Cup of clam chowder
Rick R.

First time here. The blue gill fish fry was on my list to try. The fries on Yelp photos indicates fresh cuts. My fries were frozen fries tonight, not fresh cuts, or I would have ordered tots. The fries were fine, but when I'm expecting fresh cut fries, anything else is a disappointment. The blue gill breading was nicely seasoned and crisp, but it had a fishy taste. Fried fish shouldn't taste like "fishy." The clam chowder was one of the best I've had, so that was the highlight of my dinner, aside from the good service.

Breaded mushrooms, handmade french fries, Jamaican rub chicken wings, Asian barbecue chicken wings.

We have been coming to this bar for about five years. This is the first time we had a carry out. We tried the Jamaican dry rub chicken wings, the Asian barbecue chicken wings, fried mushrooms, and homemade french fries. The guy that answered the phone was so polite and very helpful. They took my credit card over the phone and all I had to do was call when I was in front of the restaurant and someone ran it out. The chicken wings were big and flavorful, and we loved both the sauces. The mushrooms were hand breaded and very good. I hate frozen mushrooms. The handmade french fries were also really tasty. Definitely try those place!

Have been wanting to try out this years Sticky Fingers winner for "Best Wings" for a while. Tuesday's are $.50 wing night so why not try them at a great price. The place itself still needs a ton of work but you can see that slowly, but surely, the new owners are making changes. We had no problems finding street parking although is wasn't very busy yet. The bartender was also the waitress and she was very sweet and outgoing. She proudly talked about the menu and about all the homemade food. We started with the Reuben rolls. Yum, yum!! The wings were delish!!! We got some mild and the rest were plain with a couple sauces on the side. The apricot habanero is a must try and if you really like garlic, try the garlic Parmesan!!! I've heard that the fish fry is very good so I'll definitely give that a try. Great quality food. Hopefully the area and look of the place won't scare people away.

Any review comes down to what you order and how the service is so no two reviews will be the same…read morebut I have eaten here 3 times now with different meals and based on a co workers experience with the burgers I tried bobs bacon cheeseburger with tots. I ordered my bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and raw onions with no condiments like ketchup etc for an unbiased tasting of the cheeseburger with American cheese. My take out container was weighty and looked good. The cheeseburger was big and no recently popular thin burger smash burger with 3 whole strips of bacon. The tator tots were crisp on the out side soft and chunky on the inside. The toppings were fresh as the bun. The burger was not seasoned but salt helped with a good char broiled flavor which is the bomb for me. The cookie is always a nice touch with the sandwiches. This is a tasty cheeseburger for sure.

NOW that is one AWESOME Fish fry. The ultimate platter will definitely satisfy your hunger…read more 2 fried cod + baked cod + walleye + 2 perch + 5 shrimp + choice of potato + slaw+ bread + dessert.
