We decided to make a staycation out of it by booking a room and enjoying the bar and restaurants. NO REGRETS! If every San Antonian knew about this place, nobody out of town would ever get in! Our experience began with the greeting from the front desk clerk desk attendant, Jacob. He was awesome! Super attentive to our needs, friendly, and personable. At the spa, Our massage therapists were top rate! Roxi and Sera were very responsive to our aches and pains. We came in wound up and left ready to relax. Back at the hotel, the bar tenders are definitely skilled mixologists. Eric makes a mean Manhattan, his specialty is an old fashioned, but I saw everyone enjoying all the other drinks he made as well! Antlers Lodge is something special! The chef, Joseph Lambert, and his staff at the restaurant are masters of their craft! So humble but so masterful. The food was as top flight as any restaurant we have had in at the best New York restaurants or abroad... and this place truly represents San Antonio at its elevated best.

If you're the type to laze by a river, and you've already got a room here, absolutely check it out, BUT dont spend 75/piece to tan here. If youre not taking kids don't do it! You do not get access to where you can actually swim, nothing gets deeper than 3 feet. You do not get access to the new "lagoon" area. There are no changing rooms, and only 2 restrooms for all the people there. If you dont want to trek your wet self through the lobby to your car, you'll be changing in 1 of the restroom stalls. If you are taking kids, trust me.....get the sea world passes and a meal pass, the cost is the same and everyone will have a lot more fun!!!

I was waiting in line for the restroom in SAKE when a girl pointed out to a friend and I that "this guy has a girls wallet, I think he stole it!". I tried reporting a man that was going through a Kate Spade wallet in a back corner next to the women's restroom in Sake. I reported it to bartender "A". Bartender "A" then pointed me out to the guy I reported saying that I reported the guy. THE GUY NEVER ASKED BARTENDER "A" WHO WAS REPORTING HIM, THE BARTENDER WILLING POINTED ME OUT, 2 FEET AWAY, NUMEROUS TIMES TO THE GUY THAT I WAS THE PERSON WHO REPORTED HIM. I was then accused of lying and trying to create a a problem, even though 4 other people saw it, by the guy who I was trying to bring attention to. The guy who had the kate spade wallet then came straight up to me, acting like I was trying to fight him as he said "you want to post up", when I was waiting in line for the restroom. I did report him, because no guy who wears sweat pants has a white colored Kate Spade wallet wristlet. When I was inline to use the restroom, a bartender from the vault (a very nice woman) had come to stand in line with us. I told her everything that had just happened, and she wanted me to point out bartender "A" to her so that she could say something. She agreed with me that the situation was not handled correctly She even apologized on his behalf and wanted to make sure she spoke with him. As we were trying to leave after using the restroom, Bartender "A" got in my face, AS HE STRETCHED HIS BODY OVER THE BAR to shove me to get my attention, to yell in my face as the female bartender was repeatedly telling him to leave me alone. I tried explaining myself telling him "I understand you're not the police, but you put myself and my friend at risk as your friend tried to post up to us". (The bartender admitted him and this guy were friends as he was yelling over me). When I tried sticking up for myself, another bartender "B" came up asking me if I had a problem (I appreciate them having each other's backs). I explained the situation to bartender B how bartender A told the guy who had a Kate Spade wallet that I was the person who reported him. Bartender B seemed to be listening and understanding, but I gave up half way through since Bartender A was still trying to yell at/over me. I told bartender B we will not be coming back. Bartender A was wearing a beanie this night, This all took place on January 13th from 1:30-1:50 AM if you as the manager/owner want to look on the cameras, We WILL NOT be going back, and I suggest you do not go either if you care about your safety and whether or not you think SAKE "cares" about it's customer's safety.

My stay at La Cantera Resort was pleasant, and I checked out with a final folio that balanced correctly. However, after checkout, two additional charges totaling $271.01 appeared on my credit card. Neither charge appears on my final folio. Since discovering the charges, I have contacted the resort multiple times and opened a case with Hilton Guest Assistance. On several occasions, I was told someone would contact me within 24 hours. No one did. Most recently, Hilton informed me they have been unable to obtain a response from the resort regarding the disputed charges. I have no issue with the charges I knowingly incurred during my stay, as those match my receipts and records. My concern is with the unexplained charges and the lack of response despite weeks of follow-up. I encourage guests to carefully review their credit card statements after their stay and compare them to their final folio.

Shame that people cant follow rules and leave phones away. When the show was over, it became the only words can be CLUSTER F---, while the shows first customers were trying to leave the theater, the Majestic thought it a good idea to allow the 2nd shows customers inside the theater. Pushing out the 1st shows customers out side and back doors only to line up around the block to get our phones unlocked. This left many people so far from valet parking and not sure which way to go. My husband booked this hotel because of its convenient location, close to the River Walk and Alamo and most important, its in a very old and full of history building. We both really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean with the most comfortable beds and pillows and the very fun and convenient breakfasts and dinners/drinks. The beds and pillows were so comfy, we slept for almost 12 hours our first night... The foods, buffet style, were good, with many options. (They are comfort foods, if you expect high-end kind, it's not for you...) The customer services were what we appreciated and enjoyed the most. All of the staff, from the front desk hosts, to the managers, bartender (Annette), food service group... everyone was so friendly, nice, and welcoming. *The only "issue" that we experienced was the super loud, seemed like hours long, of car honkings, engines noice... of 1 night. But it wasn't the hotel's problem. The home team, The Spurs, won the game and the city was celebrating... Highly recommend this hotel and the services here... Thanks for showing us, the out-of-towners, the warm and hospitality of San Antonio/Texans that we heard so often before...
