The ramp outside goes to the upper door and the bathrooms are on that level. The tp and paper towel dispensers and sink are at a great spot- something not all places achieve actually- and the bar can be reached via the lower level if your avoiding stairs. There is a small lip inside from the top door, and a small staircase down to the bar area. The music hasn't ever been too loud when I've visited- which is a huge bonus for me. I had a great espresso martini and a really good mezcal Negroni. Maya said that was the first mezcal one she'd made and was glad to add another variation, she did a fantastic job with it. I ordered the drink and went to find a seat with my friends. Even though it was fairly crowded, there was ample seating. Jill and Kayne, who previously created KAU at Revolution Mill before selling it to Pepper Moon, also own Old Town Draft House and Boulder's Bar and Grill. Each and every one is amazing in its own way. Old Town has been one of the longest standing establishments, and it puts out incredible food! Burgers, wraps, apps, salads, wings, sandwiches, Philly's, even a burrito... you name it. Pretty much everything that comes out of this kitchen is a hit. Today I had the chicken Philly. Yep, the best chicken Philly I've had in a very long time. The classic soft Philly hoagie, chicken that's tender and juicy, peppers and onions full of flavor with the perfect consistency (not too limp, not too raw), all topped with oozing cheese that they're not shy with. I'm salivating just thinking about it as I write this...may have to go get another one tomorrow lol. The housemade chips and dip were perfect with it. There's no table service, and it is seat yourself, but the bartenders were very attentive, and it was never difficult to place an order at the bar. We ordered a few beers and decided to get deviled eggs and the pretzels as appetizers to share. Food came out very quickly. The pretzels were pretty good, but I've had better elsewhere. Rather than being crispy, they were soft and a bit soggy, but the flavor was great. The beer cheese was on point, although I would've preferred a spicy brown mustard over yellow mustard. The deviled eggs were a bit of a letdown, because it was just a hard-boiled egg cut in half with a little bit of sweet chili peppers and dressing that tasted like 1000 Island on top. When I think of deviled eggs, I anticipate the egg yolks being removed, mixed with a few ingredients, and piped back in. For what was basically two eggs cut in half, the six-dollar price tag was steep. Overall, we had a great experience, although I would likely choose different food options next time. The bar staff were very friendly and it was a week night so very easy to have a conversation about their bar as it was quiet there. I found out the bar has been opened about 2 months which becomes apparent when you look around. They have nice new comfortable chairs, coffee tables and decorations around the room and at the bar. It was clean and attractive. During the evening hours there is a very nice vibe here. Not too busy during the week nights, you can expect a very chill atmosphere with low lighting, very relaxing. After my drink arrived I noticed a set of stairs that led to the roof so I took my drink and climbed the stairs to see what more Revival had to offer. After arriving at the stair top I opened the door and got a pleasant breeze of fresh night air and I noticed the roof top area was set up for guests. There were tables and chairs along the railing for guests to enjoy the city views along with a convenient second bar. Such a pleasant way to spend some time with friends, take in the views while sipping on a nice beverage. I think the amenities that Revival has makes it different from other such businesses and it should do well with a sports field nearby where friends can stop in after a night of watching Baseball or Soccer games. This is a hidden gem tucked between all my other favorite spots on Trade. Arriving on a Tuesday around 8pm, it was not crowded at all and even better, there was music bingo going on. I was also glad they served wine, in addition to beer and cocktails, because that's all that I wanted a glass of! It was perfectly chilled and we enjoyed sitting outside at one of the long picnic tables while enjoying the weather and sunset. Inside is a small but vibrant and decorative spot with some cozy seating and regular high top bar seats.
