I've been in twice in the last month hoping to buy an electric drum set. The first time none of the…read morekits on the floor were playable. (No power supply, rack folded in an unusable manner, etc..) When I asked about it, the sales associate said "yeah we usually don't bother keeping the low-end kits set up." I was looking at either an Alesis Strata Prime or Roland TD516. Both are about $3500. He told me to come back another day and they should be working. I went back today (ready to buy) and the Alesis is still missing the power supply. The same sales rep said, "yeah they keep disappearing." No offer to look for one or any sort of real assistance. Overall pretty disappointing.

I went in today to purchase a new digital keyboard. I was helped by a gentleman named Jon St Pierre…read more(I think that's how you spell his name). He was very kind and very helpful. The specific keyboard I wanted was not in stock, but he ordered it for me to be delivered to my house. It's been quite some time since I've made a purchase at guitar center and the last time I was there buying a midi controller the lady helping me seemed pretty unmotivated and didn't seem to know anything about what I was looking to purchase. I'm really glad to say Jon St Pierre was very knowledgeable, very fast to help us and provide us with good customer service, and he had a great attitude. In my opinion he is a shining example of what customer service should be especially when spending hundreds of dollars on an instrument you hope will last for a long time.

My one hundredth review, brought to you by a two-time Lady Rockstar…read more First of all, ignore the shitty one-star review from the user who clearly doesn't get PML's mission, and hear out the point of view from someone who has done more than just one class at this organization and absolutely enjoyed her experiences here. I have done two Lady Rockstars classes, a women's weekend retreat and one of their many Girl Jams, all in the span of four and a half months! In doing so, I learned so much more than the music. These music classes don't just focus on the music, although learning the music is pivotal and the instructors here do a kickass job of teaching that (also they have Plugged In online classes that are totally affordable, if that's something you'd like to take advantage of). But another part of it is becoming empowered and learning to empower your other classmates. Also you build relationships with your classmates within the four weeks of your Lady Rockstars class, and you walk away having made friendships with some cool chicas. As a vocalist and performer, I've had experiences that were stressful, uncomfortable and super tense, even turbulent and volatile at times, and could not even enjoy the rehearsal process, as such awful atmospheres made it feel like work. Believe me when I say that PML offers a unique experience (and for some a therapeutic one), vastly different from anything else you've done. (No cattiness or bitchiness allowed here, either!) And for that, I am grateful and will thank Krystle a million times over. But don't take my word for it. Go down to PML, and check it out for yourself. Rock on!

I'm doing the online classes, and love the way Krystle teaches. She offers leveled lessons so you…read morecan choose the instructions most accessible to you. Her sense of humor and realness help when you're feeling frustrated or struggling with a song. I also love that she is promoting growth mindset without downplaying the importance of sticking with it until you get it right. I would love to do Lady Rockstars but live too far away. Maybe someday!

I found this people on eBay. They were offering a vintage guitar for sale, "exceptionally clean"…read moreand "all original". Soon as I messaged them, this guy named Phill answered (I later found out he is the owner) stating the guitar was really "all original". I asked specifically about the pots (there were no photos on the ad), and this person, again, confirmed they were "all original" (I have all e mails to prove it), and then he said he'd cut me a deal if i bought it directly. I naively believed/accepted it, and bought it straight through paypal. To my surprise, when i received the guitar, it had a replaced pot (newer version, very badly put in), the bridge and tailpiece werent original, and the pickups were inverted (YES, "inverted": neck/bridge), with all the harness inside being messed up because of it. I tried several times to contact this guy again, see if I could return it or, at the very least, get a partial refund to try and get the guitar as close as possible to the "all original" advertised condition..at first he acknowleged the problems with the guitar (of course, they knew all about it), and said he'd do the refund, but after that he simply disappeared, ignored all my e mails/calls. After the incident I did a quick research on them and found out they are known to do this sort of thing, sell bad quality items and tell the customers to go hang..Long story short, they lied about the guitar condition, sold me junk, and kept my money. So a little piece of advice: if youre looking to buy real good quality vintage gear, do yourself a HUGE favor: steer clear of this people and keep looking. There are a lot of WAY better options out there. Just my two cents.
