We had such a fantastic wedding experience at The Groves! We live ~3.5 hours away, and wedding planning from afar is stressful. Jennifer and Karen were an absolute pleasure to work with, and made everything extremely simple for us. Communication was quick and easy, and Jennifer answered my continued inquiries without hesitation. I never felt like I was bothering her - she was consistently upbeat and pleasant. The property and venue is BEAUTIFUL. There was rain on our wedding day, but I think our Plan B option that Jennifer helped develop turned out even better than Plan A! They offer a ton of amenities, including the house on property, tables, chairs etc. We even used Olive Oil from the venue for our wedding favors, and our guests RAVED about them :) Jennifer recommended several vendors that we ended up going with, including hair and makeup. Our family recently stayed at The Groves on 41 while on vacation and to say we enjoyed it would be an understatement! The owners are so warm, friendly, and helpful, making sure we had a wonderful time. The farmhouse was exquisite and comfortable and the property was breathtaking. It had all sorts of amenities that we loved. We instantly felt at home and did not want to leave. It was our kids' first time to CA and they instantly fell in love as well. When we met Jennifer for the first time at The Groves on 41, we knew instantly this was the perfect place for our wedding. We planned to have a winter wedding on our anniversary, so we knew we needed the option for an indoor ceremony.. And boy did it pay off. We had light drizzle the morning of and my wedding coordinator and Jennifer from The Groves made the executive decision to move the ceremony from the patio to inside in front of the roll up doors of their barn. It made for beautiful ceremony photos with the misty rain and trees in the background. After the ceremony we spent time in the misty rain taking pictures around their gardens. There are plenty of hidden romantic areas for photo taking, not to mention in the olive groves themselves. The rentable cottage made for ease of getting ready and a place for the wedding party to gather prior to the wedding. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for the winery feel, or who needs a flexible indoor/outdoor venue. We initially contacted The Groves on 41 when we were just shopping around for a wedding venue early in 2016. We were in contact with several different venues and we eventually found a different one that fit our budget and decided to book them instead. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, our original venue cancelled at the last minute (about 9 months before the wedding day) and we were left scrambling to try to find a new venue. We reached out to The Groves on 41 and explained our situation to them and they were more than happy to meet with us on the same weekend after we found out that our original venue cancelled. We did our first walkthrough with Karen (and Dakota, the family dog) and she was so warm and welcoming to us. The moment we stepped out of our car, we knew this was where we would want to get married. The place was lush, gorgeous, and so peaceful. We decided right then and there to book it and asked Karen if we could meet again the following weekend to put a down payment for our wedding. We returned the following weekend and met with Jennifer, who was equally as accommodating as Karen. She was able to explain to us in further detail what would be included in the venue rental. We were upfront with her about going with a different venue after our initial contact with them and they handled it professionally. Jen said that the moment she wanted to help us out the moment she learned what happened with our venue's last minute cancellation. Due to the size of our wedding, they were also able to work with our price range. Jen was really helpful throughout the entire process. Both her and Karen encouraged us to visit the venue as often as possible in the months leading up to our wedding. We even rented out the little cottage as a treat during my birthday. Jen was very communicative and welcoming, and she even gave us some bottles of the olive oil they make in their farm (hello yummy jalapeño and garlic flavored olive oil!). The rental was for the entire weekend and it included the big house, the barn, and its surrounding areas. We held a BBQ for our wedding guests the night before our wedding and everyone had amazing things to say about the big house. Jen was on site for the most part and was available for any questions we had. She also met with some of our vendors beforehand and gave them a tour of the venue. Our guests just kept raving about how beautiful the venue is. True story: we were initially not planning on hiring a photographer, but decided to do so because of how great The Groves on 41 looks! Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to Jen and Karen (and Dakota) for making our wedding weekend so special and stress free. The amount of support and kindness they showed us are much appreciated. We had our ceremony and reception at the Groves on 41 in October 2019. The venue has everything you need for a beautiful outdoor or indoor setting. The contact we worked with was Jennifer. She made the whole process easy. I felt like I was planning my wedding with a family member, she was so communicative and helpful in the planning process. When we were onsite she did not disappoint either. She seemed to be everywhere! It was so nice having the venue working with us and our vendors, verses against us, as some cookie cutter venues do. The grounds provided the perfect setting for our friends and family to celebrate. Having tons of parking, a beautiful well maintained lawn, indoor area and outdoor patio was a dream! I knew no matter what mother nature threw at us we would be ready! Our guests were very happy the ceremony area on the main lawn was positioned perfectly so the area is shaded by late afternoon, which kept all of us out direct sun and comfortable. There are also a million plus places to take photos. The trees throughout the property provide great lighting control and framing options for amazing photos. Also, who can resist sneaking through the Olive groves for the PERFECT sunset photos! We hosted our cocktails in a portion of the barn and on the outdoor area and had the full reception, dancing etc on the patio. The patio has a picturesque fireplace, market string lighting above and trees circling the patio. Dancing under the sting lights all night long with friends and family made our night! The home on property was ideal. Having the place we stayed, celebrated and relaxed at after the party all in one area was a dream come true. Be sure to take some time to relax on the porch under a blanket on a rocker and look up at the sky! The giant tub was a godsend after 10 hours in heels too! On April 6, 2013, I married the love of my life at The Groves on 41. After touring wedding venues all over the Central Coast, we immediately fell in love with this venue. From start to finish, our experience was five stars across the board. Karen and Jennifer were extremely accommodating during the planning stages and never tired of our questions. The venue is phenomenal with newly planted olive orchards doting the hillside, lush, green lawns which were perfect for our ceremony needs and several smaller, intimate areas which were perfect for bridal photos. It was very important to us to have our wedding ceremony and reception in one location. The Groves on 41 is the perfect venue for others seeking the same experience. The huge, finished, steel barn complete with kitchen and a courtyard/patio area was exactly what we envisioned for our reception. A bonus: LOTS of parking for your guests. Double bonus: TONS of fabulous spots for photographs! She was understanding and accommodating when it came to having some of our deliveries from our vendors. Many of our guest were surprised that this beautiful and unique place existed. It definitely had it own wow factor. I know when we first stepped out of the car to look at the venue I could see the wedding day unfolding. Because the location is already gorgeous, we really did no decorating ourselves which was able to save us some more money. Jennifer is great to work with and she is super accommodating. On the actual day of the wedding, she is around to help out with anything that may come up. The house on site that we stayed in worked perfectly so that we could all get ready on site and not need to worry about traveling at any point. We also really appreciated being able to bring in our own alcohol as that also was a huge money saver. Jennifer is also a great resource for recommendations on vendors. The Groves on 41 is an amazing event venue. It is a magical setting for any wedding or celebration. It is situated among a beautiful olive grove which they produce some of the best olive oils from. The great thing about the venue as well is there is a very cute two story cottage on site that you can also rent as a vacation rental and sleep quite a few people in. Had a magical stay at the Cottage in the middle of the Olive Groves on 41 over the fourth of July weekend. One of those once in a lifetime experiences. I was with the love of my life and soulmate of 35 years. Woke up pretty early the first morning because of the howling birds and sunlight not filtered by smog streaming in through the shades. Took our coffees out onto the front porch to a table overlooking a forest glade right out of a Disney movie. So help me I am not kidding. Bluebirds, hummingbirds and some I don't know whats darting around in the bushes doing bird stuff when a 15 pound cottontail bunny hops across the meadow. Oh, and an owl stopped by on his way to bed. Got some great pictures and as soon as I figure out how to download my new camera I will post them here. Pictures of the bunny but not the owl. After a wonderful breakfast with the plantation owners we took a leisurely 20 minute drive to Morro Bay to look at the best art galleries on the central coast and a really really big rock in the harbor. This is the kind of place where the memories you make stick in your mind like forever. For us it was a romantic hideaway right out of a fantasy. Looking out of every window is a picture you could frame and hang on the wall. It's a big cottage. We only used a corner of it. It could accommodate a large family or an organization retreat. Or it would be a great place for a writer or painter to recharge with Gaia. I understand the Groves on 41 is a popular wedding venue so I suppose this accommodation is sometimes a honeymoon cottage. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique romantic retreat from the grind life has become. You absolutely will not be disappointed. I am unable to adequately describe how revitalizing this place is. All of this and the best hosts and olive oil you could ask for. Bring your family. Bring your lover. Fabulous! We took a family vacation and rented the cottage at the groves. Our little boys were able to explore for hours on the grounds and the accommodations were beautiful, private, well equipped, and comfortable. Having the full kitchen in the cottage made it easy and affordable to prepare meals for the family and minimize our trips off of the property. Also, easy access into town and for a quick trip to Morro Bay to beat the heat. Karen and Jennifer were very pleasant and made us feel incredibly welcome. Actually, both of our young boys commented that Jennifer and Karen were among their favorite parts of the trip. The Groves on 41 hosted our daughter's wedding last month. We could not have found a better venue or a more helpful hostess. Jennifer was gracious, attentive and professional throughout the process, from our first visit to the final cleanup. She worked seamlessly with our vendors--consultant, caterer, DJ, suppliers, photographer, etc. The olive groves, classic farmhouse, backyard ceremony site, reception barn and patio for dancing is immaculate and inviting for the wedding party and guests. The cottage for the bridesmaids and the wedding couple is charming and a big bonus. The ambience at The Groves is warm and authentic, a beautiful portrait of country life that is perfect for a wedding and reception. Pour Boys Bartenders has had the pleasure of pouring at some of the areas best venues and locations, I must admit that I love returning to The Groves on 41. The location is beautiful and well planned out. The owners are pleasure to work with. The kitchen and bar area are top notch with plenty work space. The granite island was perfect it added more space for my staff to work with. Jennifer is quite the gem. She was attentive and caring. The second we drove up we knew this place was special. The winding road from the entry gate to the barn sets the scene perfectly, I think we both knew this was the perfect venue almost from that piece alone. Jennifer was amazing and so incredibly helpful through the planning process. Her and her mother go above and beyond. We planned from a distance, and she was always very accommodating with our last minute visits. They even set up a complimentary olive oil tasting for us one time when we brought our parents to visit after we booked! They are constantly upgrading the venue space. It seemed like there was some awesome improvement every time we visited. The 3,000sf two story house that is included for both Friday and Saturday night was perfect for a casual rehearsal dinner, and for everyone to get ready at the morning of. We didn't even know what to do with all the space! The weekend of the wedding, Jennifer was around, in the background, for anything and everything we needed but not interfering at all either. She was there for rehearsal with aisle chairs set up and waiting. She came running over when our 2 year old ring bearer managed to lock himself in the house bathroom after rehearsal. She let our florist use olive branch trimmings in the arrangements. She directed parking day of to make sure it stayed organized. And a million other little things that I'm sure we don't even realize. Jennifer is really the final piece that puts The Groves over the top for being an awesome venue! The other nice piece is being able to basically bring in any vendor you want (licensed of course!) and being essentially a beautiful blank slate for your event. We originally envisioned a winery for our wedding (but those are far too expensive and restrictive) and with a few little touches with the decor - this place fit that vision probably better than doing it at an actual winery. The venue is so beautiful minimal decorating is needed unless you really want to do/spend more. Obviously, we cannot say enough about The Groves (and Jennifer) and hope we can have a family event there in the future. No need to think twice - just book with them and you'll be happy! read more

My family was visiting town so we went to The Groves on 41 this Sunday for an olive oil tasting. I couldn't have asked for a better spot to showcase to the family what a great place the central coast is. Karen, the owner, was so open with her time and knowledge. I thought we were coming here just for an oil tasting but when Karen asked if we wanted to see the farm, we jumped at the chance. This property is amazing. There are 4000 olive trees, a cool cottage that can be rented, expansive areas for weddings and special events, and tons of other trees and plants that show the bounty of the area. (My favorite was the fig tree). We asked so many questions because Karen is just so knowledgeable about the area, the industry, and the entire process. On top of all of this, the oils were delicious. We left with four bottles (one spanish varietal, one Greek, and the basil and garlic flavors), and my parents with two (including the raspberry flavored - amazing).
