This is my favorite boba spot in the area. The drinks are consistently good and the quality always seems solid. One thing that stands out right away is their green colored boba. It is a fun little twist that makes the drinks feel a bit different from the typical boba places around town. I usually order the Bootea Shaker and substitute black jelly instead of the regular boba. It is a great drink with a really nice balance of flavor. The inside of the shop is always clean and well kept, and the employees are friendly every time I go in. I usually order to go, but it does look like a nice place to sit down and hang out for a bit if you wanted to chat with friends. Overall this place does a great job and I keep coming back. read more

Milk Tea is premade. Not much effort and there are better places. They also try to charge for less ice and offer "top it off" for $0.80- haven't been to a boba shop that advertises that. Probably won't go back since there are other boba tea places that are made with high quality. read more

Tastea is a decent boba shop that you can go to for a quick boba craving fix. The interior is clean, modern, and spacious. The employees were nice even though it was almost close to closing time. They have an extensive menu but maybe because of late hours, some items were sold out and unavailable. Today we got a variety of bobas. For me, I got the strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping bobas and it hit the spot after a nice dinner we had earlier. I would recommend this place to others. I wouldn't mind coming back here if I am in the area. This isn't a spot I would drive hour out of the way to try though if that makes sense. Tastea is a tried and true boba spot! I like that they have a variety of drinks to choose from and you can adjust the level of sweetness and ice for most. You can also opt for non-dairy milk options. These guys offer a BIG 32 oz. cup, something you don't normally get at other boba shops! Sometimes they even have special drinks available for a limited time only. This particular location in Mesa has a great interior space. It has ample seating for a casual boba date with friends or a significant other. The prices aren't too steep, and the drinks are always made to my liking. They can adjust for you if needed. Surprisingly pretty good. I'm a fan of their avocado smoothie. I'm not sure how much avocado they put in there but it feels like a generous amount as the smoothie is really creamy. I also like their fruit teas. The large is really large just fyi. I recommend following the workers recommendations for levels of sweetness, been good each time :) read more

Weeee finally Tastea in Arizona! Taste used to me one of my favorite boba spots in California about 15 years ago, I know now there are so many new boba spots but I wanted to try! I got my classic milk tea, and it was so good. I just love their creamy and deep flavor of tea, and it's so good! My partner was out and about and decided to get us a little treat! I wasn't along so can't comment on service and ambience, but the food and drink were pretty good. I ordered a classic milk tea (medium sweet with honey boba). The boba wasn't quite as chewy as I prefer, but the flavor was nice. I think I may be slowly becoming a honey boba instead of a brown sugar boba gal... We also shared a Karate Chicken with the level 3 Me Soo Spicy, Strong Sauce, and basil. A lot of the pieces were really small and were just crunch without chicken in them, but the crunch and seasoning were great! I'm interested to try their spicier levels next time! I have been enjoying coming here during our hot AZ summers for a one of their refresher drinks. This location is very spacious and has plenty of room to hang out with friends or to do some networking. Tastea has a numbers of flavors on their menu to choose from. Some of them are seasonal. I enjoyed stopping in for a mango green tea and their watermelon heaven over the summer. I don't like my drinks overly sweet and like that I can adjust the sweetness level. They did forget my honey boba but quickly fixed the error. We got the strawberry smoothies and the yummy gummy smoothies. I added honey boba. It was delicious! The yummy gummy has some peaches pieces and the strawberry has some strawberry pieces. My kids didn't want the strawberry pieces so they were able to leave them out of theirs. They were also able to adjust the sweetness level of the yummy gummy which was perfect as it wasn't too sweet. My niece got the lychee peachee and it was also very good! Stopped by Tastea with some friends after dinner during their grand opening week. The staff was warm and welcoming. I saw a sign for White Rabbit drinks and was immediately drawn to it. White Rabbit is nostalgic for me and brings back great memories. White Rabbit was a childhood favorite that I hadn't had in years. I opted for the White Rabbit matcha and my husband went for the taro fantasy both with crystal boba. Both drinks were tastea! Although I enjoyed the WR matcha, I would have preferred a stronger WR flavor. It was subtle. Regardless, I look forward to returning and trying more flavors! read more

I am so glad this is in the East Valley now! I tried this once years ago on the West side and loved the chicken, but never went back because it was so far from me. Ecstatic this is nearby now because yes, the drinks are good, but I am obsessed with their Karate Chicken! It is so dang good!! The popcorn chicken comes out piping hot and the seasoning is so yummy (my mouth is watering thinking about it lol). I do think it's a bit expensive and the "large" size is too small in my opinion, but nonetheless it is tasty. We also got the Lychee Peachee drink and Strawberry Milk Tea. Just so serendipitously, some friends and I were next door having dinner when we realized Tastea was having their Grand Opening night. An Iced White Rabbit Matcha was ordered and absolutely destroyed. It was light, sweet, and the perfect way to end a meal. I can't wait for the summer menu to roll out as their Watermelon Heaven and Muddy Melons are my favorite drinks by Tastea. They also make some decent coffee here, This is a great spot. Came in for my bogo today 4/20/24! Both drinks were taste-tea!!! I got both lite sweet and less ice, but my passion attraction was definitely sweeter than my bootea shaker. Both had very light, refreshing fruity flavors, but I could definitely taste more tea in my bootea shaker. If you want more tea flavor, go with the bootea shaker! If you're feeling more fruity, you can't go wrong with the passion attraction! Seating is appropriate, slightly limited, but comfy. Service was quick and seamless, but I couldn't help notice that the shop looked a little more disheveled today than when I first visited a few weeks ago. I'm sure it was probably due to the super busy bogo day today! I also smelled a slight hint of that sewer smelling cleaner that so many of the Asian restaurants use to clean! Finally! Tastea finally has a Mesa location! Now I don't have to drive 45+ minutes to Glendale, AZ. We came here on the first day of the soft opening (3/22/24) and the interior was bright, clean, and roomy. For everybody who doesn't know this area, this was in the same plaza where Jin BBQ was and across the street from the Mekong Plaza and parking was limited. They had neon lights inside for a potentially good photo op. The staff was nice, friendly, and knowledgeable which was great. We ordered a couple of 32oz Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and a 32oz Lychee Peachie. It took a few minutes to make our drinks. The Jasmine Milk Tea with boba was good, delicious, and consistent with other Tastea locations I've been to. The Lychee Peachie was also good and consistent with other locations. We didn't try any food but that'll be on the list to try in the future. This place was great and we can't wait for their grand opening along with our many visits here in the future! read more

Hands down the BEST boba in all of Arizona. So happy they opened a second location in the east valley. It's so soft and has the best chew. You can tell they make it fresh daily/hourly. I have gone here over ten times since they opened and it's been sooooo good each and every time. I highly recommend getting the watermelon heaven drink. It's sooo refreshing. I get mine half sweet because I'm trying to be somewhat healthy.. it never misses. I also enjoy their teas as well, def recommend the peachme sweet tea. Ugh so good. Tastea is my newest addiction! The seating/chairs are all very comfortable, they have wifi, and the store is very clean... so I will definitely be back to sit with my laptop and get some work done! It's the little things and here at Tastea they know that - they greet every single guest as soon as they walk in the door... and thank them when they leave! I also saw them gladly remake a couple of drinks that weren't as ordered. I'm sure as they are open longer, they will work out those kinks, but I did not experience any issues. I ordered The Unknown and I got it hot with medium sweetness. It was just a touch too sweet, but otherwise PERFECT with the passion fruit flavor and all of those longan bits at the bottom! I will probably try the lesser sweet version next time, but this drink was still terrific! Pro tip: drink it with a straw whether you get it hot or cold so you can enjoy all of those longans in every sip! The few food items they offer all have gluten, so I will not be able to enjoy those, but I'm going there for the drinks (that are all gluten-free!) and cannot wait to try more of them! Trying this location here, the Peach Oolong Milk Tea had way too much sugar - the second lowest sweetness option "Lite" felt like 100% sweet at other tea locations. Tried to ask to adjust the sweetness after but instead had to pay for another drink. Tried the same drink but now with "None" sweetness level... and now it had the level of a 75% sweet... but tell me why I still taste sugar at "None" sweetness level?! I'm expecting Oolong Tea flavor and hints of Peach with 0 sugar... At least the Peach Me Sweettea felt appropriate for the sugar level. read more

I went asap for soft open and it was just as good as it always is, their green boba is honestly the best and softest i've ever tried.
