Firstly, amazing atmosphere! The staff, and most importantly, the bartenders always provide great service. Caden and Maddie are two of my favorite to wait on us! I am a hard critic when it comes to wings and this location has the best wings I have had in Wisconsin. The Jerk dry rub and Lucky 13 dry is absolutely incredible! Highly recommend! If you know Steny's Lake Country, you already expect a good time--and this newer location (only about 2 years old) delivers, even though it's tucked into a corporate park. Don't let that throw you off--it's super easy to find and the parking lot is a huge plus (no circling like downtown). We stopped in for their Derby party and it was a blast. Fun games, great energy, and an overall lively atmosphere that made it feel like an event, not just a night out. Food-wise, we kept it classic: cheese curds and the lobster dip--both were really good. The curds hit that perfect crispy/cheesy balance, and the lobster dip felt a little elevated but still totally shareable and worth it. I'd definitely go back again, but next time I'd probably pick a less busy time so we can relax a bit more and try more of the menu. I tried to place the order about 5 times (using Apple pay repeatedly but it kept coming back with that pickup time is not available - pickup times are NOT selectable). * They tack on 4% for to-go orders but they don't tell you until you see the final bill. This did NOT show up on my attempts at ordering and paying on-line. * They tack on 3% for credit card payments. We went in and had a drink and placed the "to-go" order. Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon to try the chicken wings which I've heard a lot about. Thought Thursday was wing day but it starts at 6pm, unfortunately I missed out on the special and paid the $1.50 each instead of $1.00 each. Placed an order for wings, went with medium heat and although they were very meaty and tasty, the dry rub left me wanting a sauced rub even though I did order both blue cheese and ranch dressings. Note that all dressings and should you desire carrots or celery are extra costs, a pricy wing day. At first, I was so excited to try this place as friends had recommended their fish fry, but it was Saturday so we ordered off the regular menu and I thought the steak fajita bowl would be a good choice. Almost every bite had to be spit out as there were chunks of fat And very hard chunks! The meatloaf was very mushy and tasted like there were a lot of fillers versus beef. We came across this place as we were boarding our dog over at Barkin up Hickory. It is tucked away right by there. It has a huge parking lot and a very large building with high tops and some ventures to sit at. The service was super quick. Our server was very friendly and helpful. My husband was craving a Reuben and it was prepared without any dairy on it. It was sensational. There is a clubhouse room with an arcade for kids or grown-ups. I have dined here twice both times with many glitches. Let's start from the top, I was seated but I waited 8 minutes after that before a server acknowledged my presence. Next, I ordered A flavored Ice Tea and that took 6 minutes to arrive; granted it was moderately busy (and I have been in the food industry for 30 years know) but this can get you a little punchy. Next the food, it was Friday and I was told to try the Fish Fry, and that I did. I ordered the Cod fries, and Cole slaw. So my server left to place the order and waiting game began. Thirty five minutes past with no server in sight or drink refill, I did go to the bar and get one on my own. Fouty five minutes past and the food arrived, the anticipation was killing me. Everything was over seasoned to such a degree it was a turnoff. The wings were cooked to perfection. However we tried multiple sauces and didn't like any of them. We eat wings often and this has never been an issue elsewhere. Hand cut fries would have been good if it wasn't for the excessive seasoning on those as well. The kettle chips were not worth getting. Soda for $3.00 was too much and watered down. Perch dinner for $20.00 was not worth it. Got the fish fry which was ok but the potato pancakes were very dark and burnt along the outside. I did inform the waitress and she said she would let the kitchen know. My bill was over $70.00. Lake Country location has great bar service, food, and drinks! The new and improved Steny's Lake Country was beautifully redone inside and out. It has a vaulted ceiling by the bar, window seating in the bar area, and a quieter seating area to the east side of the bar. There were a lot of bar tenders and they were all busy behind the spacious and well planned bar area! We enjoyed their cheese curds, Tex Mex burger, and Jalapeno Grilled Panini! The fries we will ask to not salt next time, but they were good. They had ample parking, great servers and bar tenders, dedicated kitchen staff, and wonderfully designed interior. They do have daily specials. Try it out when in Lake Country! read more

The food is good, just like the Milwaukee location. I've been here a few times since opening, the first time it was so loud that my husband and I didn't even try to talk. Just ate in silence with each other and got out of there as fast as we could. Since then, they tried to "fix" it and added some boards to the ceiling to help with the sound. It's slightly better, but just a bandaid. It's still not easy to hear each other. My other complaint is service. We ordered an appetizer that was missing the salsa that was supposed to be included on the side. Then I ordered chicken tenders which is supposed to come with ranch and I ordered them tossed in sauce. The tenders I received were only coated on one side and there was no ranch. I asked for sauce and ranch and waited 15 minutes before the waitress checked in and realized no one brought it to me. Then another 5 for her to get it herself from the kitchen. Then 10 minutes later the kitchen staff finally brought it out. By the time the waitress got it, my food was cold and my husband was done with his dinner. I ended up taking my meal home to reheat as leftovers because of it. Then they had the audacity to charge for the ranch and side of sauce. I was supposed to get the ranch free of charge and the sauce was requested because my tenders were not coated. I tried to push back but it wasn't removed from the bill. May just continue going to the MKE location til they work out the kinks here and get the staff well acquainted with the menu. I don't understand why they had to put in an "order" on their little tablet for the sauce that was missing, should've just gone to get it the moment they knew it was missing instead of waiting for it to run through the kitchen orders. read more
