Marcus always had a cheerful disposition and was willing to assist me with my questions and multiple sample requests until I determined final colors. It's a huge store with tools and supplies of ACE you are use to but also have garden center, irrigation department and also outdoor equipment and supplies. Three very nice, helpful people tried to find them for me. They searched the shelves, a back room, the warehouse, and the garden center, to no avail. They offered to order some, but it would take too long. Je suis désolée. They did offer a very fancy alternative, Stihl shears, but they were $140 more than the ones I wanted, and I don't need impressive garden tools :D

I know pretty much nothing about prepping, etc., but whenever I have a question, I get really helpful and not condescending answers. I should mention too that I love Benjamin Moore paint. We've used Natura before and it was great (zero VOC!) and we just painted our kitchen with Aura -- also superb. It coats extremely well. Now we're working on the exterior of our house, and the Low Lustre exterior paint has been great too. Forrest did a custom color match to our existing front porch paint and it was perfect. Woo! Also, anyone who has a rescued greyhound gets bonus points from me.

He has often informed me of new products and sundries available that I wasn't aware of. The store is clean and welcoming, and his assistant, Heather, is great too. Forrest almost always has his dog with him at the store, she's a friendly rescued Greyhound. I have never had a bad paint mix from them (I am a regular customer) And it's a lifesaver for me that they carry samples in just about all of the Ben Moore colors. Some places that carry Ben Moore only have the limited palette of factory produced sample sizes, but Forest supplements those with the remaining colors. It's such a great feature. I'm so happy they are around and centrally located. P.S. Thursday is "donut Thursdays"

I can't tell you how right this guy was! Ever since I have started just using SW paints, everything is easier, takes less coats and lasts! Plus I have had great service at almost all the SW I have been too (Park Meadows is the lone store I avoid). This time I came in with three shades of paint I needed to match from the house I recently bought. Not only did they get me in and out in like 20 minutes, they matched everything PERFECTLY - even the slightly faded weird front door color! I just won't go anywhere else. Plus their recommendations are always spot on. For instance, I wanted a nice brush I could use over and over and the one recommended has been a dream - it washes out easy and looks as good now as it did the first day! Highly recommend. This one has tons of parking since it is in a King Soopers parking lot. Plus there is a light to get in/out. Easy peasy :)
