I might change my ratings if I decide to go back and grab another boba drink. But for now, it has to be a 3 star. I yelped for boba around the area and this place came up. Lots of positive reviews so I was quite excited to try it out. I want to test the water and go on the safe side and order a regular milk tea. When it came out, to my surprise, it was chocolate color. I was a boba virgin, so to speak, so I really can't compare this to any other boba joints. Either way, it was a wonderful experience! I went with the chocolate peanut butter milk smoothie with boba. My husband got a fruit smoothie mixed with strawberry, kiwi, and mango (plus boba of course). We tried each other's, both were amazing! My smoothie was very filling, I had to save the last third for later! They are also very generous with the boba. The cafe itself is very hip. There are various graffiti-like drawings all over the walls, and a cupboard stacked with flyers for things like other Asian restaurants, spas, anime cons, raves, and other miscellany. We went in literally a minute before they were about to close, so it wasn't busy at all. We were the only folks there. I plan on being a regular here! So a friend wanted to try a new boba place since our go-to place at Boba Tea House (LeeLee's) was awesome. Yelp suggested this and off we go. I do love the decor. Very manga, japanimation, harajuku-esque walls and you can definitely spend a whole lotta time just looking at the walls. I got the red bean boba (soy, of course) and it was a-ok (hence my 3 stars). There were lots of boba in it plus red beans, which was new and pretty good but it didn't have that yowza! that I get from Boba Tea House. My friend had the diamond ice and it was again, a-ok. I LOVE the taro smoothie with boba and I will continue driving out of my way to come here every few weeks. Some other places have grainy and powdery drinks, but this place has been consistently fabulous. The almond milk tea and the avocado smoothie are also yummy! read more

Our boba smoothies took a while to come out but I liked it a lot! My wife wasn't a huge fan of how thick hers was but she thought the flavor was great too. The price is good too!also, the atmosphere of the place is pretty cool too. All in all, it's a good place that'd I'd recommend. read more

This is my favorite boba joints in Arizona. The oldest and still alive! I enjoy their diamond ice because it's so fine and makes me so full after finishing it. I usually order their mini which is a pretty big size. They only have one size drink which eliminates confusion and having to decide. read more

This place is always good. We've been here a million times and will certainly keep coming back. It is probably the only out of myriad places in the valley which does not cheap out on their matcha. The green tea latte comes out with so much flavor all the time. Their prices are more than reasonable and you always get a huge serving. You don't even have to tell them to make it less sweet or less ice and they use actual milk (instead of those premixed fake powders). Too bad more places aren't like this one. read more

Okay so I signed up for a Yelp account specifically so I could write a review for this place. I have never had boba, and once I tried it from here I was addicted! So becoming addicted to this place, I went to go today (New years Day) and they were closed! :( I was so bummed, and really wanted some Thai iced tea, which I always get, so I went down the street to Boba Tea house... I will never go back there!!!!!! THE STREET is sooo much better, I could actually tell that my Thai iced tea was from powder mix (from boba tea house), and it was soooo gross!!!!! I still can't get the taste out of mouth.. Blech!! No offense to Boba tea house, but The street actually makes REAL tea and uses Real organic milk (or soy etc...) I will never go anywhere else! Loved this place, the drinks are very reasonably priced, yummy and the ramen was delicious! The drinks are also well made which is very important. If you are hungry, I recommend you get the boba drink combo with the ramen and dumplings, it comes with a lot of ramen and has the perfect amount of spice. I tried the taro blended drink which is perfect for a sweet tooth craving and the honey milk tea which is more mellow. The people taking our order and making it were very kind and fast! They have rose boba tea!! Ever since I've had rose boba tea in LA, I've been trying to find somewhere in the Valley that had it. We actually found this place kind of on accident. We happened to be in the area and this place came up in our Yelp search results. I was full from lunch and wasn't going to get anything... until I saw they had rose boba tea! Really hip place to be at. You can draw in the wall. Bring your own drawing material. The drinks are inexpensive and they have ramen! For 7 bucks you can get a bowl of ramen and a boba drink! I have not tried the ramen, but I will be back to try it. Today, I ordered a Milk tea with boba. $3.00 for the large cup of milk tea and $0.50 for the topping. They do not cheat you with ice. Best Feature: Graphitti This plays wins so hard! The first time I saw boba was in 2005. A friend had brought a cup to class and I detested the idea. "Why would you eat when you're drinking!?" I said. "How is that any different that soggy bread?" I just didn't get it. Flashforward to the next year. My friend and I went to The Street because all the coffee places were closed on some holiday. The moment I walked in I saw that the walls were scribbled on by some local artists (famous and would-be's) and knew that I had to join in. I drew a picture of a panda and a dinosaur on the eastern wall and put a sticker up on the western one(it was taken down later). I then decided I ought to partake in this "boba" stuff. It was awesome! I had a mango green tea with boba. Even poking the straw through the plastic at the top was fun. I guess it's all part of the experience. Over the next semester, I came in once a week after band practice and talked with the owner. I learned that the name comes from a Korean word which means "street", but that alot of cafes in Korea use it as their name. She was really nice and help me out with my Korean homework. This place constantly looks like it's still in an opening phase even though I think they actually have been open for a decade. The tea here isn't anything too special. The selection is limited. Bubble tea isn't hard to make well so it's still worth the trip.

The environment is nice and hip. Practically everything there is healthy! I've been there twice, will go back again too! I ordered with friends a medium diamond ice and it was enough for us four. The diamond ice is fantastic! The only place that I know has it. I've tried both ramens. The rice cake is my favorite. The dumpling ramen unfortunately only has two dumplings(or that's what we received). The flavor is nice and spicy. But be warned if your getting a strawberry milk tea! I ordered it and did not like it. It is not powdered strawberry. They add real strawberry to the milk tea, it was too tangy for me. I asked for another flavor (regular milk tea). The manager (I'm pretty sure) said it was fine and I got what I wanted! Great customer service. My friend had a hair in her drink and they made a brand new one, another friend turned out to not enjoy how much boba they put it and they kindly strained them out for her.
