    So so good

Always an incredible experience eating here. I've travelled all over the world and I've never seen such an innovative concept like the coffee flight. We've been following Spotted Cow since they were at the farm. Love this brand and will continue to come back time and again. Rachel makes the entire place feel like you're in someone's kitchen and the attention to detail is incredible. Also, I have no complaints about the price. It's nothing compared to a big city, and I understand with inflation, just how much it takes to support local businesses. FIVE STARS from me. Will be back again and again.

Coffe flight was fun! Ended up ordering the raspberry tea on the end to go!

To me, this cafe is worth the stop. All the ladies are amazing and very helpful. I love her enthusiasm for her craft. I had the spinach and dill bagel with cream cheese and ham. Im from Dallas and ive never seen spinach and dill in a bagel like that. Amazing! Ham was super thick and loaded down! The coffee flight was fun to experience. Being from Dallas I don't see there being any issues with price. I prefer quality food with quality ingredients. I feel good after I eat here. The entire cafe is very cute and full of energy. This place is an entire vibe!!! Being from out of town I always make sure I stop here. Great food, upbeat atmosphere, definitely will be back!

Super cute place. Staff are so nice. Coffee was really good. They have muffins and some other snacks. Fresh brewed tea. Lots to choose from. In the store they have milk, eggs, fresh bread, honey. Some gifting items. There are a few tables to sit at and a table of different board games you can play. We went at night so we did not get to see the farm but were told you could walk around and feed the animals. Highly recommend this place.

This place is OUTRAGEOUSLY PRICED!!!!!! Absolutely a rip off! Especially for a place in the woods of Barre. Paying Boston prices. Insane. Never felt more ripped off on a meal ever before. Apparently this is 34$!!!! Yes 34 dollars worth of breakfast food!!! Piece of sausage that doesn't even fill the whole sandwich and same with the bacon! Just pathetic excuse for such an outrageous price!! The drink is more than half ice it's ridiculous. Just do better, such a waste of money.

This place was amazing! The barista was so friendly and helpful, the coffee and pastries were fresh and delicious and there were tons of animals to say hey to! We will definitely be back

A great little spot to stop by for coffee & treats! A nice atmosphere and the barista Rachel is super friendly and makes awesome drinks. We tried the snickers peanut butter and the almond joy coffees and they were delicious! Not too sweet and super flavorful. The wild berry muffin was delicious. Will definitely be back to try the ice cream too.

Busy joint, tight seating, and energetic servers who keep attentive. -- Patty Melt: So much to like about this, from the marble rye (though I think pumpernickel) to the full size patty (better than the double smashed you get elsewhere) to the onions to the gooey melted cheese to the extreme juiciness and pleasing flavor. I didn't detect any Russian dressing, but this sandwich wasn't lacking for moistness or flavor oomph. A near-elite rendition and one of the best I've had in a while. Excellent. -- Fries: Included with the patty melt and a plentiful supply. The bad news: they're the dreaded industrial "coated" kind. The good news: they were piping hot and cooked perfectly, crisp outside, fluffy inside. The great news: you can substitute home fries. My server offered a sample of the home fries. -- Home Fries: I found them to be right in my wheelhouse for doneness, crispness, seasoning, onions, and overall texture and flavor. Superb. Between the good looking plates that passed by and my enjoyment of my own food on my first visit, there's sure to be a second. Looking forward to returning with my wife for breakfast and more of those home fries.

The waitress who I believe was named Erica (she was the younger taller girl, there were two of them) the one that greeted us was rude and needs to work on her interpersonal/engagement skills and to not mumble (they both were mumbling and you could not hear or decipher what they were saying but then she wanted to cop an attitude because I was about to check her), it was our first time so we walk in taken back at how small it was, she wanted us to wait outside but instead of staying such she gave us a dirty look and her attitude continued at the counter. It is very cramped in there and sitting at the counter was uncomfortably close to other patrons, if I return it will be during the work week but will wait for a booth free up.

This area of Massachusetts doesn't have a lot of Asians like us, but we did not feel too out of place. We also noticed that the whole crew were all women, which is so empowering! The restaurant had a rustic feel with a contemporary mindset. Our server was clear and kind. The food came out in a timely manner. I reduced the review by one star, just because I feel like 5 is supposed to give a wow-factor, which I did not get here. Being new to the area, I would be down to explore new restaurants before coming back. But I would also definitely return just because it honestly does feel out of place being in this area if you are Asian.

Typical nostalgic decor with entertainers of the 1950s, keeping with the diner's name. -- Patty Melt: This is the reason I came, as I'm searching for great ones, and theirs is right up there. American cheese (a little outside the standard Swiss), choice of bread (I went marble rye), and optional add-ons (I chose grilled onions, which you'd think would be standard). Excellent execution. Griddled bread with just enough butter, just enough crunch, and no sogginess. Beef soft, with a loose grind, cooked to a juicy medium rare, and with nice beef flavor (too many diner versions use stiff, el cheapo patties; this was quality sourcing a couple steps up). And melty cheese and soft onions complementing while letting the beef sing loudest. No one ingredient was artisanal-level premium, but every aspect was handled beautifully. -- Fries (included with the Patty Melt): Alas, the dreaded "coated" kind, an obvious frozen product. Hot, crisp, and plentiful, so it could've been worse. No biggie; the patty melt was good enough for this not to matter. I can't emphasize enough how well-run the place is. The friendly veteran servers move like clockwork and could easily drop a "honey" on you with every interaction, but that would merely add a delay. Instead, they show their dedication with sincere smiles, initiative, and time-learned precision. It's a joy to behold. Normally I'd hold off on a 5 based on such a small sample size, but the food and shakes I saw going out all looked good, and that service excellence cliched it.
