She acted very unprofessionally with her Trump-like tantrum and said I should pick up my paperwork. So caught in her second lie - why is my paperwork lying around and not submitted? The AAA employee (insurance agent?} listened to my concerns but told me too bad, it is what it is. The "snapshot" discount for safe driving is anything but a snapshot. It is a personal tracker and agreement allow AAA to sell your personal location data & trends for more than 3/4 of the year. It kills your cell phone battery as it is always searching for the slightest movement. All of this and you MIGHT be offered a 10% discount when you renew. They even track and deduct points for when I am on my bicycle and stop to take photos or change the music. The "agent" told me "How are we supposed to know?", if you are moving you are scored. They of course don't insure my bicycle or trips on it, public transit, my Uber driver.... Remember when a 20-year driving record with no tickets or accidents was good enough to indicate that you were a safe driver and insurable, those days are gone. Personal data sales apparently informs them more than your credit score, insurance score, and DMV print out. Don't bother calling the "MySafeDrive" app either. Their answer to all questions is "You can always cancel and be charged more." How about I cancel and go back to a car insurance company that doesn't sell my personal information to the highest bidder? I wonder what AAA is doing to people that buy travel through them? Luggage trackers? Sell your travel photos and plans?

I just moved from California and I made an online appt for the Double Diamond Pkwy location. I chose the DL/vehicle multi appointment. Scheduling the appointment online was easy and I for multiple reminders via text and email for my appt. On the day of my appt (which I made for 8:00 am) I showed up 10 minutes early and lines were already forming. They were split into an appointment and non appointment line. Representatives came out 5 minutes before opening to make sure people were in the right lines, had correct forms and to ask everyone with appts to check in via the text that came through. The text message gave you the option to press 2 stating that you had arrived for your appt. They told us once we checked in to take a seat in the lobby. The facility was very clean and quite spacious. I only had to wait about 5 minutes before my name was called over an intercom and told me what window to proceed to. My worker was very nice, patient and helpful. I was able to get my NV license ($41) and register my car and get NV plates. Check the DMV website before your appt as they have many helpful links to inform you of what documents are needed for each service. Things to note: VIN inspections need to be completed before your appt. These can be done without an appt. Just make sure you have your registration.

The gal took my photo, then sent me to the front desk to get a print out and the instructions to download your photo, it wasn't working for me so I ask the women, if she could help me. I did pay $20 for service. She gave me the picture and I went to my car to start the renewal process on line. The photo would not save to my phone. I went back in and the girl who took the photo helped me put it in my photo gallery and also emailed the photo to me. Now back at the car, the photo is not accepted by government standards, back in to AAA I go! The gal said I'll take another picture, your hair needs to be behind your ears - ok. She helps me get my photo again, then I waited in the office to upload my photo again and it's not accepted. Now, the gal has disappeared and I talk to Steve this is the third person I have dealt with on my photo journey! He says, you have to download the photo, I said both of your staff members did that for me. Well you have a picture with words on it, I said this is what your staff gave me! So he takers my phone and somehow downloads the photo without words. I said how did you do that? He said "we provide you the access, you need to do it yourself", I said I paid you $20 I expected service to go with my picture! It's the worst set up ever! I would highly recommend rethinking your process especially if your own staff can't download the picture correctly! Glad I didn't buy the membership!

While sitting there I heard conversations about a range of free with a voucher to $40 and up to $80 for a simple electronic transmission of prints. The service took just over 25 minutes from walking in to registering, paying and then getting printed. The DISGRACE was the payment tablet actually asked for a tip of 15 to 25%. Really? The actual fingerprinting takes about 5 minutes and is transmitted electronically. That is the whole "service". Nearly ALL instances of getting fingerprints is a "requirement" for a job or volunteer situation. A tip, really? Not to mention that they have signed contracts with agencies for the exclusive and mandatory "service". So people cannot opt to go to RPD, SPD or the Sheriff's office where the fees are less than half the price and it would be illegal to accept a tip. I wonder if State regulators like the Nevada Gaming Control Board are aware that this business is soliciting tips from casino workers? Or if they share the tips with the agencies leadership?
