The staff is so kind and seated us right away. The waiter was fast with orders and brought drinks like a minute after we ordered them. The food took wayyyy too long to come - like well over 40 minutes. They brought extra chips and salsa which was nice of them. The chips kinda tasted like cheap ones you get from a grocery store. The salsa was good and one of them had a nice kick to it. They brought me green salsa which also tasted fresh and was pretty good. My husband got a lime margarita and said it was amazing and quite strong. For our meals I got steak which tasted wayyy overcooked and had char on it but it almost tasted like burn as opposed to a good char flavor. The beans and rice were also just okay. My husband got the enchiladas and said they were flavorful and liked them quite a bit! Overall okay and honestly might not come back but if you're looking for okay food with good service then this would be a good spot!

We haven't been back to this location for awhile due to poor service abd food quality. As usual, we got our worse server named Carlos who spent most of his time talking and socializing with a table in tge corner. Took him about 15 minutes to come to our table to ask us what we would like to drink. Then, when we placed the order it took 20 minutes to train our dinner which was delicious but, we can tell it sat for awhile in the window in the kitchen because our food was luke warm. But, we were to hungry toast for a remake. The ambiance inside was ok.

Celebrated with lunch today with the jumbo margaritas. Way too much for me and easily could've shared with two other people. Lots of menu options, but I opted for the Cameron tacos. Shrimp was chopped up which wasn't what I expected. But it was still tasty. Chips were fresh and not greasy at all. Salsa was fresh and lots of spicy options. Rice and beans was average. All in all, it was relaxing lunch and the quesadilla was my favorite out of all. Big chunks of beef tasted roasted and flavorful.

This was my second time here and I really enjoyed my experience both times! We came at around 5:30 on a Friday night and arrived just before they got super busy. All of the employees were working really hard to provide the best service they could and it was very obvious. Our server was very friendly and all of our food came out promptly and accurately. The guacamole was a little bland but tasted really fresh, which made up for it. My chicken chimichangas were extremely cheesy, which I loved, and the rice and beans were also very flavorful and tasty. The restaurant itself is pretty bare bones and a little crowded, but it feels very small town, everybody knows everybody, which I think is cute. The blended margaritas were delicious too, give this place a try!

The service was good. They served us with 3 different Salsa along with freshly fried chips. I asked for spicy salsa and the server brought us 2 extra ones which were really great. I am giving 5 stars for the experience till then. The main food we ordered though were not that great. Our steak was over cooked and chewy. The taco shell was too hard for a soft taco. It almost felt like I was eating hard shell. Chimichanga was alright. The burrito didn't feel crispy enough. It wasn't deep fried long enough so the outer shell was soft. The portion size was good. Beans were cooked well but the rice was bland. The place was vibrant and seem like a local favorite. On a Sunday night, they had 2 huge groups and quite a lot of people. We weren't just so impressed with their tacos. If our steak weren't overcooked and our tacos weren't so hard, I would have given 4 stars.

Found out tables were only available via reservation which I thought was a bit odd for a Mexican restaurant but we were offered a seat at the bar so we jumped on that. Inside the decor was festive with a number of Frida pictures and great wallpaper in the restroom. We ordered guacamole and tacos. The guacamole came out quickly and was tasty, with a slightly sweet twist due to the pomegranate seeds and chips just as I like them. I ordered the milwalke and manolos bam bam tacos. I preferred the bam bam because it was filled a bit more but I didn't love the mayo based sauce on either. I would've preferred that on the side or, even better, an offering of salsa instead. I would've loved to review their salsa but only heard about it as I was finished up and it was offered to the couple sitting next to us at the bar. I was excited to try here but there were a few misses during our visit so we'll head to other local restaurants when we're in the area for a more satisfying meal next time.

Busy restaurant, great things are in store. We were greeted by friendly bartenders but after dropping off water, took them a long time to come back around to take our order. When they did came back, it was to ask us to accommodate another couple at the bar by sliding over, rather than take our order. Eventually we ordered, guac of course and a few tacos each. The guac came out super quick, which was a good thing because the tacos took forever, like 30 minutes or more. Which for tacos, should never take that long. We also had to ask for napkins and utensils at this time. The food showed up, quesa-birria and the brisket. The brisket taco was excellent. If I come back, I'll order those. The birria was soggy and lacked the crispiness expected from something called birria. Even tho there was consomme called out in the description, non was provided. What made it worse is when the food was delivered to a couple near by, they were offered salsa and all the things. Felt like we missed out on things. It should have been better. Not sure I'll give it another try.

Followed by the Lengua tacos. WOW. Of course you have to try the Quesabirria Tacos w/consume. Dynamite! My wife always gets the chicken enchilada in salsa roja, my daughter a quesadilla (she boring). Jalisco has the BEST sides of rice and beans I've ever had in a Mexican establishment, great flavors and respect for the ingredients and cooking process so everything shines through. They have Elote too, not quite the traditional way but damn I can't stop eating it! I've tried almost the whole menu; the lomo en salsa de arbol, carne asada, chile rellenos, bistec à la mexicana, gorditas w/carnitas & chorizo. I could eat here everyday! It's a cute little place with great service. Recently I caught some World Cup action while we waited. Different beers and sodas (Modelo, Jarritos) are available, as well as fresh guacamole and pico de gallo. They make a spicy taco salsa that's the right amount of heat and flavor. Give the a try, you won't regret it! Never errored an order of mine either, very consistent - and affordable! Like wow!

Firstly, the service is amazing. All the staff are so friendly and polite. You are free to sit wherever you would like upon arriving, and a waiter follows you shortly to your table to drop off chips and salsa and inquire about drinks. Soon after that, you are asked what you would like for your main course, a question which I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to be fulfilled. They are so so efficient here with zero sacrifice to the quality of their dishes. The guacamole is so creamy and delicious, and the steak and chicken tacos are personal favorites of mine. Everything is seasoned excellently. The inside is homey and quaint, and has cozy seating which is never too crowded. It is a comfortable space. There are many dining options in the area, and I have recommended Senor Tomas to many friends over the years. Last night I had an unpleasant experience. I am a (somewhat) senior citizen at 67, and my GF recommended a few alternate places, but it was such a beautiful evening that I recommended that we go to ST and dine on the patio. We walked onto the patio and stood waiting to be seated. My GF has a problem with her foot, and standing and walking can be painful. I asked the waitress/hostess if we could please be seated. She said that someone would seat us. There were 12 or 14 tables and only 2 had people seated at them. We stood there waiting for maybe 5 or 10 minutes, and I finally decided to just seat ourselves (even if temporarily) at a small table with 2 chairs. After a few minutes, the Manager abruptly charged out of the restaurant door to our table with a very angry look on his face. He did not greet us, but instead said "Do NOT seat yourselves, if you do, you run the risk not being noticed or served at all". I corrected him and told him politely in a calm voice that we HAD asked to be seated, but were not, so we sat down. He did not apologize, but left if a huff. I guess the customer is NOT always right. I noticed that the Manager thanked other tables as they left, but he ignored us (fine) We completed our (great) meal, drinks and desert. The bill was over $100, and we tipped generously. Maybe the Manager was having a bad day, but he should not take it out on his customers. I am not sure if we will return to what was one of our favorite local restaurants.

When we finally got our beverages, the server forgot the straws so we waited several more minutes for that. When our food arrived, we still had not received the appetizer we ordered. When I asked about it, I got a blank stare. Finally received the appetizer well into our meal. I asked for extra napkins. Was finally given one along with an extra set of silverware with a napkin around it and the server mumbled something about that being all they had. Watch out when you get your bill They show a cash price and a credit card price. Then they show suggested tip amounts of 20%, 25% and 30% and it's based on the credit card total, not cash total which is pretty shady if you ask me as it indicates not only do they want to charge you an extra percentage to use your card but they want you to top on that extra percentage too. Definitely will not be returning. We were so looking forward to trying a new place and ended up being very disappointed.
