Unfortunately you could see that the hot Sacramento sun was starting to take a bit of a toll on the beautiful buds, but nature is as nature does. It's a small but very cute, open area with several benches. It surrounded by cement which makes it perfect for weddings and other events. Gorgeous way to spend a part of your day.

Rose beds are arranged in a circular formation while climbing roses are grown on 10-ft tall trellises (the Grand Trellis here makes a good photo backdrop). I visited in late April. Most of the garden was still dormant but there were a few spots that couldn't wait to bloom with a bang (the roses that I saw were huge!). Was nice to see that even at this time the entire garden was well-kept (tidy walkways, absence of weeds in the rose beds, etc.). Free to visit. Plentiful parking. Definitely recommend taking a peek especially during peak blooming season!

The planning crew, Asad, David and Olivia were amazing. Asad was super awesome on the day of our wedding, coordinated everything so that there were as little hiccups as possible. As much as we would like everything to be perfect just like you who may be reading this, realistically not everything will go according to plan. So please be flexible. This place is a hidden gem and by the external looks you would never guess such a rich/plush venue exists here. But once you go inside, it's a game changer. I was calling up another business that belongs to the same owners for an event with a very short notice, and their other business was booked. I asked their staff member if they had other venues available, and he told me to expect a call from their owner in the next few minutes. No more than 10 minutes later, the owner of this venue called and told me all about it, and just by his hospitality I was honestly blown away and sold on doing business with him. The rest of the story was an amazing event night (pictures speak to themselves), a wonderful food buffet, and a night to be remembered for years to come. I sent contact information via the website and ultimately had a conversation with Carolyn on 10/14/2024 for a 11/22/2024 event. She confirmed space, time and availability and confirmed the date. At no point did she mention any other needed communication, including a contract or deposit to pay. I thought this was odd, but she assured me all would be fine. It is now the day of and I spoke with her this morning to confirm everything. She said she would send me an invoice, told me what time I could be there and even asked if our artist would be willing to host these events regularly. An hour later I get professionally crafted email (which she has NEVER spoken to me in this way) telling that since I failed to get this event approved or send in a contract or pay beforehand AND because she is double-booked, my event is summarily CANCELLED. I have promoted this event, collected payment and to cancel with less than FIVE HOURS to go is not just unprofessional but is close to criminal. Carolyn refused to answer my calls, her staff hung up on me and all she did was send me an email stating she has to be "fair and consistent". Fair to whom?? Stay FAR AWAY from either of these businesses as they are NOT well run!
