Visiting Idllywild for a nice getaway from the city and came across this gem. Let me tell you, this place is so neat and just good feel ingredients for your body. My husband and I bought soaps, lotions, a rubber ducky (lol) and some other self-care items. The owners are so welcoming and gave me a baby Jesus! Love this store and totally recommend! This place is great. My husband and I both got a few things. My husband purchased a beautiful shaving set and is so happy with it. He accidentally dropped the razor and broke the top off. They were quick to respond and ship him a replacement piece. Great shop and amazing customer service.

My wife and I have been twice now and we've had great customer service both times. The store provides bath and aroma products that are all organic and natural to avoid harmful ingredients. They also sale handcrafted shaving and grooming sets that are beautiful and perfect for gifts. I got a hand turned razor here last year and I use it to this day. The owners are so genuine and show they care about making quality products for their customers. I highly recommend!

Came up here for the Weekend to Camp and stopped by the little downtown area and came across this cute little shop. As you enter you smell lots of delicious soaps and other goodies. Love that these are handmade and honestly makes it even more special knowing the ingredients are clean and such a perfect gift if you ask me. Love that they have different brands that are clean and simple as well they had these tablets that are toothpaste and mouthwash and snagged a few of those. I also loved that they had a refillable station of soaps, detergent and other fun stuff that can be used around the house. My kind store for sure. Love that they even had a selection for men with some very neat razors and after shave crème and all perfect store to snag something for all. Can't wait to come back and grab a few more items. Lots of pretty soap bars in here. There was a cabinet against the wall that had so many body butters. The woman in the shop makes them. She let me smell a few so I tried mango, coffee and one more. I bought 3 jars of body butter and a tiny wooden spoon to scoop out body scrubs. read more

Idyllwild is always a beautiful place to visit and The Soapy Shed is in a Great location. Everything in there looks good and most of it is handmade. Even the shaving kits and phone kickstands. I had to limit myself or would have got so much more. The owner takes her time to explain the products and use. I will be back there for sure! Tucked away in a quiet, tree shaded nook, The Soapy Shed is a hidden gem. The interior is reminiscent of a little farmhouse or cottage, with walls and shelves neatly stocked with all manner of wonderful smelling products being sold at fair prices. My little sister got two lavender scented shower steamers, each decently sized and sold for around $6 a piece. The kindly man behind the counter gave her tips on how to get the most uses out of them and included a free sample of their excellent smelling lavender body butter. Highly recommend this place to anyone fond of skincare or natural smelling candles and linen spray. read more
