She focused on my Brazilian area for about 30 mins continuously applying wax over and over again. I asked her if my skin was red or bleeding and she told me no, but the moment i sat up to look my whole Brazilian area was very red and bumpy from the pain and amount of time she went over it. Normally when someone is doing a Brazilian on me, it takes about 5-7 mins if that. I've never experienced a wax session this bad. And on top of all that, she couldn't finish because she felt uncomfortable to do so with is understandable, but the fact that i am literally getting on a plane to Mexico tomorrow is a HUGE inconvenience to me! Now im forced to shave the body parts she didn't get to. I haven't shaved in 3 years because I am a consistent waxer. The fact i have to shave the rest is utterly disappointing and frustrating. I started waxing my brows at the age of 13, and after years and years of follicle damage I stopped getting ANY work on my brows for the past few years and still had to fill them in with tinted brow gel and pencil. They are naturally asymmetrical and I am so nervous to let anyone touch my brows. A good friend took me in just to sit by as she got HER brows threaded and tinted, and just witnessing my friend's beautiful brows and how friendly and talented Renu is, I decided to give it a shot after more than 2 years. The technician told me she was finished and asked me to look in the mirror, but the entire appointment was completed in only 45 minutes. I was surprised that a $288 lash extension service could be finished so quickly. I wasn't happy with the design, so I asked her to make some adjustments. The direction of some of the lashes still didn't look right, but I decided to leave because I didn't think making further changes would improve the result. For the price, I honestly didn't feel that the design or application was done well. I also noticed that my eyes felt uncomfortable every time I blinked after the extensions were applied. I thought it might just be because it was my first day, so I tried to tolerate it, but the discomfort continued. I was told the extensions would last around 4-6 weeks, but mine started falling out the very next day. Even though they were already falling out, my eyes were still uncomfortable whenever I blinked, so I eventually had to go to another lash salon to have all of the extensions removed. I feel like I completely wasted $288. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.
