I desperately needed a new and experienced stylist and found very positive comments on Yelp for The Strand Hair Studio, and specifically Francine. By some miracle, she had an opening the same day as my call. My hair was a disaster after trying to grow out a bad cut for six months, but she was undaunted and very skilled with long thick wavy hair. Within minutes I was completely confident and comfortable with her approach and she went to work! I am beyond thrilled with the end result and feel very rejuvenated and pretty! Francine is a master stylist and clearly loves her work. She is so kind and approachable and that put me at ease. The salon feels high end without any attitude or pretense. Products are top notch and were never pushed the way other stylists have in salons. (I had to ask!) The salon is a good 35-45 min drive for me and Francine is worth the trip! read more

Brenda colored, cut and blew dry my hair. She did an excellent job. I worked at a hair salon for 4 yrs. and from my own experience in the hair industry I can say with certainty that Brenda is a perfectionist. I have probably one of the Thickest head of hair in the world (NOT EXAGGERATING!!!) people always ask me if I'm wearing extensions -- and she handle it no problem!! I moved to the area a year ago and was really nervous about finding a new stylist to do my cut and color. I can't say enough on what a fantastic job Brenda did! She styled it just like I wanted. The over all experience was great and I will definitely be coming back and recommending The Strand Hair Studio to my family and friends. All the staff was nice. I was greeted nicely by a woman at the front desk, then I meet Brenda which we had girl talk together and a lovely lady offered me something to drink. Ana is the best stylist I have been to which is why I keep coming back! She provides excellent service and friendly conversation! Ana makes you feel right at home! To add to Ana's custom service, the Strand Salon has the most comfortable stylist and wash chairs ever! They are like sitting in your living room recliner. Last, I have never used the Kevin Murphy products before but my highlights are super bright and blond this time around and the conditioner is outstanding! Great salon! Highly recommend! read more

This is a beauthiful salon and only top of the line products are used. I can't even tell you how amazing Francine is. I have hair that makes most hair stylists cringe and she not only brought my hair back to health but transformed my hair to the best hair I have ever had, and I am not exagerating.
