This walk up espresso bar was delightful. All of the staff we interacted with were so friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered an Americano and a cortado and they were both very good. Their espresso blend has a pretty mellow flavor. I liked their seasonal cortado, it was perfectly balanced and the cherry flavor was subtle. Since it was a nice and warm sunny day, we enjoyed our coffees on a bench out front. What a great stop in the middle of the area. read more

Last order before they closed and all 4 drinks were terrible. Latte not made to order, watered down lemonade and espresso that tasted burned. Cashier seemed annoyed or overwhelmed we wanted to order more than 1 drink. Not sure if they messed the order up on purpose or just make bad coffee. read more

Wow, this is some delicious espresso. We ordered a cappuccino and honey lavender latte. The drinks took a few minutes to come out, so we spent some time in the quaint courtyard outside, a nice little spot to take a quick breath. The cappuccino was blended so well and the coffee itself was delicious. We also tried a croissant and really enjoyed it. An oasis created by a gorgeous tree gently shading ample tables and chairs, a bench and even a kiddie table and chairs. This is the cutest little local coffee shop that there ever was. Just walking in makes you feel welcome and taken care of. Skip the chai, go for the mocha. I got a chai my first time here and just found it to really lack in flavor, but the mocha is delicious. It's not sweet, it leans on lots of dark chocolate flavor. read more

While on the Cape, good, strong coffee is hard to come by. Good espresso is even more difficult to find. If I were reviewing Snowy Owl during its first year open, I would have given it a 5. The espresso was lush, dark, toasty, and high octane. However, while I was on vacation this year, I stopped in a couple of times to grab an oat latte and it just didn't taste the same. The espresso was very weak. I'm not sure if they switched roasts or if it's simply a matter of calibrating the right amount of grounds for each shot. Also, they seem to not have an ice maker and are parsimonious with ice in their iced beverages. My iced latte was like 1/6 ice and the rest weak espresso and some watered down oat milk. The ratios were off balance. I opted for Starbucks instead for the rest of the trip. It's slightly out of the way (in Stop 'n Shop) but the consistency is really its selling point. That said, I like to support local, small businesses. And I really like that Snowy Owl owners are active and receptive to their reviews here. My hope for them is that they address and fix these minor issues. read more

Made the mistake of ordering and paying for coffee and sandwiches on line. Went to Chatham to pick up, only to find we had placed the order for Sandwich location. Our fault. Person operating the Chatham location was downright nasty. Said she don't have an order for us, then stated she doesn't accept on-line orders. Restated that a total of 3 times. Didn't offer to help. Didn't offer anything. We were able to call Sandwich location and get our order cancelled and refunded, but the woman in Chatham was so rude that we didn't bother order anything from that location. Suggest you avoid, unless you want the same treatment. Not the way to run a business, unless you want to go out of business. read more

This is a to-go spot. There are no seating besides the outdoor benches in the courtyard. I ordered a latte with milk, no sugar. Took my first sip and it was delicious- very smooth, well-balanced, and non-bitter. I normally take my time sipping on my coffee but I couldn't stop sipping on this. I ended up finishing the coffee much quicker than I normally would and was tempted to order a second cup. This coffee was definitely a splurge but it was a nice treat while on vacation. There are many good coffee spots in Cape Cod, but a GREAT cup of coffee is hard to find. P.S. Excellent coffee but get there early! There can be a wait. A bit disappointed as they have a very limited selection of pastries - in contrast to the Brewster location. But it's inevitable as the spot they have is small and kiosk-like. If a nice day there is some limited spots to sit in the courtyard, but this is mostly a grab and go location for coffee. I really enjoyed the setting of this little coffee shop, which looks like it is in a secret compartment not unlike some thing from an English science fiction movie I might pop up somewhere else the minute you blink. There is a beautiful outdoor tree area that you can sit around and be comfortable while you drink your coffee, or simply walk up town. This particular coffee is not the type of coffee that I personally like the taste of. It has a very sweet smell to it, and tastes strongly of Something I can't put my fingers on, but it is definitely a type of roasting process that other roasters use. The Roost in Northampton Ma Uses something called Ginme! coffee medium roast beans Which taste very similar, and just doesn't jive with my stomach. So, everything here is wonderful, and the barista's are friendly, but it's just not a taste I particularly like. I definitely like something that has an earthy nutty tone to it and this is very fruity. I will definitely invite you to try this, but if you are a big fan of the Starbucks"burnt coffee" flavor, this will not be for you. read more

I forgot to review this place last summer when we visited Chatham. This was the best coffee/latte and matcha we had in a very long time. So much so that I went back in to tell them. I told them they were too hidden.. We just happened to find it since we were walking to find a little courtyard to rest in the heat. They told me they had recently opened and I told them they are one of the reasons we would return to Chatham, as their beverages were better than any NYC cafe.
