Let me start off by saying I LOVE chicken cracklings. Being from Mississippi, we don't really have…read morespots that sell them fresh like Louisiana does. So whenever I'm passing through, stopping at Billy's Boudin & Cracklin or Randall's Cajun Foods is a must for me. I went to Randall's today. About 5 months ago, I stopped in and the cracklings had clearly been sitting for a while, they were tough. I explained my concern and even offered to pay extra just to have a fresh batch cooked. After going back and forth, they finally made them fresh, and they were exactly what I wanted. Fast forward to today, I called ahead and specifically asked for fresh cracklings. The young man on the phone said okay, no problem. I walk in 5 minutes later and there's already a bag waiting. I asked where they came from and she told me they were cooked that morning. That was an immediate no for me. If I'm spending $21 for a pound, I don't want tough, sitting all day cracklings. Go ahead and put those back. I ended up trying the boudin balls, big mistake. You could tell they had been sitting too. At that point, I didn't even have the energy to go back and forth or ask for a manager. Honestly, it should be a given. This picture is pepper jack boudin ball. Look how dry it is . Needless to say, I won't be back.

The order was to be ready today Dec 27th at 10:00 We just got a call at 9:01 and were notified that there is no meat! I want the public to know that this place is not one to order meats from! We now have 4 hours to come up with something for our family. Family members coming in from LA and Shreveport. You certainly can not depend on this place. Also last week we bought a chicken and dumpling casserole that was horrible! Only dark meet was used! Please do not confuse this company with Randall' Captain Averies on Ferrand. The company that gave the poor service is Randall's on Sterlington Road. This owners purchased this place two years are.

I recently had the pleasure (and by pleasure, I mean mild confusion mixed with disappointment) of…read moredining at Podnuhs, where I ordered what was boldly labeled a "large BBQ meat sandwich." Now, when I hear "large," I picture something requiring two hands and a strategy. What I received instead was a bun that looked like it had commitment issues--definitely not large, and barely medium on a good day. When I asked about it, I was informed that they were out of large buns... but were still charging for a large sandwich anyway. Bold business move. Visionary, even. But wait--it gets better. Or worse. Definitely worse. This "BBQ" sandwich came with absolutely no BBQ sauce. None. Not on the sandwich, not in the container, not even a lonely packet hiding in the bag like a last-minute apology. The result? Dry meat performing a dramatic escape from the undersized bun with every bite. It was less a sandwich and more a slow-motion landslide. By the end, I wasn't eating BBQ--I was participating in a meat evacuation drill. Needless to say, Podnuhs has officially lost a customer. On the bright side, BBQ West has gained one--because I like my BBQ sandwiches like I like my promises: actually delivered. Podnuhs, "you have some "splaining to do"! (1 star for the napkin that tried its best)

September 30, 2023 Review #444…read more + First To Review... Yes it's Crazy Yummy Cookie time especially the fun easy way called Scoop, Drop & Bake. Then I love to enjoy their warm gooey taste with less mess for clean up in My kitchen! (Stereo on too while baking) "Crazy About Cookies" is the name of the cookie dough Tubs I bought from Neighbors, LLC back in August. They offer snacks and cookie dough fundraising options to help schools, and satisfy everyone's sweet tooth! :-) Neighhors America Favorite Treats supports Fundraising Groups Of: Athletics & Sports, Ministry Church, Spirit, Dance, Cheerleading, Choir, Band, PTO and other Club Fundraisers state wide. My review is for an online order that I placed through My great Nephew's School in Almont Michigan. My Photos attached show how quick and easy it was to use this ready made cookie dough batter from start to finish in an hour. I bought Oatmeal Raisin and MMM candies at $22.00 a tub. I used only a 1/4 of each tub so back in the freezer they are up to year. If refrigerated the Tubs keep up to 6 months in between scooping! I'm a Happy and Satisfied Scooper! Oh My Deeeelicious for any day or month of the year cookie lovers! The manufacturing and distribution employees from Neighbors, LLC have been Mixing batters for 20 years in West Monroe, LA. The video online shows that they enjoy their fun production jobs! They offer Twelve Yes 12 different Flavors: Chunk chocolate chip, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar, MMM Candies, White Chocolate Macadamia, Triple Chocolate, Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter Cup, Mint Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie Spice and lastly Caramel Pecan Chocolate Chip! I'll definitely buy other flavors to enjoy for the holidays. Easy Peasy & Fun. This company Neighbors also sells Ready-To-Eat Edible Cookie Dough and its Kosher Certified. This business is Women Owned. If you are looking to sell cookie dough, contact their office at: 131 Frost Commercial Dr. West Monroe, LA 71292 Phone: (318) 397-1124 Email: info@neighborscookies.com "Be A Good Neighbor & Bake Some Crazy About Cookies" from Neighbors, LLC. Then Share Some, Chat About & Yummy Enjoy! P. S. For the critical (Trolls) who disagree that cookie dough batter should be made from scratch with seeds and dried ingredients, is the way to make, bake and roll is fine compared to that over standing and tiring method. I gave Love to my Great Nephew by supporting his Kindergarten school in My purchase. I DO Bake during the holidays using famous and traditional recipes from My Dear departed Mother and Busica -Grandma so Bake on My Ways! Crazy About Cookies is for convenience and 100 % Flavor plus quick and easy when you have a taste for a dozen or 24 cookies on a rainy, sunny or a snowy day! You do the Math or make and bake the WHOLE Deeelicious Tub! Yummers! :-) SpecialK
