I saw the positive yelp reviews, so I thought, why not give it a try. My favorite boots needed new heel pads (I think that's what they are called? The rubber parts on the bottom of the high heel?). The shape of the heels are not typical. Mr. Lee took a look at them and asked how much of a hurry I was in. I wasn't, so he gave me a return date two weeks away. I just picked them up, and they are perfect. And the price was very reasonable, given how much I've paid before for people to destroy my shoes.

The business owner politely greeted me and upon learning I was new to the area, proceeded to extend a warm welcome. I knew then that I was in good hands. He then examined the sandals, complemented me and graciously suggested that stretching would be ineffective since the sandals were constructed of synthetic materials. We both shared a good laugh and I decided to return them to the seller. I commended him on his honesty and promised him that I would return with new business as needed. This last visit, I brought three pairs of pants to be hemmed. From the get-go, it was a little unnerving. I was told to try one pair of pants on with the boots I brought to ensure the correct length. The woman working rushed through the fitting and told me the two other pants will be the same length and they will be ready in a week. All three pants were different lengths and they were no where near close to fitting. My inseam is on the shorter size, 23" to 24". These pants varied in alteration from 26" to 28". I returned with the pants and also with a current pair that fit me perfectly. Measurements were done and compared and the fixes were completed without additional charge and in only a few days. These pants are now hemmed to the correct length, if not a little too short, but the quality is missing. Strings are hanging and stitching is sloppy. Proper care was not taken to ensure these pants were properly tailored for me. I won't trust this place to alter pants again and will likely not return in general.

I work for Monster Jam Traveling the country and internationally. These tradesmen boots have taken a year and a half's worth of abuse of 8 to 16 hour days, and from -20°F with snow and ice, to 110° and in the rain and mud. I was wearing them up until I bought this new pair, and they are still comfortable (with the anti-fatigue inserts). obviously after that much abuse, they've worn down the tread and some of the stitching is starting to give, but all in all they're still in good shape!

Here are some pics to show. The booties soles were starting to wear out so he redid them and the knee high boots, their soles were pealing off due to overuse (had them for 12+ year) so he took care of them! I wish I took a pic of the before so you can really appreciate the difference. Also he cleaned the upper and made the leather all shiny and healthier. It was a busy time (holidays end of the year) so it took about 3 weeks. He will let you know how long it should take , I suggest call ahead to confirm it's ready.He is the only person in his shop so be patient. It's worth it! Yelp should take down the 1 star review which has nothing to do with the quality of his business. Of course his shop is open!

I recently went to Washington DC and walked over 26,000 steps each day, over 10 miles without pain. When I was operated on I could not walk 50 feet without agonizing pain. I will not get into all the details. Dr. Musser has made my retirement so much more fun. I walk 6 miles almost every day, Play golf almost every day, etc. Follow the protocol during recovery, get a good shoe, I wear MBT with rocker technology, worth the money.
