Great food! Great service!! Great value!!! I took my daughters here and between the three of us we were able to try all of the sides, except the beans. They definitely have their own twist on things. The sweet potatoes were good but a little heavy on the nutmeg. They tasted like a mix of apple and pumpkin pie. The mac and cheese was really creamy. I really liked the horseradish coleslaw. I'm not a big fan of collard greens but I still tried them and actually thought they were pretty good. For our mains, two of us had the brisket and one had ribs. Both were super good. There were 4 different sauces. I recommend trying them all. I wanted to try the sausage but they were sold out. I guess you need to get there earlier than an hour before they closed. We finished with a couple desserts. The banana pudding was probably the best I've had. Their seasonal cobbler was blueberry and very tasty! I was hoping for peach. Maybe next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time. It was a lot of food so we had plenty left over that ate for lunch the next day. The atmosphere is super friendly and really clean. Like most barbecue places I've been to there is no table service. You order and pay at the counter. Then depending on how busy they are they will bring your food to your table or have you pick up at the counter. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal. The staff were super nice and treated them just like any other customer. Great food! We stopped in for lunch. The atmosphere and decor was very cute and inviting. Our serviced was super nice and attentive. We ordered the tri tip dip sandwich which was the highlight of the meal. It was delicious. We also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and that was full of flavor. The focaccia was on the dryer side and the chicken didn't fill out the bun so it was just kind of off texture wise and lacking fullness but the favor was 10/10. The food was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were perfectly balanced, and the service was impeccable. We started with the bacon jam, which was everything you'd expect, but was a tad bit too sweet to eat a lot of. We then moved on to the Idaho trout and grilled chicken. The trout was perfectly cooked, the sauce and vegetables were the perfect pairing for a light dish. The grilled chicken had a nice assortment of gnocchi and a delicious onion cream sauce. For sides we had the Brussels sprout appetizer with bacon, apples, honey, and goat cheese...WOW! We also had the potato pave. The potatoes were yummy once we added salt and pepper. Without it, they were extremely bland, but once seasoned, I devoured all of them. Finish them with flaky salt before serving, it makes a huge difference. For dessert we had the orange marmalade bread pudding. It was ok, but I wish we chose something else. The flavors just didn't mesh. If you love a good smoked flavor in your steak, this is definitely your place. Steaks are cooked over open fire and our ribeye was perfection. Since Hubs and I were sharing, they even managed to do a medium to medium rare to make us both happy. The salmon dip was excellent with a smoked and spicy flavor. The server brought us crackers made in house since we didn't want the rice crackers. Those were fire spicy and absolutely delicious, seasoned with Old Bay. The atmosphere is old & traditional, matching the vibe of the food. There is also a beautiful old bar for your pre dinner drinks and an extensive menu of whiskey, wine, cocktails. I've loved Smoke for years, but the brunch is now my favorite in Tulsa! I was with some girls for a bachelorette brunch, and our server was fantastic! The Bloody Mary bar was my favorite thing ever. Smoke is the catfish of restaurants... everything was way undercooked. Unsafe to eat. Not sure if it's because it's smoked instead of grilled, but the burger and steak were so undercooked that cow was still alive. And I'm someone who only eats beef medium rare. read more

Lunch at Smoke -1:00 Considering they had 2 huge party (Christmas?) tables, we had no complaints about service. We asked for a booth and were promptly accommodated. Food was a little slow, but in the interim we were offered their awesome house made potato chips and ranch dressing. Hubby ordered the dip sandwich, thought there was too much bread but loved the smoky beef, not the dip. Too oniony in his opinion. I thought it a tad greasy. I waffled between the hamburger and chicken on focaccia. I asked our waitress about the height of the chicken because I envisioned a full breast wrapped between two slices of focaccia. She said they were equal but agreed the focaccia would likely be messier. My hamburger was dry IMO. And the fries were burned. I liked the house made catsup. I haven't reviewed every visit. Had a business lunch at Smoke Woodfire Grill in Tulsa, and while the food wasn't quite what I'd hoped for this time, there were still plenty of positives that made the experience worthwhile. We arrived right at 11 AM and were seated immediately, which was perfect for our meeting. The ambiance was warm, quiet, and inviting--ideal for a productive and relaxed business lunch. Our server, Savannah, was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. She took our drink orders while we waited for the rest of our group, and stayed on top of things without being overbearing. The menu offered a wide variety of appealing options, and I appreciated how thoughtfully it was put together. While waiting, someone at the table ordered the Fried Calamari and Potato Croquettes. The calamari was just okay--nothing wrong with it, but nothing memorable either. I didn't try the croquettes, but they were well-presented and others at the table seemed to enjoy them. I eventually chose the Reuben Sandwich, which is one of my all-time favorites. It arrived looking fantastic--generous portion, beautifully grilled marble rye, and a pile of fries cooked perfectly crispy as requested. But when I took a bite, something just didn't sit right. The corned beef had an unusual seasoning--maybe allspice or something similar--that gave the sandwich an odd flavor. I asked Savannah about it, and she went straight to the kitchen to get clarification. She came back, explained what spices were used, and immediately offered to replace the dish with something else. I declined, but she asked again--her commitment to making things right was impressive. Interestingly, my colleague who ordered the same sandwich had a similar reaction, so I think it just wasn't our kind of seasoning. It's worth noting that I've eaten at Smoke before and had a fantastic meal, so I know this place can deliver great food. This particular dish just didn't land for me. First date in 10 years and 6 months so when asked "Where would you like to go?" I chose here. I had eaten here a couple decades before and it still remains on the A+ list. Romantic, can actually hear each other talk, sparks interest due to many qualities. The wait staff are very attentive and kind. You know that saying "You get what you pay for?" Well, it is true. The bar area is small but well stocked with options. The interior is dark with lots of wood. Our server was friendly and going about checking with the kitchen about some dietary restrictions. My husband didn't get one of his food items which should have come when they brought my salad. The Caesar was good but I don't like the whole lettuce and prefer it to be chopped up. I really enjoyed my halibut in the curry sauce with fried rice. The flavor was a touch of heat and just a good blend of spices. My husband enjoyed his fish and green beans. We were visiting from out of town and were referred this restaurant by a local. First let me say- we're from New Orleans, so we know good food and good service. We're pretty picky about our steak and the filet we got at Smoke was fantastic! Perfectly cooked, high quality, and spectacularly grilled. The brussel sprouts were spectacular and the bacon jam app delicious, the potato croquet was pretty heavy yet delicious, but the service really set it apart. Came here for dinner after spending the day at the horse show. We wanted good steaks (prime) without feeling out of place in our jeans and boots and Smoke was perfect. The steak sauce was so deliciously smoky! We had the smoked salmon appetizer which was fabulous. My friend and I both got steaks - she got the NY Strip and I had the tenderloin. Great experience, perfect for a Father's Day brunch. A more elevated experience than typical, a good place to wear nicer clothes and celebrate. The breakfast potatoes are basically a fried smashed baked potato. Never had anything like this and we loved it. The portions are large, I shared the lamb sliders with my son and it was just the right amount. My husband's burrito was enormous, easily shareable. Seems like they change their menu pretty often so don't get too attached to the yelp pictures posted of the menu like I did (RIP green chili poutine). The service was good. My only complaints are: we only had enough silverware for 4 even though we had reservations for 5 and had to ask for it, and the complimentary cornbread with butter was absolutely delicious but there were only 4 muffins, so I got one bite only from my sweet daughter who shared. We did have reservations, I made them a month ahead because Father's day reservations in town seem to go fast. There is a cigar lounge but you can't smell it at all (thankfully) and I thought it was very kid friendly, there were other kids there as well. read more

Everyone at our table got the bone-in pork chop, and I had the mushroom pasta. emEverything was excellent! Chris did a great job serving us. Only negative with this place is that it was beyond freezing inside. Apparently they have to run the AC super cold because the building has moisture issues. Unfortunately, I would not come back here for this reason alone because it was uncomfortably cold. Food: sides were all pretty lackluster honestly. Expected ALOT more out of the brisket Mac and cheese, tasted like watery pasta with brisket that was drowning in BBQ sauce. Mashed potatoes were also pretty dry as well. Salad was decent, wings were smoked well and were definitely better than the sides. The star of the show however was the pork chop. While being pretty salty, I'd rather more flavor than less. It was juicy and cooked expertly, I'd easily consider it one of the best pork chops I've ever had. Let me be clear: Smoke is good. Scott is the reason people come back. The food was great, but Scott ran the place like it was his own BBQ kingdom. Dude anticipated needs before we even knew we had them I'm pretty sure he could sense thirst, hunger, and emotional distress from across the room. At one point I forgot I was in a restaurant and not in some kind of smoky, meat-based support group led by Scott. Service so good it made me uncomfortable how much better my life was for that hour. If Smoke ever fires Scott, I will assume the restaurant has entered its villain arc. Fantastic staff, killer food, and Scott deserves a raise, a statue, or at least first dibs on the good brisket for life. Would absolutely return. Would absolutely request Scott. Now, we had breakfast brunch in this day....and it's a great place for breakfast. My guess is it's a great place for a lot of things! - French toast...a solid traditional French toast....with the touch of some fresh fruit. - Corned beef hash...again a solid choice...and appears they are making that corned beef...(not) some canned stuff they're cooking. - Muffins...you see those muffins? Those little things...with the compound butter they are making here....oh...excellent. - the gravy is being made from scratch...and was some good tasting breakfast gravy.
