The place was a bit tricky to find as it is on the second floor in the back of the Ralphs plaza but there is plenty of free parking! I've been here two times and I have nothing, but great things to say. Kristen goes above and beyond and has saved my face. My skin glows after my facials and my eyebrows are always shaped perfectly. Have purchased other Groupon facials where essentially I got a really good face washing and not much else. After years of struggling with cystic acne and blackheads, I discovered Kristen and her magical microdermabrasion and facials! After consistent treatments, my skin is finally looking better and I'm wearing less makeup...Yay! Now, she has introduced me to the magic of eye brow waxing and tinting. It makes such a difference in my make-up and beauty routine...who knew?! I've seen some crazy eye brows around town so was pretty hesitant at first but she makes them look very natural and just clean and defined. L I love it. She taught me how to use the pencil to do touch ups in between services, too. She's a tiny shop on the second floor of a shopping center so you have to schedule with her ahead of time and she schedules you in and gives you undivided attention. It's awesome. Even though she's a bit further from me then many other salons, I much prefer to go to her as I have a better experience than I have had at some of those large salons. Kristen, the owner, is a lovely person but when you use Freeman products, the ones you can buy at the drug store for $3-$4 with petrolatum you are going to walk out with pores larger than when you walked in. I went to Kristin for the first time 2 weeks ago after purchasing a Living Social and I am BEYOND satisfied with the facial results!!! She did an AMAZING and thorough job and was so nice and comforting. Her studio is super cute and relaxing and she talks you through every step of the facial from what products she is using and why, what she is extracting, what she recommends, etc. I was super hesitant to get a facial again (especially with someone new) because I have had the most awful experiences in the past with extractions! She was very aware of my concerns and did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable. She cleaned my face and removed all blackheads, knew what to mess with and what to leave be. I can honestly say that the facial Kristin gave me was the worst I have had. I have a few clear moles on my face and she tried to extract them as if they were pimples! The rest of the facial was just so-so, no real exfoliation was done. I don't think she has had enough training. Also, I understand that retail space is expensive but the location of her biz is in the back of an office complex that is almost entirely deserted, I didn't feel totally safe there especially when she had to leave me alone to go to the restroom down the hall for water. I was given a voucher as a gift for a facial. my sister bought it from groupon. I have not been able to use it bEcause I cant get an appt until 2 months out. I originally sent Kristen a text as instructed from her voice mail greeting and did not get a response for days. Once I finally got a response she said did not have the day I requested available. I responded with another text and requested a different day and again did not get a response for days. Finally she responded and was like " no Im booked that day to".
