Heck, you can throw in some games to that, as well. As someone stated in a previous review, it seems as if everyone who works there, truly loves being there. It isn't a chore, it isn't about rushing to get to the next drink preparation, they're, there to make sure you have the best experience in the place they nurture for others to enjoy. I appreciate that. Blueberry Matcha: I'm a fan, but not a fan of matcha. To explain, not everyone knows how to balance the taste of matcha. It's either way too earthy/gritty or not sweet enough, it has been rare that someone knows how to balance that combination. I have never tried a blueberry matcha and was excited to see this was one of our options. This was superb. The blueberry wasn't in syrup form, it was a blueberry foam that added the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. This is something I'd get again, and again. Too many people ruin matcha's with syrup that swims on the bottom, here, not even. Seasonal: White Chocolate Rose Scone I'll admit, I'm not a scone person. The scones I've tried in the past, were hard and flaky and that's what turned me away from there. But this scone was soft and moist, I truly enjoyed every bite. I am now open to trying others, but only at this cafe. Cheddar Chive Biscuit: My favorite. Well, my favorite is their Pepper Jack Jalapeno Biscuit, so this will be my second. I warmed it up and added a touch of butter, OOOHHWEEEE, it more than hit the spot. I can't wait to have one again. With this latest visit, I learned they alternate their biscuits monthly and they have calendars available to remind their patrons. There are several I'd love to try and thankfully, they're being served on my days off. This is such a beautiful establishment, that's inside and out.

As is my typical trial of a new place. I always order a large latte with whole milk. I do this because it gives me an idea about their coffee blend as well as how adept they are at a nice mixture between the frothy milk and the coffee. The latte at JoJo's is delicious. It is not a harsh espresso, heavy brew. It is more full bodied and smooth. It was presented well and it had wonderful coffee flavor. My wife had an iced coffee with Boba, which she enjoyed very much. She was able to customize the drink and the staff was very willing to create whatever she wanted. They didn't make a cookie cutter sort of Boba drink but rather created something special. Now to the baklava. There are a number of baklava options. Different styles and different flavors. If you love that style of pastry, then this is a place you must visit. We tried a classic piece of baklava as well as a almond variation that they create. Both were very good. A nice balance of the fluffy Filo and honey and other ingredients. It paired with our drinks perfectly. Jojo's is a place that I would recommend if you're looking for a very solid coffee based drink and some sweets to go along with it. The establishment was clean, quiet and very well kept. It had a very nice vibe to it that I could see myself curling up with a good book or taking a nap. The food was really great as well! I dont eat baklava very much, but I can honestly say that with this place so close, I will be changing that immediately. We got SO many different kinds to try and I wish I could say that I had a favorite, but they were ALL delicious! So flaky, so crispy, flavor was there. Just amazing! This place is hard to spot, which is tough for them, but if you ever find yourself close to Keller, do yourself a favor and stop by and try them out! You will not regret it! They also shared that the employee helping me was in her first week, which gave helpful context to the situation. As a kind gesture, they sent me a $10 gift card, which I thought was very thoughtful. When I came back in to use it, they recognized my name from the situation and took the time to talk with me in person and explain everything again. That really meant a lot and showed how much they care about their customers. Customer service and communication go a long way, and I'm grateful for the way they handled everything. It's a cozy spot and the coffee itself is consistently good. That said, the customer service can be hit or miss. The employees often come across as a bit unpleasant, which takes away from the experience. One thing that's especially frustrating is their refusal to allow personal cups. Almost every other coffee shop I visit is happy to accommodate this, and it doesn't require much effort, many places simply set the cup on the counter and pour the drink without even touching it. It's a small thing, but it makes a difference for customers who are trying to reduce waste or just prefer using their own cup. I really do like Melby's drinks and vibe, but improving the customer service and being a little more flexible with simple requests like personal cups would make the experience much better.

As well as the pastries I grabbed a drip coffee. The shop had two flavors: breakfast blend or a pecan. Since I love pecan coffee that is what I ordered and it is delicious. Smells and tastes like praline pecan and is smooth with little acidity. I need this flavor all the time! I'm so happy I stopped by and I look forward to my next visit.
