Wow! Just finished a double-feature at Desert Serenity and can't remember feeling so relaxed. The Float experience was heaven and set the stage for a 90-minute massage with Linda, who is a domain expert. She might be the best I've experienced in deep tissue and she provided informative tips and suggestions about my alignment that will be beneficial for future maintenance. The spa was clean and they took extra precautions to maintain compliance during the pandemic. I would recommend this place to anyone and plan to visit next time I return to the area.

We came in for a couples float and it was absolutely amazing ! One of the most relaxing and rejuvenation experiences! Highly recommend for couples or singles. If you want to relax and unwind than this is the place for you

Parking was super convenient & easy!

I have been dealing with the worst sciatic pain for 3 weeks! Left me unable to walk correctly, sit comfortably or sleep. I went in to float which was such an amazing peaceful experience. After my float session I got the Swedish massage by Isela. All I have to say is she must have been an angel sent from heaven. I was finally able to walk, sit & sleep after 3 weeks of consistent pain. I have another session with the lovely Isela to combat the last of my sciatic issues however I am no longer in pain, just discomfort. I will continue to visit desert serenity float & spa for as long as I am breathing! I can't not express my gratitude more for this business & the help it has provided me. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Amazing experience wonderful staff. The facility is a bit difficult to find. Overall I would recommend.

This is one of the float pods at Desert Serenity Float & Spa, which is in a private room... so you can wear your birthday suit :)

Ask the Community - Desert Serenity Float & Spa

Hello, what is a float spa? They are 4 girls and some might want a facial or massage. Do you guys offer that?

Hi Hannah: we offer floatation therapy and spa services. Massage, facials, infrared sauna, Endermologie. We are an indoor facility.

Are your couples floats together or in separate pods?

Hello. The couples float is together in a 2 person float cabin, in the same room.

How much is a package for a 60 min massage and 60 min float?

Hello. All of our services are a la carte. Check our website for any current specials.

Is this safe for nursing mother's?

Absolutely. You are floating in a solution of water and Epsom salt.

I am only 12 years old, can I float?

Hi Ryann: we have a minimum age requirement of 16 to float at our spa. Thank you for asking.

10/10 would go back…read more I really enjoyed my experience at this spa. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were clean, relaxing, and enjoyable. Here's how to make the most of your visit with a Day Pass: Pack a tote bag with swim suit, dry clothing, fresh undergarments Mock Up Itinerary: Arrive by 12-1 pm, Leave by 6-6:30 pm Dry Services: 12:15-1 pm I recommend starting off at the Salt Cave for 30-40 minutes, then going into the Mind-Sync area where they have meditation and relaxation. Wet Services: 1:10-1:50 pm saunas first, then rinse off Sauna Tip: I always start with dry then go to wet spending 15 minutes in each one. 1:55-2:15 pm *Depending on what slot is available upon checking in, you can book 15 min Hot Mineral Water bath which was my favorite. Be ready in the waiting area 5-10 MIN before your appointment because they will not go around looking for you!! 2:30-3:30 pm Hit the pool. They also have mineral water pools outdoors no appointment needed. 3:30 Shower 3:45 Snack/Gym. I didn't do it but you might as well. 4:00 Go BACK to Mind Sync and try something new Additional Comments: Price: $160 pp (holiday upcharge) / I do not know the regular price but I believe it's $130 on weekdays Spa: women's spa area was a bit busy with groups of ladies. The hair products were running low, lotion as well. Showers around 6:30 pm were in busy rotation and some ladies had to wait for a shower. Visitors/People: Some visitors do come in groups and might not follow spa etiquette in terms of using their quiet voices but that's outside of the actual spas control and is a result of visiting on a holiday like I did. Check out: Can get a bit crammed up during the holiday weekend (I visited memorial weekend) so be mindful there are 3-4 people behind the counter and if you try to leave 10 minutes before they close you may be stuck waiting 10-15 minutes. I suggest planning to leave and checkout by 6:15 pm Meditation Area: The blankets in the mind sync area are very soft however they are reused so once you're done the staff will fold it and place it back onto the chair. They have headphones and they offer headphones covers for sanitary purposes, which is great. Food: They have a cafe and a food service window by the pool area. I did not have the chance to try the food on site. You can also probably bring your own bev/snacks. They have oranges and nuts on site from what I remember.

I wasn't aware how great a day spa pass can be! For this holiday weekend, all services were fully…read morebooked but that is not a problem at spa Sec-he. We easily spent most of the day here enjoying all of the amenities they have to offer. The day pass is not cheap - $165 per person but you do get to enjoy quite a bit of options. The star of the show for me was the grounding room where I was transported nearly out of body while laying on a vibrating chair with a warm electric blanket and headphones. The mineral bath was nice but a little hot for my taste and the the salt cave didn't quite feel salty enough for my taste but overall an incredible experience. The staff works very hard to accommodate every request and the aromatherapy towels helped me endure the sauna and steam rooms.

Well in middle-age, floating has been a necessary and therapeutic service that allows me to continue to stay active, reduce stress, and recover. Upon my last visit, I was informed of the new contrast service. I have never cold plunged before. I regularly utilize the cryo tank at least 4 times a year, so I thought why not? I was a little nervous, but the contrast room has the perfect aesthetic, and the combination of the dry sauna and cold plunge was AMAZING! The cold plunge is not for the faint at heart, but after researching the many benefits, well worth it! After my session, I immediately felt the differences. My body is still reaping the benefits well in 48 hours. I floated first, then did the contrast. For me, my dream recovery and refocus services for mind, body, and spirit! Great job, Float State! My only small disappointment, I miss the old staff and their genuine rapport and personalities. When I came in, they new my name and I felt like family. Now, I just feel like a number. No one is rude or unpleasant, their body language and conversation is just low effort. There are a couple of individuals I know by name, but the enthusiasm isn't the same. Like I said, this is relatively small and by no means takes away from the experience.

You go into an individual pod filled with water super-saturated with epsom salt that's set to a temperature of 95 degrees which is equivalent to human skin temperature. The benefits of using these pods are for relaxation, reduction of pain and inflammation, and stress relief. Once you're in, you basically float in zero gravity. It's hard not to fall asleep because it's so relaxing haha! Customer service was excellent. The young lady helping us was friendly and efficient. It was very easy to book over the phone. You have to call them to get into and out of the parking garage but someone always picked up the phone. The pods were clean and the shower stocked with all essentials including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and towel. Some tips: - come dressed in casual clothes and sandals so you can use in the shower and in and out of the pod - bring a brush to comb your hair after (they have a hair dryer there) - put in the moldable plugs before you go into the shower and pod to ensure they are tightly in Would definitely recommend everyone experience this at least once! I got into my float tank and something felt off. I got out mid-session and started looking around. What I found and documented with approximately 40 photographs was one of the most unsanitary commercial facilities I have ever seen in my life. There was visible black mold growing inside the float tank itself. On the lid seam. On the interior walls. On the door seal. This is the enclosed space that customers pay to lie inside and breathe recycled air for up to 90 minutes. The shower rooms had black mold covering the grout on every wall, every floor, and every corner. The ceiling panels had rust bleeding through them. The HVAC vent had visible mold and rust buildup on the filter screen, which means contaminated air is being actively circulated to every room in the building. The walls had paint blistering and bubbling off, which is what happens when moisture and mold are growing behind the wall surface, not just on it. When I contacted the business and requested a refund, they told me that what I photographed was not mold and was not dangerous. They refused to issue a refund. I have filed a formal complaint with the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health requesting an immediate inspection and suspension of operations until professional mold remediation is completed and the facility passes reinspection. I have also disputed the charge with my bank.
