Good service. Food not so good. We all ordered the steak sizzler. It's kind of cool since it comes sizzling on this hot metal/wood thing where it continues to cook there at your table. I ordered my medium and it was well done. Rather dry. And it was completely tasteless. One of the most bland steaks I've ever had and certainly the worst one at any pub. The side salad was the best part of the meal. The parking lot was practically empty and there were hardly any people in the pub. For a Saturday, this was surprising. Maybe it's because of the lacklustre food.

Until my last trip here I hadn't been to this pub for about 10 years. It was interesting to see that nothing had changed, except the menu, slightly. The food was pretty good, surprisingly. I found it to be much better prepared than most pub food and they had some good options on the menu beyond your normal fare. The waitress was really on the ball and got us everything we needed promptly. My beer glass was never empty as she always had a refill to the table as I was taking the last sip of my previous bevvy.

Riverbend Station is our stop whenever my team ends up playing an Ultimate Frisbee game in Riverbend. On a Tuesday night, you shouldn't have any troubles finding a place for your sports team to sit. The pub is pretty spacious, and not usually that busy this early in the week. The food is on par with most pub food, large quantities, pretty tasty, reasonably priced. Although the French onion soup a couple of my teammates ordered last night came with a *massive* pastry topper. Sitting on top of a white bowl, it looked like the largest mushroom I've ever seen. The inside of the pub is pretty dark, so on hot days, it'll be a cool place to be. The TVs are pretty well all positioned for a good view from wherever you're sitting, so if pubs and sports is your thing, you and Riverbend Station should get along. A poster on the wall also said they host karaoke on Thursdays and Sundays.

I live in Riverbend within stumbling distance of this pub. The draught selection is decent though I wish there was guest draughts. One annoying thing is there used to be a beer list for every table now there is only a handfull which is really inconvienient as the servers are usually busy and can't always recite the entire list. I a few months ago I discovered the lunch steak sandwich special which is good value for the price (recently jumped to 7.95 but still a bargain). I also really like the daily soup features which you can get as a side instead of the usual fries. read more

Living nearby, this had become my go to place for beer, wings or to watch the game. They have great drink and food specials throughout the week, karaoke and pool. It's pretty standard add far add pubs go. I'd say the food is average and service is good. If you're going for wings I'd recommend the saucy ones as the dry wings (salt and pepper, Cajun, etc) don't have much flavor on them. The chili Lime wings are a must try though read more

Under new management. Food was awful. Tasteless beef dip on hotdog bun, yuck! Sunday was prime rib special. Only special if you like roast beef that was grilled, and dry. Prime rib is not to be grilled and served without au jus. After placing complaint management did not come to our table to hear concerns, we were only offed a discount. Only good thing was nice Renovation. read more

After further discussion, they comped both entrees and provided a $25 gift certificate, which was a fair gesture and appreciated. The GM and Bobby personally apologized and invited us to ask about "little surprises" in the wine cellar next time, which was a nice touch. Overall, great wine and recovery effort, but the kitchen timing and food temperature need serious improvement. Hoping for a better experience next time because the potential is there.

The hotel takes the full amount of the charge for the room at the time of booking, not at the time of check in and keeps the money regardless of when you cancel if it falls "in their black out period" that is not clearly identified when booking those dates. You better not have plans change or have a family emergency! RIP OFF. Buyer beware, do not book.
