I went there to grab an burger cause I was too lazy to drive somewhere and didn't want to pay ubereats upcharge just for a burger and was pleasantly surprised. I got the bbq burger with double patty and double cheese. The patties are huge! Honestly, I would've just gotten a single if I had known they were that huge but it was the most satisfying burger I've had in a while. This may be my I'm too lazy to go anywhere burger place now.

I'm jealous. Why Austin has more great food trucks and fabulous food truck parks than Houston? I was introduced by Phillip B about his love with Stonehouse Wood Fire Grill's burgers. When I first arrived in Austin, I had to stop by to check out this place. Chase, the chef, was so friendly and easy to talk to. He gave me a quick introduction about the food. I was freezing cold and I didn't want to ruin my dinner with Tracey S. So, I ordered the 4" pecan pie ($5). It was so yummy and it was not as sweet as other pies I had before. Next day, I had The Wake-Up Call Burger. It came with a sunny-side up and the yolk created a dripping mess as I bit to it. I wanted another pecan pie, but they were sold out. I chatted with Anna, owner/operator about how I found this place on Yelp (after the address corrected). She was appreciative. I've never been to their previous location. After I saw the photos from last biz page, I like this location at Mueller Lake Park. In combination with other food trucks, Stonehouse Wood Fire Grill makes a perfect sense for meat-hungry folks after their workout in the park. I found more seating areas besides in front of the food trucks. It looks like I'll be back to Austin more often. I bookmarked it on my GPS, I'll stop at Mueller Lake Park to relax, watch the ducks and enjoy another Chase's creative burger.

Stopped by this place on a whim and it was so good!! The owner was so nice and friendly!! I ordered a chicken salad and talk about yum!! I really enjoyed the chicken it was seasoned and prepared so well. Had a little kick to it nothing to crazy. The ranch was divine. I'm a ranch lover so there is that. We can back for snow cones and the were the old time kind. The kids loved them and the were very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back when in the area to try more things!! I would have to say the customer service was the reason for 5 stars. She was friendly and welcoming!!

Combo was not entered correctly as $2.50. Did not tip!

While I came back to this spot for some more Booty Locos, I decided to try Stonehouse over Conscious Cravings. Debating between the lamb pita and the ATX burger, I went with the latter. It was damn good! However, the toppings were not--in fact--toppings. They were sides. The jalapenos and avocado were literally on the side of my burger and the bacon fell out upon my first bite (see pic). I loved the bun but I didn't like how each bite tasted wildly different. I also uploaded a picture of my receipt because the cashier did not charge me $2.50 for the combo...he made a quick $.50!

So thankful I can call ahead to pick up, especially during this time. My order was ready in 10 minutes! I can't wait to be able to sit outside to enjoy my food, but for now, this is a great alternative.

I pass by this food truck all the time. I decided to stop and try it out. The menu is simple. However the prices reflect a restaurant with servers and decent seating. I think it's a little pricey plus tips are expected. Hey it may be Austin. So I decided to go with a simple one party burger and fries. Still spent $9. I'll put cheese on it myself for free at home since i got it to go. While I waited in the heat for my order the air smelled really good. Which made my wait not so bad. I could waited in the car with Ac. Anywho once I got my food I went home and enjoyed it. Was it $9 worth, nah, will I come back, sure just to try the $12 philly cheese steak. So all in all its a good spot with multiple trailers. If you like this type of food it won't hurt you to try it.

ATX burger from Stone House! Messy and awesome.

Love their burgers! It's very easy to order ahead to avoid the wait (burgers are made to order).

The creole/cajun…read moreflavors are so unique and such an excellent twist to break away from the mundanity of "just another BBQ spot." The Food I Got/What You Should Get: - Pulled Duck: MUST TRY! The pulled duck was an absolute showstopper. It was incredibly moist and tender that it basically melted like butter when I ate it. And with the chicharrón, it was absolutely excellent. I actually cried. Don't judge me but I literally cried. - Sliced Brisket: Your run of the mill brisket with both moist and dry portions. Not a standout by any means but still great. - Pimento Mac and Cheese: MUST TRY! My favorite side and one that I am now recommending to anyone that will let me tap about it. The creaminess of the cheese sauce was perfectly balanced with an explosion of robust creole flavors. I actually think it might be the best in the city. - Cream Corn Maque Choux: A nice soulful blend of that creole based seasoning that is a nice answer/touch away from terry blacks sweet cream corn. Highly recommend. Other Things to Know - They have two sauces that you can try. I recommend their tabasco vinegar red sauce which they say they make with a strawberry purée. The creole mustard is good but the red sauce is so unique and flavorful. - The pickles are also a really surprising stand out as well. If you are a pickle lover, you will absolutely adore these. Service/Experince - Parish runs a food truck that runs outside of Austin Beerworks back area. - Something to consider is that it did not have an awning when we first came here and during the Austin summer that was a big deal. We could t stay outside for more than 4-5 minutes but luckily the buzzers they give you can reach the inside of the Beerworks. - The staff was extremely friendly and were willing to chat through all of the different ways they make their food, sauces and etc. I really appreciated their kindness as I talked their ear off about food in Austin haha. - The area where the trailer sits was under construction when we first went so it was a little dusty with construction signs everywhere, but that never deterred me from a good meal!! Overall: - This is a must try place to eat. Go get some BBQ and then go inside to get a beer from Austin Beerworks. What an incredible edition to the city!

The birria special is a must get of course. The consomme is so delicious, (it kind of reminded me of pho) and the birria tacos were so good. They fill that thing all the way up! And the meat and cheese ratio is perfect. We also got the birria reuben. Also so good, it was a nice mix of tender meat and the sauerkraut with the golden buttery bread. Plus the fries were so addicting. Truly the crispiest fries I've ever had. The caramel churros were the perfect finish. So hot and fresh with the caramel inside. And it was surprisingly not too sweet. Only downside is that their seating area is literally one table in the hot sun, so I definitely see this as more of a takeout spot and you just eat at home.

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.
