I genuinely do not know where to begin with my experience at Skintique, but I feel compelled to write this so that other people can make informed decisions before booking here. What was supposed to be a routine facial turned into one of the most uncomfortable, disappointing, and frankly shocking customer service experiences I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, something felt off. I was greeted by Jackie, whose demeanor immediately came across as rushed and irritated, as though my appointment was an inconvenience rather than a scheduled commitment. I tried to brush it off and assume maybe it was just a busy day. Unfortunately, things only went downhill from there. Before starting the service, I clearly explained that I wanted a facial. I repeated myself more than once to make sure there was no confusion. I even asked if what I was requesting was possible, and I was assured it would not be a problem. That reassurance turned out to mean absolutely nothing. During the appointment, I noticed that and I noticed scars (that I later found out were PERMANENT). I politely pointed it out, thinking it could easily be corrected. Instead of listening, Jackie dismissed my concerns and insisted that everything was "normal." It did not feel normal. It felt careless. At one point, when I asked for something as simple as some lotion for my hands, I was met with visible frustration. Jacqueline actually sighed and responded in a tone that made it clear I was being perceived as difficult simply for asking a reasonable question about my own service. I have never felt so uncomfortable advocating for myself in a professional setting. The worst part, however, was the final result. What I specifically asked to avoid scars, and dry skin is exactly what happened. It was the complete opposite of what I had described. I left the appointment feeling embarrassed, upset, and genuinely stunned at how little care had been taken. When I tried to express my disappointment calmly at the front desk, the situation only escalated. Rather than apologizing or offering any form of resolution, I felt subtly blamed for "miscommunication." There was no accountability. No empathy. No effort to make things right. Just defensiveness. Customer service is not just about performing a service; it's about listening, respecting boundaries, and treating clients with basic courtesy. At Skintique, I experienced none of that. I experienced dismissiveness, poor communication, and a level of unprofessionalism that I honestly did not think was possible in a business that depends on repeat clients. I rarely write negative reviews. In fact, I usually give businesses the benefit of the doubt. But this experience was so deeply disappointing that I would feel irresponsible staying silent. I would strongly encourage anyone considering facial here to think carefully and ask very detailed questions before committing. I left feeling worse than when I walked in -- and that should never be the outcome of a service that is supposed to help you feel confident and cared for. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously. No client should leave feeling unheard, uncomfortable, or regretful. One star is generous. read more

The service was really slow it took 3 hours to even start my skin waxing and the quality was poor it was terrible

Jackie was wonderful! She has the best spa voice (very relaxing), she is super nice, and provides an AMAZING facial! Before we (3 friends) we're going to get our facials, she provided us with refreshments (fruits, chocolates, & bubbly) and a lovely foot soak before we headed in for an amazing and relaxing facial and foot massage! It was the best way to enjoy our vacation together! I recommend Jackie to everyone! read more

I visited the Skintique while I was in town to see family nearby. I had an incredible massage with Dan, followed by a Lotus Ultrasonic facial with LED therapy and lymphatic drainage with Jackie. Dan listened to my massage preferences and tailored my massage so that I was able to have the relaxation of a total body massage as well as relief to my problem areas, which Dan gave extra attention to without neglecting the rest of my body. When it was time to head into my facial, Dan gave me advice on how to maintain my results so that I didn't go right back to being stiff and sore. I was given the time I needed to have some water and re-center before being taken into another beautiful room where Jackie provided the same amazing service. She listened and took into consideration how I felt about my skin while also explaining what she was seeing from the perspective of someone with her expertise. She instantly put me back into the relaxed state I was in during my massage using breath work and aromatherapy. From there she did the most detailed lymphatic drainage I've ever received in a facial service. I could feel the fluid responsible for the puffiness in my face and neck leaving my body - it was so satisfying. I think my favorite part of the facial was the pore extractions because Jackie used a stainless steel ultrasonic skin scrubber, which I had never heard of, and not only did it feel great on my skin, but it literally cleared every single one of pores. I couldn't believe how well it worked because I'm used to estheticians manually digging into my skin, even after HydraFacials, which is always uncomfortable and would leave my skin very red. I don't think I've ever gotten this level of results from those methods, and I'm so glad I know that there is a better, more comfortable option to achieve clear pores! I highly recommend the ultrasonic facial for this reason alone. Some other highlights of the facial were the LED light therapy add-on, neck and scalp massage, and the refreshing cool steam used towards the end which sealed everything up so nicely. Jackie is so knowledgeable about skincare and answered all of my questions throughout the process. I felt like I was taken care of the second I walked into the spa, and didn't feel like I was being pushed to purchase products or spend extra money which I really appreciate when visiting spas and salons. I highly recommend checking out the Skintique, whether that's to have a massage with Dan or esthetic services with Jackie, or the other members of her amazing team. Finding Jackie has been an absolute Godsend! BEST facial I've ever received!!! I had my first facial about 15 years ago. Since then, I've been looking for my perfect artist. Jackie's facial felt so relaxing. I felt like I almost melted into the table. It's as if I am her canvas and she channels the serenity and perfect strokes of Bob Ross. I decided last minute to treat myself for my birthday. Every year I wait til last minute to book something and every year I say why don't I do this more often? We get so busy or feel guilty spending extra money on these types of things. But we are so worth it. Today I booked a bodywork massage with Gia and I can't even begin to tell you how amazing she was. So professional so kind and so talented at what she does. She relaxed every tired muscle in my body. I left there feeling like complete jelly.
