The owner, Jeff, is very caring and wants to improve your ability to be more comfortable in whatever shoes you wear. He was not pushy in SELLING a pair or shoes to fix my issue, but rather provided options. In the end, he found one leg to be shorter than the other, hand crafted inserts to meet the needs of both feet, and improve my gait! How awesome is that! And what is even more awesome is he provided additional inserts so that i could use my other sneakers and even sandals and did not have to purchase another pair of shoes!!! So, in the short of it, in the future, my first stop for shoe or leather repair or purchase of a new pair of shoes (they have all styles), will be The Shoe Lab! read more

MY SHOES ARE RUINED. DO NOT COME HERE. I am sobbing after leaving. I brought my Pierre Cardin heels in for a heel tip replacement (super easy fix) and I'm leaving with them more beaten up and torn than ever before. The leather is chipped away and peeling all over the heel which wasn't how I brought them in. These were tossed around carelessly and stacked under other shoes it's obvious. I went to The Shoe Lab for the first time yesterday. I was greeted within seconds of walking through the door. When asked what I needed, I explained that the strap to one of my favorite handbags had snapped at the end, and I just needed a few stitches on the sewing machine. My handbag was immediately whisked away with the comment, "Let me see if he can do it for you right now." Within minutes, my handbag was returned to me looking as good as new. In addition there was NO CHARGE!! It is so rare to find customer service like this these days. Horrible experience. I showed up with a bag full of boots and shoes to be polished and conditioned. I fully completed their ticket and I kept my receipt. I was told they would be ready the following Monday. I waited until the following Wednesday to pick them up. When I showed up after waiting behind another customer for 15 minutes while she googled whether she should buy a new pair of boots (she was googling costs and vendors....shopping on line while trying to decide if she should get her boots fixed or buy a new pair) ...WHILE I WAITED.
