A fantastic day spa experience with super knowledgeable spa staff and a spacious area with a hot tub, a warm pool and a warmer pool. You can order lunch and drinks and just chill on a lounge chair. Definitely a great spot for a day spa. Shout out to Parker, one of the most experienced facial experts I've ever met!

Top quality service and experience here. We went in for a massage and spent some time in the sauna, jacuzzi and garden. Very relaxing. They have a good store with some products for sale. Everything is clean and well maintained. The prices look high but they include gratuity and access to the property. I saw that a lot of people were not staying at the lodge so look this place up if you want a spa day in Sonoma. Watch out for specials they offer discounts sometimes.

Had a deep tissue massage with Melissa and it was absolutely amazing. I'm still dealing with tightness in my neck and shoulder from a bicycle accident a year and a half ago. My 50 minute session was exactly what I needed although 80 mins would have been better. Very mindful massage, communicative about pressure and overall relaxing to work with. Highly recommend. The dry sauna, jacuzzis and spa pool area were all relaxing on a Friday afternoon, less busy then the weekend is my guess. The relaxation lounge is cozy with bed cubbies big enough to comfortably fit two. Pros: Top notch masseuses, relaxing and cozy spa facilities. Cons: I don't live closer.

Very relaxing. I had a scrub with light massage and my guy had a deep tissue massage. Very professional and love the spa

I did a 60 minute deep tissue massage and it was fantastic! Definitely request Ryan. He did a phenomenal job!! Most relaxing thing I've done in a while!!

I love this spa! It's a gem in Sonoma Valley and a great value! I've been getting massages here since 2021, but I hear the spa and hotel have been here for over 20 years. I had a second massage with Maureen and she was exceptional!! She's professional and has great technique. I highly recommend! You can order food and drinks and soak and sauna. Amazing!

Avoid their "gift cards." Apparently they don't exist.

I loved this place when my partner and I would go before moving away. Mike would give me the BEST massages. If you read this Mike, thank you. My mom said you were very kind towards her. However, I'll never recommend going here. We bought my parents an electric gift certificate last Christmas... for some reason they don't send it to you as stated on their website. I called and the staff said they never email it, but they can hold it for when my parents come. Three weeks later, my parents go for their treatments... the spa didn't have their certificate. After arguing with my parents that "they don't even do gift certificates" someone from the staff found it. Then after finding the gift certificate, the staff told my parents that "it doesn't count toward their purchase." Luckily my mom got them to use the gift certificate rather than her card, but how does a $400 gift certificate not count towards a purchase? Oh... and they refused to give back the remaining balance due to "spa fees." Something totally made up. It's somehow $335 on card, but there's spa fees with a gift certificate? My parents didn't want to tell me for weeks because I RAVED about how much I loved Raindance. It must be new ownership because I would have never sent my parents to them. No one should walk away feeling scammed.

Small area efficiently use-two hot tubs and two small plunge pools a few cabanas and one patio table and 4 chairs to have lunch at.

Whose birthday is in March?! Even without staying at the hotel, the day pass was worth every penny. Check-in is seamless, and the locker rooms are fully stocked with easy-to-use lockers, plush robes, slippers, and luxurious bath products. It feels indulgent from the start. The amenities are what truly set this place apart. Outside, you can choose between two large heated pools at different temperatures, plus a hot tub tucked away in the far corner for a quieter soak. Inside, there are two additional hot tubs, a spacious sauna, and a steam room. There are showers with a signature scrub, too. If the weather doesn't cooperate, there are plenty of comfortable indoor lounging areas, including dreamy zero-gravity chairs that make it impossible not to relax. Both visits, we treated ourselves to bottle service, which made the day feel extra special. While I didn't order food, the portions looked generous and the pricing felt fair for a luxury resort experience. The staff is exceptionally well-trained, and a few team members truly went above and beyond both times. We brought cash on our second visit to make sure we could tip appropriately. One thing I will say: if you're looking for a QUIET and ultra-peaceful experience, I would avoid Saturdays. The first time we went (a Sunday), it felt very zen. The second visit was on a Saturday, and there were larger groups celebrating birthdays. Some guests were there to party, and it got loud, specifically at the hot top and indoors. Obviously, that's out of the Fairmont's control, but it's something to keep in mind depending on the vibe you're hoping for. There's honestly no better way to spend a winter day, especially when you can follow it up with a meal at El Molino Central right across the street. Note that parking is validated for a set amount of time (then around $3/hour after), which makes it easy and convenient. I love everything about this place. It's the perfect reset during the colder months, and I can't wait to return.

I really needed that. The whole service was great and I felt so at peace. The refreshing snacks are among my favorite and i have experienced spas all over - luxury properties, small businesses, hidden gems. The amenities are also worth it. There is a plunge bath, a jacuzzi, steam room, etc.

Both times I called I reached a voicemail but they quickly returned my call. After speaking to someone on the phone I got an email confirmation with additional details like parking or arriving 15 minutes early. I had no trouble rescheduling the appointments for later in the day when something came up. The resort is beautiful! It's like a little cottage. The landscaping is immaculate. When we arrived there was a wedding going on. It was a little confusing how to find the spa. One of the employees told us to follow the brick path and take a right. A less scenic but easier instructions would be to head back out towards the street after dropping off your car with the valet and make a left. As you're walking along the street you'll easily find The Spa/pool area. Checking in we were given a pair of slippers and shown the locker room. Instructions on how to use the locker are easy. You get to choose a 4 digit code. I recommend bringing a swim suit so you can enjoy the hydrotherapy garden (jacuzzi and steam room) afterwards. I was told access to the pool is available for an additional $5. Very clean facilities! Someone must be attending to the locker rooms constantly. Nothing was out of place. Plenty of clean towels. Lots of personal care products available. In the waiting area for the massage even had cookies from the restaurant. There's also water and tea available. After the 50 minute MacArthur massage I felt like I woke up from a good nap. It was very refreshing. My friend said her massage targeted areas based on what she did for work repetitively. The staff at the front is super sweet and easy to work with and both massage therapists were great (Christopher and Adam) and followed what we requested to a T. The spa itself is quite small and was really crowded on Saturday. The little free snacks were completely out by 3PM and there was a queue/line to shower post treatment. The outdoor area is cute and so was the hot tub, it felt tranquil even though you are pretty close to the main pool. Not a ton of fancy stuff to discuss, for the price point it would be awesome to have a sauna or something else small spa related but they are working with the space they have. Even a free glass of champagne or wellness drink could be a good touch.

How about when you first drive up the winding drive, and glimpse the first take of the stunning main building. I arrived at night, so all the ambience from the lighting, the moon, the glimmer off the fountain in the middle of the courtyard. Immediately was struck. Then I walked in to check in at the front desk - and I couldn't have been more welcoming. I had just made the marathon drive from Pasadena, CA, and was just tired, hungry and looking to get to the room and get to dinner. But the warm faces and kind words instantly washed the road away from me (and to be honest, the perfectly chilled glass of local champagne certainly helped that too!). They ensured everything was right with the room and with the stay and so I headed out to pick up the puppy from the car and settle up to the room. And then... there is the story of the puppy. Out of all the hotels and resorts I've stayed in - nothing NOTHING compares to the dog friendly (while still wholly human centric) service at this Fairmont. They made me feel like Chance was as much a guest there as I was. And all that isn't even to mention the concierge, the perfect cocktails from the bartender, the beautiful winding paths that guide you through the campus, the world class spa and massages (note - make SURE you check out the quiet room, nothing like it I've ever seen), the OUTSTANDING breakfast under the trees next to the pool... I just don't have time to list it all here. But the cherry on top - really is the people. They just... they are the magic that infuses everything in the building, everything in the resort, everything in the spa. They were there for me at every turn and at every moment, for every need. The experience was basically just access to a pool area. There weren't many amenities, activities, or anything that made it feel like a luxury resort day. The setting itself also wasn't particularly impressive, with parts of the pool area feeling like they were right next to utility equipment rather than a relaxing spa environment. I'm a Fairmont member and have stayed at several Fairmont properties, including Banff and Hawaii, so I came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, this experience didn't come close to the level of service or value I've come to expect from the brand. If you're in your 30s looking for a fun, relaxing day trip from San Francisco, I'd skip this. It's not about the cost alone. I don't mind paying for quality, but this just didn't deliver enough to justify the price. A disappointing experience and a missed opportunity for what could have been a great destination.
