Whether you're working, relaxing, or catching up with a friend, it's the kind of place that invites you to stay a while. Even though I really wanted to try their coffee, I was feeling under the weather, so I went with tea instead. The staff was incredibly kind and made a great recommendation. The tea was delicious and comforting--exactly what I needed. I also got a lavender lemon scone, and it was so good--light, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to (hopefully next time for the coffee!). Great vibe, great people, and great quality all around.

I had an absolutely perfect pour over and a cheddar biscuit & my teen son had "the best scone I have ever had" lemon lavender! Even with the lines the employees were patient ( I had a tech glitch which slowed down my payment) and helpful, offering to heat my biscuit which I had not considered! Service & Quality = A winning combination! We are lucky that their coffee is served at the new lucky's corner cafe next to Ben & Jerry's in Eastham so we can enjoy it closer to the cottage & also brew here! All the options are available

Oh and the jams that go with it are outrageously good. Get the Aretha so you can sample them all. The pepper jelly is outstanding. We did manage to get the last biscuit so come early because they do run out. The rest of the pastries looked good but we didn't get a chance to try them. They even put jam in their coffee to truly live up to their name. The iced jam coffee with blueberry jam is a must. Their ice matches also look delicious. Loved the vibes of the place. They definitely nail the 3rd place community atmosphere with lots of fun decor that compliments the live music stage they have set up. They even have two small rooms for groups to gather. Note they do not encourage working out of the space and do not offer public WiFi.

I was impressed by the flavor of the biscuit, so make sure to get one of those. - my husband got the pop tart and we enjoyed it! Cons - we arrived at 10am on a weekday in August and many things were sold out - lattes were okay. I had a specialty blueberry one and it seemed like it had blueberry jam with bits of blueberries in it. Seating options for small and large group inside ranging from tables, couches and stools. One table of four outside. Parking lot has a good amount of spots but they were almost all taken and it wasn't packed inside.

I was hovering between 3 and 4 stars... of course I am going to round up!…read more Harwich Port desperately needed a cute coffee shop and Roots checks that box. It's more than a coffee shop though, they have basic dry goods, snacks, and sandwich bar. The service is just ok. The servers are working hard, but not so friendly. I know weekends especially bring a big wave of customers and it's a lot to keep up with. The coffee is ok, not great. Both times I got an iced flat white (ice latte with less milk) and the ratio was great. The only difference between the small and large iced latte is more milk, not more espresso. Baked good look very good, breakfast sandwich is just ok. Very simple, premade, warm English muffin with egg, cheese, and sausage/bacon. Their muffins are very good and they usually have an assortment of GF pastries. Nice place to stop in if you're in Harwich Port.

They were out of two different breads at 1:30 p.m. I ordered a sandwich on toasted bread. It came on untoasted, soggy bread. A simple request ... I even pointed out another sandwich when ordering 'just like that'. The cold cuts were nothing special. Cut a little too thick ... real good delis slice thin and pile on the bread. This was 3 thicker pieces of meat ... bland. No spices. The guacamole was an absolute joke. It was literally a green stain on the bread. It wasn't guacamole. It was literally like green paint. I've never seen anything like this before. I have had sandwiches with a thicker layer of mustard than this 'guacamole'. The bacon was a little rubbery and not crisp. Tasted like pre-packaged bacon. The bread was bland ... cold cuts were bland ... the only part of the sandwich which had flavour was the very spicy mayo. If you don't like hot things ... be prepared. It had a very hot pepper taste. I was surprised as that's not how the sandwich was described on the board. The store itself was staffed with tons of college kids. Attention to detail/perfection was not their forte. Nor was friendliness. The bar in the back was unstaffed i asked how to get a drink and they said you could order one. Tough to do with no bartender. I will skip this place if back in Harwichport.
