After catching up with my friend, I walked through the entryway into a completely different world. Well, country, I guess. There were racks of beautiful belly dancer outfits, statues of Egyptian gods, jewelry, papyrus prints, just awesome. I stayed to chat with the owner, Dee Dee, who is ridiculously sweet and helpful. I left with 20 postcards to send friends from "Little Egypt." :)

They really seem to enjoy working there and they know where everything is. It's best to go when you have time to really look. It's a big warehouse and you don't want to miss out. No men or children are allowed at the sale. The dressing room is one big room with mirrors and racks for your clothes. It works fine. People are very respectful. I really love this sale. I go every chance I can. It seems like they have 4, maybe 6 sales a year. There is one man that is outside the door who is very kind. He helps with parking and I've seen him helping women with their packages. Thank you all who make this warehouse sale possible. It feels really good to get quality clothes at such a great price!

Tipped off by an article in the Lake Highlands Advocate email I decided to try it. Great decision on my part. Out of an extended menu which includes a variety of both sweet and savory flavors I opted for three. Movie Theater, Dill Pickle, and the Chicago Blend. All three were great but the Chicago Blend captured my heart - a marriage of cheddar and caramel popcorn. Other flavors yet to be tried include, but are not limited to, chocolate cherry, caramel apple, and pina colada. There's also a wide array of both packaged and bulk candy as well as various gift type items. Their website also features item specific to their Lake Highlands neighborhood. All in all a delicious addition to the area. I wonder if Vector Brewing would allow me to take some dill pickle popcorn when I want to grab a beer?
