The Chicken Pot Pie it was HUGE like the size of a basketball (no lie)
    Alyssa F.

We came here for a birthday party which was hosted across a few tables in a large room kind of off the main dining/bar spaces. We had 3 TVs in the space. The staff was accommodating about turning on the specific basketball game on that we wanted to watch (March Madness was going on). We had one designated server which made service slower than I would have expected for a party of our size. But she hustled and stayed on top of things for the most part. Their menu online does NOT match the menus they have at the restaurant. As a vegetarian I always peruse menus online to make sure there's something I can eat. They had impossible burgers listed online and not on the printed menu. Turns out they are phasing out the impossible patties and had one available for me (yay!) I liked my burger but thought the tots were way better than the fries I ordered. Someone in our party ordered a chicken pot pie and it was HUGE. Incredible portion for the price, wow. Another big hit at our table was the beer cheese and the alcoholic shakes (Blue Moon and Shamrock). Theres a big arcade inside which was popular with the kiddos. Overall, I think it's a solid spot to watch a Brewer's game and have some bar food. Try the Chicken Pot Pie!

    French onion soup

Although the atmosphere was nice, the prices and quality of food wasn't, in my opinion. Went with friends for dinner. I ordered a bowl of French onion soup. While the amount of cheese was plentiful I found the soup to be very salty so only ate about 1/2 of the bowl. My husband ordered the mushroom burger and onion stack. The burger itself was $18 and you had to pay extra for a side which we found kind of ridiculous. My friend got the prime rib sandwich and was not impressed. The waitress was nice and attentive. Won't be back.

    Mushroom burger and onion straws

First time at this location. Huge selection is a plus, and nice selection of beers too.Service was fast in terms of how fast food came out. My biggest problem and why I don't recommend them,is there prices. My burger alone was almost $18 and even though there are a lot of side choices, they are all charged for extra on top of the burger,so it was like over $20 for a burger and onion straws. The burger was cooked correctly and had a good taste, but not for the kind of money they are asking .Your bill will be very high if you bring the family .If their prices weren't so high I would recommend them.

    Prime rib bites

This is my first time trying Points Burger Bar. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I started with the ward's signature prime rib bites. It was $8.45 for 6 bites, meh. It was extremely dry, I understand trying to get the bacon crispy but it dried out the rib bites inside. I did like the horseradish sauce that came with though. Of course, I had to try a burger. I wanted to go with the Point Burger but with a lettuce wrap instead but the bartender said if I wanted to make any changes I would have to do a custom burger. Which if I did the same exact burger custom it actually comes out to be cheaper. What a rip off. I ended up making a custom burger - they pretty much charge for every ingredient possible Prime Angus: $8.95 Lettuce Roll Note: Lettuce roll = lettuce bed/nest Montamore Cheese: $1.45 Truffle Aioli: $.45 Note: They even charge for plain mayo, eye roll Jalapenos: $.95 Sauteed Onion: $.45 Tator Tots: $.45 They did not serve me a burger, they served me a slab of meat on top of pretty much shredded iceberg lettuce. I ate my "burger" with a fork. The burger itself was nothing special. Save yourself $ and skip Point Burger Bar. It's overpriced and you're better off getting a burger from Kopps.

    Cheese curds overpriced and average

Forget Dave and Buster's and Chuck-E-Cheese this is your best option for food and entertainment for the kids in the area. Tons of beer options for Mom and Dad, huge arcade, and an awesome go kart track are all on site at this location. Caught an evening meal here with family and friends a couple weeks back. Burgers here are super solid. Also enjoyed the waffle fries. Beautiful dining room and humongous bar. Probably at least 20 different beers on tap also bottled options and mixed drinks. Also tried cheese curds for an appetizer which were just average. Large game room with Skee-Ball, pop-a-shot, and numerous other arcade and ticket games. Indoor go kart track is located behind the arcade. Super fast and fun go karts. They're also run on electricity so you don't get those nasty fumes in your throat. Really pleased with my outing here. Great alternative to dining in the city.

How much do the games in the arcade cost? Comparable to D&Bs?

It is very comparable. We bought a $10 card with a kids meal so we could see what the arcade was like. Got a handful of games in off of that. All the games are worth different amounts.

I was here for a birthday dinner. We had a table that faced the window, so we had a great view of the lake. It was a Saturday, and they even had a guitarist playing music, which was a nice touch. We ordered the smash burger and the salmon. The meat in the burger was very tender and flavorful. It melts in your mouth. We chose the truffle fries with it and these complemented the burger nicely. I liked the fries more than the burger. The salmon came with crispy skin on top, which is my favorite part of salmon. The best part of that dish was the crispy roasted brussels sprouts, probably the best I ever had! So rich and savory! They made my partner's birthday special with a dessert on the house. We shared a rumchata bread pudding, which was sweet but not overpowering. They even wrote "happy birthday" in chocolate and gave him a handwritten card. They really went above and beyond. This was such a nice experience. I can't wait to come back again!

My girlfriend and I made reservations in advance through Yelp, and it was the right call because this place is busyyy, especially on a Friday night. We were sat at a hightop and quickly greeted by a very friendly server. She never once made us feel rushed, which is always appreciated. For drinks, we both got the a gin-based cocktail called 'dress to empress' which had tasty lychee infused syrup and lime juice. Very refreshing. We also shared the brussel sprouts app and oh my gooooodness I could order that 10x over. Not to mention the portion was massive. It had big pieces of shaved parmesan, a honey aioli and some kind of chili oil. So darn good. I went with the salmon entree. Loved the fingerling potatoes and other accoutrements that came along with it. The salmon itself was A-OK. Like good but I've definitely had better. But there was the slightest bit of fishy-ness to it. Overall, wonderful experience. Would return no doubt.

We both have always loved the salad and soup bar there (matter of fact, I'll often just order that for lunch or dinner), and as always, the soups were hot and tasty and the salad bar offerings were fresh, and the area was well maintained and cleaned. There were several choices for both breakfast and lunch entrees; I enjoyed the fried fish and beef burgundy, while my husband said both the fried chicken and the beef (I think it was prime rib) were good, but the beef was on the tough side. The French toast was puffy and moist, but the Belgian waffles were hard and bone dry. The scrambled eggs were rather dense, but the bacon, sausage, and cheesy potatoes were, we agreed, flavorful. The dessert selection was meager, primarily cookies and some bar cookies, and the breakfast pastry selections were rather tasteless and beginning to harden. I'd guess they'd been out for awhile. Our pleasant server was prompt with keeping our beverages topped off and clearing the table. This restaurant, due to its rustic look, is always darker than most restaurants; as this was daytime and our dining air had few windows, brighter lighting would have been nice.

It's a busy place so we had to wait about 10 minutes on a Saturday morning, but I was OK with it. The building itself is pretty good sized. They have a couple of different rooms with lots of tables and booths. They also have some tables outside to wait at, but I'm not sure if they have an actual outdoor patio to eat at. The service was great and everyone was friendly. They all definitely work well as a team. I started out with just a plain black coffee. They also have iced coffees and Frappuccino type coffees. I believe they have juices and can even make some cocktails like mimosas. They did offer me sugar and cream with my coffee, but I just like my coffee black so that's how I ordered it. For my entrée, I ordered the village omelette and added gyro. It comes with spinach, tomatoes, and feta so the gyro meat sounded delightful in it. It also came with a choice of side, and I opted for fresh fruit. And then finally, you can choose between pancakes or toast. I went with plain sourdough toast. Everything was great and super fresh. The omelette was filling and well-made. They have a gyro sandwich and based on that omelette, I would definitely get the sandwich. The meat was tender and flavorful. And the feta gave the perfect little salty tang. I actually want to re-create the omelette that I had there here in Kansas City because it was so so good. The fruit was fresh and was mainly just honeydew and cantaloupe. And the toast was a perfect vehicle for some of the omelette to my mouth. Overall, I loved this brunch spot.
