Went to Solfood in between lunch and dinner. I was really shaky on rather me and my family wanted to stay and eat, because during that time usual restaurants don't have a lot of food to eat. We still stayed, and I can say my family and I really enjoyed ourselves. I had the Hawaii fire wings it came with 6 wings, chopped carrots and celery. It also came with this specialty ranch. Everything on my plate was absolutely great. The wings had a a lot of heat to them which I reallly enjoyed. I also had a side of dill potato salad, no it's not your average southern potato salad with Mayo, but it was still really good!!! The atmosphere was nice and the decor is beautiful. The wait staff was very helpful and knew a lot of information about the food on the menu. Definitely would go again! read more

Food ideas were really creative and the Big Dill in particular was a standout. Pickles in general added a lot to relevant dishes. I do wish there were stronger scents and flavors but food was still good. Cocktails were slightly lacking in flavor though perhaps this was a result of being watered down by ice as it took a really long time for them to get to our table. For a small staff though things werent bad, but definitely really slow. read more

This is a gem in Augusta. Their vegan forward menu is driven by fresh ingredients and though there are meat options, those menu items without don't feel as if they're lacking anything. They feature creative cocktails that compliment the menu in that they're not too heavy. The staff is really nice and there's yoga on Sundays, which lends itself to the wellness focus of the restaurant. My favorite menu item is the bibimbap bowl. read more

So Ive been here a few times and sadly don't have my pictures. However, I will tell you the food and service is awesome. The places has a really cool vibe as well. They have house made juices that are fresh and clean tasting and the food taste fresh and I feel healthier and not as sluggish eating here. They offer great food with a healthy and fresh way of preparing it. My favorite is the curry bowl, Bahn Mi, and the empanadas. New and different takes on each items sold with packs of flavor. I would recommend this to my healthy eater friend and not so healthy eaters, because good food is good food. So I would definitely recommend all the way around. read more

What a great addition to Surrey Center. We've been twice now for lunch. To start we shared the black bean and butternut squash soup. It was great and well suited for a cold day; the texture was thinner than comes to mind for black bean soup but still great flavors.. Then, I had the cuban bowl and my husband had the curry bowl. Both full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and healthy seeming. The plantains in the cuban bowl were fantastic. The second time I had the banh mi with chicken and beet salad--sentiments were the same: delicious flavors and a healthy lunch option. The inside of the restaurant is nicely renovated for those who familiar with dark and often smoke filled Surrey Tavern. The bar looks really nice and the entire place feels clean and fresh. Tables are also nicely distanced for COVID precautions. My only grief was both times my food was on the cool/cold side--if it had been warmer it would have been absolutely fantastic. read more

This is a go to for a nice lunch especially with friends! I have yet to check out any of their dinner specials when they offer but that is ok b/c I love their lunch! I love the spicy edamame and overtherainbow bowl with salmon! So good! Though lately, I have tried their salad with the strawberries and added salmon to that and man! Another fave of mine! This place is amazing! The space is very warm and inviting, including the wonderful outdoor area out back. The cocktails we tried were very well done and all of the food was absolutely delicious. The pastry on the veggie empanadas was so flaky and the filling had so much flavor. The jerk chicken was also perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the roasted veggies and plantains. Although I was very full, we decided to try the peanut butter chocolate mousse desert, and I'm so glad we did. The dinner was so delicious, I can't wait to come back to try the lunch menu! read more

The best dinner out ever. My boyfriend and I love food going to various restaurants in the areas we visit as we travel frequently. The waitress suggested perfect paring of small plates, the plantain taco with empanadas. Amber, proud with a soft smile, described the menu. The mindful vibe all around projects the the mindful vibe put into the edible art. My boyfriend had the large chicken plate with a light gravy along with horseradish mashed potatoes and parsnips/Brussel sprout vegetables to the side. I tasted most and they all were bursting with flavor! I'm not a big fan of parsnips personally but these were prepared and seasoned very well. I did not mention that we started the meal out with warm cassava rolls! Cannot say enough about how delightful they were! Crunchy, not exactly the right word for the outer layer, but warm and sift inside! Enjoyed to the hilt! We did fill up on what we ordered and got breakfast rolls for the morning to enjoy. I would go to this place frequently if I lived in the area! There was many other items the menu described that had my mouth watering. I love this place. It's local, it's southern. It's perfect. Staff nice snd helpful. We were in a hurry because we're from the north and of course we are. I got a great peach Barada salad with heirloom tomatoes and a great dressing and I added salmon to it it was perfect. If I had my choice I would've taken a larger piece of salmon but overall was great. Normally the only thing I drink with lunch is water but since I was in Georgia I thought it might make sense to get some fresh lemonade which they make themselves and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect balance of tart and sweet and it was just perfect. My coworker I believe God the Indian bowl as is though my memory I believe has the name of it incorrect but it sounded and looked dynamite he was super happy and he got the lemonade also we both walked out of there absolutely loving the experience. This is a place you'll want to spend some time in to make sure you taste everything. I also really appreciated the Decour. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again I will definitely go back there. Amazing food, service and atmosphere! We ate the Banh Mi sandwich and the Bibimbap bowl. They were so flavorful and the perfect portion size. The menu is very vegan and vegetarian friendly, including dessert! Get the chocolate peanut butter mousse! We also had a sake cocktail and a fresh squeezed juice which were as you might expect by now, delicious. You cannot go wrong here! To start, we enjoyed the food. I got the beet salad + chicken-very tasty. My hubby got the Caribbean bowl with plantains, black beans, etc-again tasty but a super small portion. We like the atmosphere and decor. The prices are kind of high. The issue we had the most recent time we went was they evidently raised their prices, but didn't bother to charge the prices. For instance, my added chicken was $4 rather than $3 as shown on the menu-ok, $1.00 is not a big deal, but I think since the menu showed something else, the lower price should have been honored. When I asked the manager, she explained it was because prices were going up. Ok, but that would mean chicken is being charged at like $25/pound. And they insisted we pay the higher charge. Not very good customer service IMHO. Anyway, bottom line-good food but a bit pricey, and small portions, even for me who normally eats about half of what I order. read more

This restaurant serves delicious food full of flavor. It has vegan and vegetarisn options, and not just one meal, a few options. Fantastic!! Plus they serve meat dishes, so everyone in the party has something they can order. Plus they have kombucha, so it really doesn't get much better.
