They were able to schedule an appointment within a couple of weeks. When I went in for my appointment, the office was clean, the staff was knowledgeable, and Brittany was very kind. She answered all my questions, and gave me tips on what I need to do to reduce scarring. She was able to remove the mold the same day. It's been about a month since the mole was removed, and it is healing so well! Just a little bit of redness, and I really think the scar will be very minimal! I did not use insurance for this procedure, and I thought the costs were very reasonable and fair. For any additional dermatology needs, I will make my way back to this center.

I've wanted this surgery all my life, ignoring the upper half of my body in all aspects, but I'm scared of change. Even if I'm not content with something, the unknown is very scary for me. From the very beginning, MaKael has been my rock. She is incredibly informative and never once made me feel rushed or judged. I tend to overthink and stress myself out with endless Google searches, but she calmed me a million times over. She was quick to respond (even calling me on her day off when I was anxious) and always gave me clear, honest answers without fluff. She has a way of articulating exactly what I was thinking and truly held my hand through the process, both figuratively and literally. I came in 3-4 times for sizing because I just couldn't make a decision, and she never once lost patience. She took all the time I needed and made me feel completely at ease. Honestly, she is the reason this process has been so easy and reassuring. Aja, the pre-op assistant, has also been wonderful. She called me multiple times before surgery to go over the process, and when we met in person, she was just as lovely, warm, and reassuring. The instructions she gave me to prepare for surgery were so simple, clear, and easy to follow that I felt confident and ready instead of overwhelmed. I also appreciate that I was able to meet with the doctor multiple times before surgery. He was consistently honest, confident, and realistic with my expectations. What I love most is that I still get to sit down with him one final time before surgery to discuss sizing and details again. Nothing has ever felt rushed. I'm admittedly the classic indecisive patient, not about having surgery itself, but about what would best fit my frame, and they have gone above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable with every decision. On top of that, I normally go to a med spa in Orange County for my Botox and fillers, and when I mentioned I was considering this surgeon, they immediately knew of him and reassured me that I was making a great choice. That outside validation gave me even more confidence moving forward. If you are even considering a procedure, even if you aren't sure, I can't recommend this team enough. Having people like MaKael supporting you makes all the difference. She has turned what could have been a stressful, intimidating journey into one where I feel cared for, understood, and completely confident. I will update this review with my recovery and results in a few weeks, and again in a few months once everything has settled. I can hear for a little filler for my birthday, I just wanted to look a little lifted. I received an appointment with a nurse who was clearly very busy, no shade. I had originally intended to spend $600 on myself, it was specifically set aside as I keep a very tight budgeting for my expenses. (much like anyone else, I have responsibilities). During my appointment my nurse evaluated what I wanted and then proceeded to inject, blowing past my inquiry in regard to what I would be charged. I was charged $1200, and unfortunately I had spoken to someone over the phone later who emphasized with my problem, offered me a skincare treatment, and then never got back to me. I'm disappointed that this office that I very much enjoyed and appreciated didn't handle this in a more honest, and professional manner.

I love this little shop in a strip mall in Palm Desert. It is next to Harvest Health Food. I was getting some groceries when I was visiting the desert and saw their sign and had to check it out. I went in and it looks like a high end deli or ice cream shop. Kind of modern and fresh colors, but WOW it smelt fresh! Not like those nasty places in the mall that choke you half to death, this place smelled fresh, healthy and just really good. I had a young guy help me that was wearing a cool hat and apron. He was very good at explaining everything and it he loaded me up with samples. I was really happy to try everything before I committed to buying. I tried the samples and I fell in love with almost everything. The Blueberry Facial Wash was incredible left my skin so soft. The Light Facial Emulsion was the perfect texture for my combination skin. And this sprouted greens shampoo and conditioner was out of this world, left my hair so soft and shiny. Their Rose Cream was too rich for me, but smelled really good. I am hooked, I now order from their website. I wish they had a store out in LA. Truly a find, this raw, organic skin care is really unlike most everything I have tried. Can't wait until my next trip to the desert. read more

That was unrealistic thinking because there are just too many individual products and brands, I suppose. The store is beautiful and is minimalist in design and which gives clean vibes and natural energy. There are a multitude of glass containers to buy and products can be poured in from larger containers, with very reasonable prices for the products themselves. The store smelled wonderful with their soaps in the bins doing the talking. I chose not to purchase anything because for me, it would mean abandoning the brands I love to take a chance on entirely different products that I just wasn't willing to make a leap for. I get that their products are more natural with less chemicals, which is a great thing. But for me, I will keep on the lookout for someday finding a store that refills brand name products to reduce the plastic waste in my environmental footprint.
