I left a bad review and they called saying that we get a 30 day supply of meds, and we then needed to find a new doctor? I said we because they cut my husband off also. The reason given was that Dr Rachman does not have a license to practice in CO which is where we're are. They are in IL we are in CO I get it, except we moved here 6 years ago and they finally decide the day after a bad yet very accurate review that this is an issue???? The front desk over the years has yelled at me, belittled me, made me cry, told me a mentally ill person that I was taking to much medicine and they were going to talk to my doctor about me crying?? I am mentally ill, yes, which is why you don't hire rude, impatient, controversially, insensitive, etc, etc, etc people to run the front of the house. Actually one of those unkind ladies is the owner wife. I always forget that part. She likes to leave 5 star reviews for their practice. I have nothing to say about the doctors or therapist that work there. But they need to know who is dealing with their patients. Although Dr Lendvay, the owner of the practice must know his wife right?? Which means they don't care about patients because why would he ever let her deal with the public, let alone mentally ill yet vulnerable people. It is hard enough to ask for help and then be verbally abused by the front desk? Please if you read this and need help, please don't stop here. 10yrs I was with Dr Rachman and like that the front office cut me off, not the doctor. Look me up I have left 4 reviews in my life, 3 of which are about Proactive Behavioral Services. I didn't get out of bed for days when you refused to refill my prescription one time. That is the care they provide.

My boys are all grown men now, ages 18 - 22, they are intelligent professionals and have often told me how guilty they feel about how things "went down" during my divorce. They have repeatedly asked me if they could speak to David to, "clear the air", but I told them it is not worth it nor is he. David gave my ex full custody despite mountains of evidence that was ignored. This isn't about a winner or loser, it is about listening and caring. Clearly this man is in it for the money. My boys moved out of their mothers house and live with me. The damage David and his cohorts did is unspeakable. Divorce is hard enough without having people like this pray upon vulnerable and scared children. In my opinion, do your homework, read reviews, ask questions but steer clear of this fraud. It is shameful.

But unfortunately we…read morehad to part ways because she became accusatory and caustic towards me, when I was specifically seeking help in parenting with a difficult ex. It really came as a shock. After that, I was afraid of seeking her guidance. So while 90% of times she was helpful, the unpredictable snaps made it very hard for me to continue on relaying information to help my daughter. She also doesn't take feedback well unless it's exactly what she expects to hear. For example my daughter told me she didn't enjoy therapy and when I told her that she automatically pointed the finger at me and said that I had caused it to happen. In fact I never even blamed her for that. I very much just wanted her to know that and it could be simply because therapy brought up issues my daughter wasn't ready to confront within herself yet. I just hope Dr March can understand that the way in which you communicate to parents matters. We are people too. We seek you out because we want what's best for our kids. We are not perfect but neither is anyone. Aside from this, she's smart and caring and I wish all the best for her and all the children she helps support.

I was at my wit's end after seeing at least 4 other couples therapists that offered standard "vanilla" advice with no change. I assumed this was like any other couples therapy but with 2 professionals instead of 1. With nothing to lose, my partner at the time and I went in for what I affectionately now call "spiritual boot camp." Jean and Ray have a unique approach to their therapy backed by a mix of data, psychology, history, Kabbalah, and what I can only assume is MAGIC. They have an uncanny ability to read people and see thru B.S. allowing them to get to the root of issues faster and without judgement. If you're a fan of Brene Brown, Jean refers to this concept of eliminating shame (both within yourself and for those around you). I've been going to Lighthouse for 4 years now--even after moving 30 miles away & 2 failed attempts to get my advice/healing elsewhere. Sometimes I still leave sessions upset (because I know Jean is right and has hit a sore spot) but I ALWAYS have a sense of clarity and peace afterwards. It's not easy work bc they will push you if change is really what you're looking for--but well worth it!

My experience having been treated here was relieving at first as I really needed serious attention…read moreand help, but slowly became unprofessional. This is not the location to choose if you are looking for long-term healing. The advice and insight I've been given felt like a bandaid compared to a lot of the complex and deeper issues I was struggling with. I didn't feel care or empathy at all from Katarina. The office started ghosting me, and have not gotten any response from her. Coming out of my sessions I felt unimportant, I felt like my issues and struggles didn't matter. This place didn't feel like a lighthouse. Matters got worse when I was asking for a note, or signing papers for work. The attitude towards me became cold. If it was out of their capabilities, I wish they tried referring me to a different location, helping me reach out to the actual help I needed. I felt so lost and stressed especially in the state I was in already. I felt threatened to have a session or not. Please, take the time to listen, be patient, understanding, responsive, and act with care as all these patients are going through tough times. Edit* After writing this review, I experienced an unsavory set of actions in order for me to take down this review, thus slowing my healing process. I have no doubt they have helped individuals before, but the unsavory actions indicate large red flags for this business. I advise caution. After every session, Katarina would just walk away like time was up that's it. I just felt like a stranger that she had to talk to for one hour and then that's it. Being a social worker, I felt it lacked the empathy and warmth. I've never felt as if she tried to understand me. I switched to my old psychologist and after just one session with him I felt hopeful. I expressed my concerns and he showed me empathy and a willingness to work things through.
