Fantastic ski and snowboard shop located in Mukilteo in the same building as the Tapped Mukilteo restaurant. It is located in the back of the lot on the bottom floor. The owner, Joe, runs this place and wow, he make you feel like a local customer, but an old friend. I came to get my skis tuned up before ski season. He was able to take care of my skis and my kids skis in addition to checking the bindings as well for free. The turnaround was fast. He got these tuned up next day. Prices for the tuneup were very reasonable. Lots of gear available here. If I need to get new skis for my kid as he gets bigger, I will definitely get them here. I have had this used ski shop bookmarked for a while and finally went and checked them out! I think they just moved downstairs, they are underneath Tapped, you cannot see the shop from the main road. We walked in looking for a set of skis for Cody to ski on at the resorts. They seemed to have a ton of used ski and snowboard boots, and lots of second hand snow wear for kids and adults. We browsed the skis real quick, but didn't seem like they had a huge selection. We ended up talking to a guy who was there helping the shop out/volunteer, and after what we told him we were looking for, he gave us his honest opinion and told us that they probably did not have what we were looking for. Love stores when they aren't hard on selling you their product but giving you their honest opinion! The guy does ski tune ups and waxes too. OVER PRICED AND EQUIPMENT BREAKS ON YOU . I purchased hundreds of dollars worth of equipment sold to me and the owner ensured me it was all good to go. My snowboard biding just snapped off, the straps ripped as soon as I got home to try them on. I went to check online prices, and found out he ripped me off, just buy the gear off Amazon, you'll get it brand new and in better condition. To be clear- this is a USED shop. Which is totally fine, but I wanted to mention that because we didn't realize before going and so we were kinda surprised when we walked in. Anyways, the owner joe is absolutely wonderful. Just a super cool, nice dude. My favorite part about the entire shop is Jerry Springer, the shop dog. She is the sweetest most adorable pup and I basically played with her the entire time we were there ;) We enjoyed browsing and trying on some helmets. We will probably return to buy mine from there, which means I get to see Jerry again! Woohoo. Support local businesses and take a look here before buying at some huge retailer. Saw this shop on the way home. Funny we've never stepped foot inside it until now since we only live down the street. We immediately turned around and this has got to be one of the best locally owned shops we've ever been to. Everything is well organized. The owner is incredibly nice and friendly. Incredible customer service! When I took in my daughter's broken snowboard binding, the owner helped me fix it with spare parts for free rather than trying to sell me new bindings. He definitely was looking out for the customer experience and demonstrating the benefit of locally owned businesses. I've been to a few other snowboarding shops, and this one is, by far, my absolute favorite! I came in to get my bindings on my snowboard adjusted, and came out with high quality snowboard jackets, great tips, and a new snowboarding bag + snowboarding mask (that the owner graciously threw in for free). I was amazed at how wonderful the service was! The owner, Joe, was knowledgeable, caring, friendly, supportive, selfless, and helpful. He was able to answer any question that I had with confidence, and he is an experienced rider himself. I made the drive to this Mukilteo store last weekend to get some ski gear for the winter. I'm a beginner and didn't know too well what I was doing when I went in there. The owner spent a lot of time with me making sure I got boots, clothes, goggles and poles that fit. I could tell he wasn't just doing the customer service routine, but actually cared about getting me the right gear. There is a very large selection of gear for a second-hand store, and it was all very reasonably priced. I was able to walk out with everything but the skis (which I already had from a friend) and still have money for lift tickets! There is also a resident springer spaniel that really adds a comfortable and relaxed touch to the store. All in all it was well worth the drive. read more

Came in looking to swap some old ski boots and skiis for some boots that fit since it had been 13 years since skiing last. Joe had the perfect pair of boots, brand new and I received a fair trade in on my older equipment. I found some new goggles for $99 that were $230 in REI and received a very nice case with my purchase at no extra charge. Then Joe sized my ski bindings with the new boots at no charge. Throughout the process I was impressed with his knowledge and focus on what I wanted to achieve. My friend recommended coming here for cheap snow gear since we were planning on going to Stevens Pass. We were greeted by the cutest dog ever when we walked in. While the store is quiet and small with a limited collection, I was able to find some pants for $20! Unfortunately, they ended uo being wayyyy too uncomfortable so I called to make sure it was okay if I returned them. The store owner, Joe, was really nice and helpful, and allowed me to return them. Best place in Seattle I have found that has everything you could possibly need for the ski & snowboard season! And all for the best prices anywhere, including Craigslist. The selection was unbelievable! 100's of ski boot ranging in price from mostly $50-$75 for excellent & top-of-the line brand names. You really could spend about the same for your own equipment here for the same cost of renting equipment two times. And Joe was so helpful and spent a lot of time with me and my daughter making sure everything worked together and fit properly. It's a one-stop shop for all your ski equipment and gear you need without breaking the bank. Plus he works on equipment and does the waxing as well. This shop is a rare gem! I brought in a board with a broken binding and he spent an hour creating a new strap and making sure it was safe to ride. He wouldn't accept any money and said more people need to do things out of the kindness of their heart. Joe is super friendly and willing to help you find just what you need. Great selection of outdoor winter clothes, gloves, hats, scarves, etc. Tons of ski boots to choose from.
