Attended a wedding recently here and found it to be a beautiful venue. Every angle of the venue is very photogenic, both inside and inside with lots of beautiful architectural features from columns, to a fireplace, to an impressive staircase. There was plenty of parking available here and the staff was helpful in directing people all day long. If I could give this venue 0 stars I would. The day of rehearsals for the wedding party, the venue's manager changed the time that was agreed upon 6 months before hand. This resulted in half of the wedding party not being able to make it in time and on top of that the entire time of rehearsals one of the venue employees (Kelcey) was following the bride around repeating "you'll need to leave soon" "it's almost time to leave" "make sure to finish in time" making it even harder for everyone to get through rehearsals. We were not allowed to bring outside alcohol in which was understandable but the bartenders that were provided were super rude and seemed like they didn't even have basic classic cocktail knowledge. The bride and groom purchased a five thousand dollar bar tab for an open bar for everyone, the bartenders started charging after an hour an a half of serving! For 30 minutes of that time the ceremony was going on so no one was inside and the when we were inside they had time to stand around and stare at everyone, so it was seemed highly unlikely that the tab had already been ran up. At the end of the night the venue staff told the wedding party we needed to make sure that all of the trash was taken out and taken all the to the dumpster. Any other venue that I've been to or rented out that task is definitely the venue's responsibility. This venue made it absolutely impossible for the bride and groom to relax and enjoy their time. The employees kept telling the parents of the newly wed couple about more things we needed to do or not allowed to do, it seemed like they were making up rules or standards as the night went on. Weddings can be such stressful times and this venue staff only added to the stress. Super disappointed because the building itself was beautiful. read more

My sister had this place booked in October of 2023 for her wedding on 9/13/24. Since she had people flying in from all over the country she talked to her coordinator about having her rehearsal the night before from 5-6 pm. She had this put out to her bridal party back around January February. Most of the bridal party including the bride and groom are military and have to stick to super strict schedules. The DAY OF rehearsal my sister gets a call from Kelsey who she had never met or talked to before stating the property is under new management and her coordinator is no longer employed there and that she had to move her rehearsal to 3 instead of 5. My dad went over to talk to her and explain that not everyone would be able to make that and she refused to accommodate us. She said she couldn't stay past her hours had to lock up. We finally got her to let us come from 4-5. While we were there she was hovering and kept giving us countdowns that we had to leave by which made everything feel super rushed. They never replaced her coordinator so we had to have people fill those shoes the day of. My sisters caterer never showed either and if we had the coordinator whose job it is to have all that info and know time hacks we wouldn't have been scrambling to find something last minute. The security was amazing though and stepped up to help and do what the coordinator should have. It's also an "Open venue" so the day of your event they allow tours for people to come in even though you pay to rent it. This place is stunning but the people running it are extremely unprofessional and don't care about anything other than making their money at the end of the day. Even at the cost of what's supposed to be the best day of someone's life. read more

The Springs was an amazing venue at a great price. Everyone was super nice, courteous, and flexible on our wedding day. One thing I do want to point out despite my 5-star rating is the fact that we were limited to only 2 bartending services. One that was all inclusive and really expensive (more than the venue itself) and another that charged $800 for 5-hours of bartending service and we provide everything (liquor, beer, wine, sodas, napkins, cups, straws etc.) , they go by the name of "3-Bartending" we went with this option, they were by far the worst Bartending service experience that we've ever had. Many of our guests complained about being forced to tip, and being harassed by the male bartender to tip or being plain rude to them. Many of my male friends expressed how all females would get a 16oz cups for drinks but males would get the 9oz cups that were purchased for wine and not necessarily drinks. Female friends even told us that the bartender would mention "I'll make you that drink if you tip me" comments like that. Given they already were paid and had a tip jar out, which we were fine with. But to be rude to our guests was totally unacceptable. At the end of the night our wedding planner mentioned that the bartender would not leave until we gave them an additional tip, after them having a tip jar all night, harassed our guests and had already been paid $800 for 5-hours of bartending service. Many people also complained about the lack of liquor in each drink, telling us they were very light which caused them to go for more and more, and each time they went, guess what happened? Even after them already tipping once before, guests were harassed to tip again! Lack of supplies, was not an issue on our part; we had plenty of cups, alcohol, beers, mixers and ice left over by the end of the night. It just seemed like this was done intentional to charge our guests for a drink that we had already purchased and paid for their service. Prior to the event we even had to do our own research for the ingredients and measurements of each drink that we wanted to offer. That kinda then surprised me that a bartender wouldn't know how to make a jack & coke, a cherry sour, or a screwdriver and why do we have to provide instructions to a bartender on how to make a drink, after literally being paid $160/hour to do their job. The least they could have done was do a simple google search prior to the event if they didn't know. I really do and blame The Springs on this one. With very little bartending choices and the only choice to have an a la carte option, we were stuck with a horrible service from "3 Bartending" I would write a very negative review for them, but to their luck, they are no where to be found on Google, which I'm not surprised, by the service they provided, they probably would receive many other negative reviews if they were easily found. The Spring, I really highly recommend you get a replacement or offer additional bartending options other than the only 2 options given read more

We were just married here on 11-25-18 and I couldn't have been happier with our experience. From start to finish, the staff here was so helpful, courteous and knowledgeable with any question I needed answered and were always prompt in replying via e-mail and even text! What a great option for a business! I received so many compliments on our venue. I was a little concerned with what the foliage would look like in late November, since everything was so green and vibrant when we booked over the summer, but it was gorgeous! The leaves were beginning to change and the backdrop for our photos was just breathtaking! I was so happy the weather held up for our ceremony to be outdoors in that beautiful setting, but have seen photos of brides who held theirs indoors and it still looks lovely. Our Wedding was PERFECT, thanks to the Springs Event Venue - Rockwall Manor! They responded by text, email and phone. I really liked being able to text any questions I had pop-up. The Venue itself is Gorgeous. We were lucky to have Beautiful weather so we could take advantage of the outside gazebo ceremony and indoor reception. All of our guest loved the venue as well. It was great not having to worry about having enough tables and chairs. They recently upgraded there chairs and it looks amazing in our photos. All of the staff were extremely helpful and responded very quickly. It was perfect for the fall wedding we wanted! We used there bartenders and security they were very professional and provided excellent service. I took advantage of the facebook page for questions and advice from previous vendors and brides.
