We had a large group of 12 for an early dinner around 6:30 on a Tuesday. The only employee working warned us that she was by herself and it may take 20 minutes or more for our order. We were committed since it was highly recommended by my Son who lives near by. When the food came out it looked great and tasted the same. A few of us had burgers that were not as hot as we would have preferred. That is the reason for only 4 stars. The fries were great and the place is very cool. FAST FACTS: * Parking - street parking available nearby but plan to walk a couple blocks if it's busy * Ordering - you can walk up and order or place your order from your phone on their website and pick it up from the counter when it's ready * Delivery - available online through Postmates * Open daily until 1:30 am * Located inside Whistler's so bring an ID to get in and you can't bring outside drinks (including water bottles) SERVICE: I visited on a Saturday night around 7:45 pm and was able to grab a table. I ordered on the app with an estimated time of 8:15 pm for my order to be ready but got the text to pick it up right at 8:00 pm. The workers at the window were friendly despite being busy! PRICING: The total was $38.97 after tax and before tip for a Golden Burger ($12), Original Chicken Sandwich ($10), and Tiger Fries ($14). The portion sizes are a little small for the price but the quality of the food was great. GOLDEN BURGER (8/10): The patties have great flavor and are the perfect thickness for a smash burger. The lettuce and onions were fresh and crispy and the pickles are delicious! The bun is a Martin's potato bun so it's soft, but does kind of fall apart. I had to add some ketchup to give it done moisture back- I know sacrilege in Texas. The special sauce was ok - it's not thousand island with a slightly tart aftertaste. The red onions were ok but they were chopped kind of big with a couple of bigger slices and the bits kind of gravitated to the back of the bun so I got allot of onion in the last bites. They start using their online ordering system once it starts to get busy. We ordered the Thai chicken sandwich, Patty melt (special of the day), loaded fries and original wings. Mason and Jamie running the truck are super nice and they have a great menu. I got a chicken sandwich for $8 and skipped the option to add a half order of fries for $3. They tell me they're handmade, so I'll have to try them next time. I just went for the OG chicken sandwich tonight and damn it was good. Piping hot, deliciously moist chicken, not too much breading, and a great sauce. It was bigger than I expected for the price and just great. I can't wait to go back and try the Thai Chicken Sandwich.
