I had a wonderful experience hosting my daughter's birthday party at Shady Oaks Farm. From beginning to end, Chelsea was friendly and very responsive. She was able to book us last minute for a Paint a Pony birthday party. The day of was seamless. Chelsea was extremely helpful and even assisted with the decorating. The barn is spacious and clean, you have a small bathroom in there as well. She set me up with two tables for guests, a food table, and a gift table. The party itself was a blast, Chelsea was great with the kids. The birthday girl and her friends brushed, painted, and bathed Princess Priscilla. They were absolutely in love, as were all the parents. It was a memorable experience for everyone. I highly recommend booking with Shady Oaks if you are looking for a unique event venue.

Definitely would recommend visiting Shady Oaks Farm for some baby goat kisses. I shopped around and was super excited to find this location, which was best priced as well As being in a good central location. Chelsea was super sweet and let us play with the goats while giving us the low down on everything you need to know about goats. They also have horse tours, goat yoga and sell sweet selling lotions and soaps.

An absolute dream come true! I've always wanted to get hands on experience with horses. Having grown up nowhere near a farm, I've been intrigued by horses for seemingly forever, and getting to paint and bathe Iris, a beautiful freckled-faced mare at Shady Oaks farm was something I will never forget. Thank you, Chelsea, for sharing your knowledge and beautiful animals.

This was an absolutely thrilling g experience. My kids (9 and 5) had never experienced a horse before. I had been looking for a place to introduce the kiddos to horses in a safe manner. This ticked all the boxes. The owner was absolutely wonderful with kids and gentle with instructing them how to meet a horse in a safe manner. To quote my daughter "Best day ever." Thank you so much.

I visited to do the painting of the horse experience and had such a memorable time. I am not an artist at all, but certainly felt like one!!! The animals are cared for, Chelsea and Devan are passionate about what they do, and their knowledge is evident of all animals. It was great meeting them; they were both personable and I will recommend this to everyone! My art represents my home, Arizona This is a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else. Book it!!!!

Everyone at Margarita was super nice, and you could tell that everyone involved with the escape room were hardcore enthusiasts. Rita's is their stand-alone, which was a lot of fun and was challenging but not frustratingly so. Definitely can do it with two people with minimal to no hints. Renegade is where they really bring it in terms of design and puzzles. We escaped Retrofit but needed help, and Episodes 2 and 3 were very challenging (we did not escape). Having a third or fourth person would have helped. I can't say much without spoiling anything, but they definitely put their love into this one. It is the same set for all three chapters, but certain elements are only active depending on which episode you're playing. But if you hate lock heavy rooms then this one is for you. I think just about every puzzle you solve leads to the next one without ever having to spin numbers or letters on a lock. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping off here. Plenty of parking and there's Ancient Peaks wine tasting room with a menu across the street. Or The Range or The Porch not too far up the road.

Wondering if they've stopped seasoning their meat in order to cater to the demographic here in Atascadero.... Especially the carne asada I mean apart from having so much fatty meat, it had no flavor. The service is always great too, just a little disappointing. When I'm talking about flavor, especially for $4 a taco, I expect a hint of garlic, salt, pepper, lime, etc. I expect the meat to be marinated and flavorful. Maybe they already do that, given they do sell amazing carne preparada, but the hot food just hasn't been the same for the last 3-4 times I've gone. I like supporting local mexican businesses so I continue to go but today might've been my last. I don't think I'll be driving from Slo to Suprema Meat Market for their hot food again. The cold and prepared meats are of high quality though so this review is strictly for the hot food. I understand that they need to stay competitive with the market, but the total for 5 bite sized tacos was $22.... That's insane. For $4 a taco, I just expect more. I hope they review this and implement some change! I see that the owner reached out and I appreciate his response. Maybe I'll give it a try again.

You ask for one thing and get something else. You ask for no onions, and get onions, etc. You order chicken tenders which says you get 3 and only get 2. Lastly, let's talk about quality. The last few times I've eaten here I've gotten sick. I don't know if they are using expired or left out food, but its been consistent with all members of our house. Moe's is in dire need of new management and better quality control.

Grapevines, open land, hills, oak trees, golden grass, ranch style homes, clean, paved roads leading to multiple planned out destinations surround this low key area. It feels more like a get away city for the upper class who probably own mansions in Hollywood, but this is when they want a taste of simple ranch life. Then you also have the other half which you can tell have been living here for a long time or inherited the big pieces of property. Then of course you have the still pricey locations where the middle class lives to provide services for the Atascadero residents and visitors. Sounds like the formula used in majority of California cities, but it's nicer and cleaner here.
