you come in, which is a little weird, but I think it contributed to how clean it was. I'm really looking forward to my next visit! read more

I recently moved to this area and was looking for a new hairdresser. After quite a few months of searching, a friend recommended Seventh Moon. I'm so glad she did! Dani has been wonderful! She always listens to what I want and gives me the perfect color and cut. Prices are quite reasonable as well. I was paying more than double Seventh Moon's prices in NJ. I will definitely be back! (As far as having to take your shoes off prior to entering, I'm happy they do that. I do the same in my home. And they do offer cover-ups for your shoes if you prefer to leave your shoes on.) read more

This is the best place to get a mani/pedi. My last manicure was a gel one and after two weeks, they still look fresh and amazing. I can't believe it took me so long to review this wonderful place! I booked a spa day for the girls the day before my wedding. My mom, mother-in-law, and myself were treated to absolutely amazing massages while the others had their fingers and toes pampered. They provided snacks and wine and were so, so good with my 8-year-old niece, the flower girl. Xandria is amazing and went all-out to ensure we had a wonderful and relaxing spa day. This is truly a gem tucked away in the Jim Thorpe area and I sincerely recommend it. We will be back! read more

Horrible!! is the only way to describe this experience. For starters, there seemed to be a hygiene issue with this facility- the robes, slippers, bathroom etc..therefore I wore my regular clothing after each service. I scheduled a facial, hot stone massage and spa pedicure. The facial was superficial and left much to be desired. Despite my directives, the masseuse failed to apply the appropriate pressure and did not pay attention to specific areas of attention. The pedicure was such a joke that I ended up having to get it re-done the next day at a different salon. Might I add, all 3 services were provided by 3 different technicians, which leads me to believe it is an issue with spa management and poor hiring practices as opposed to maybe an "off day" with a particular technician.This experience was a complete and utter waste of money. Needless to say, I shall never return nor will I be referring anyone to this establishment. If you happen to be the complacent type who doesn't mind mediocrity, inexperienced personnel and dingy surroundings, then this is the place for you. As for me, I will continue to travel to NYC for Spa Days. The price tag may be higher but well worth the quality and impeccable experience!! read more
