I dropped in here during the Crossfit Open when I was in Vegas for the weekend. It's very close to the strip, has a wide array of equipment (and the equipment is in good shape), and the coach was very friendly and knowledgeable. The regulars working out here are also quite nice and friendly: there's a very good vibe! I went in early March in the morning, so it wasn't too hot and the workout was pleasant. I have been going to the strip CrossFit for 3 months now and I enjoy it very much. The coaches, community and the program are all great. There are many available times to meet any schedule. This is far and away the best CrossFit gym I have ever been to. I moved to Vegas in May and was looking to meet new people and wanted the buddy workout environment. I was really nervous because other CrossFit gyms I have been to could definitely be hit or miss for my style. This place honestly grounded me here and gave me the community I was looking for. Literally everyone is SO nice and supportive. I have met so many new friends here. I have experienced all the instructors and they are another big bonus. They are helpful, friendly, and believe in me which makes me work harder. I've never felt ego here or intimidated which was a first for me. The equipment is great quality and well taken care of. I wanted to write this review in the Summer when I started but I was honestly waiting for the other shoe to drop....it never did. This place is 10/10. read more

I came in from out of town and had a blast! Communication was quick and easy and everyone there is extremely friendly and welcoming. As soon as we came in, everyone in the lobby greeted us and asked us how we were doing, where we were from, etc. for a gym that probably gets tons of out of town era, it was really encouraging to see how personable everyone was. The workout really pushed us and is something we won't forget from our Vegas trips. Joe (the owner) is extremely inviting and encouraging. The Strip CrossFit is an great gym that has a nice 'local' community and is very accommodating to the 'drop-in' visitors to Las Vegas. The coaches are willing and able to work with adapting the workouts for all skill and ability levels. The workouts are challenging, but don't get intimidated as you can scale the level to your needs. Extremely well run gym. Joined all throughout covid and never had any fear of cleanliness even during the worst of the pandemic. Joe and his team were extremely helpful, encouraging and engaging. They took an active role in everyone's life, reaching out when they were gone for a longer period or when anything came up. Workouts were on par for what you would expect from any CrossFit gym. A warm up period, followed by 30-45 min of hard work out and then a cool down. During the pandemic classes were spaced with a 30 min window so they could deep clean everything in-between each class. They also had full bottles of sanitizer and rags to clean equipment as you are using and all of the people attending were full into the "community" of the gym. Everyone was actively engaging the others to do better even if just the best they can do. Talent ranged from full on CrossFit competitors to beginners like me and I never felt out of place or pushed to do something dangerous I hope to find a gym just like this in my next adventure. Throughout my life, I've frequented several gyms and CrossFit boxes. I've finally found a home at the Strip Crossfit. It's within walking distance to the Las Vegas Strip, which is perfect for visitors. The entire gym, including the bathrooms and showers, is extremely clean and features all new equipment. The owner, Joe, clearly puts a lot of effort in maintaining his box. The classes feature an explanation of the workout, stretching, a step-by-step tutorial of the day's movement, a capacity building workout, and a workout of the day (wod). The coaches are all very approachable and keep a close eye on the class, providing instructions and encouragement when needed. Personally, in my first year at the Strip Crossfit, I learned to do handstand push-ups, bar muscle ups, ring muscle ups, and double-unders. My growth and improvement at the Strip Crossfit has been a lot of fun and I credit it all to the coaches (Joe, Nick, Meridith, and Kandice). This is a small gym with excellent coaches. Like most people attending this gym I popped in on vacation and needed a workout. Walking from the strip in 112 degrees was a workout in itself. However when you arrive the gym is air-conditioned. There is a locker room and showers. The drop in price is a bit higher than I've experienced at other boxes but it's Vegas everything is expensive. read more

I'm not a crossfitter, I definitely didn't ever think I would do CrossFit, but lo and behold I end up in Vegas for a few months and not only did I end up joining The Strip CrossFit and learn new skills and work out better and harder than I had before but I found a new family of friends who were so nice to an interloper coming in for a few months on the transient highway to their next location. This was my favorite thing that I did on my quick Vegas adventure! Very quick Uber if you are staying anywhere on the Strip. The box is clean, well-organized, and looks like pretty much brand-new everything. Joe, the owner, had just finished working out at the previous class and greeted me. It was nice to be welcomed even when you are (unfortunately) just coming in for a one-off class before a flight out. The WOD was petty standard CrossFit fare- exactly what I was looking for. You can drop in for a class and not feel like you missed a beat. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Lockers, showers, and towels (included in price) are a huge plus. Drop-in rate was less expensive than I was expecting. Can't wait to return to Vegas to do another class and get another cute tank top. read more

I was looking for a place to grab a wod while I was in town for a Confrence and the strip CF was only a 5 minute uber from the hotels. I arrived early too find Joe the owner just chilling out between classes. He's super cool, very approachable and kind. Talk about a top notch facility! I joined about a month ago and have now cancelled my membership because of Joseph (the founder). I thought all the trainers were nice and motivating but in my last session I attended (7/19/21), my perspective had totally changed. I am not one who regularly goes to the gym; I haven't really worked out since pre-covid and I thought crossfit could help me get back into working out, since the trainers seemed like they would support me into getting back into being active. For today's session (which Joseph was teaching) we were supposed to run 400m between every set of squats. I told Joseph I can't run, but I could bike and he said that's totally fine. But halfway into the workout, he comes up to me with the nastiest attitude and questions why I'm not running. I told him I hate running (because it is the truth) and reminded him that HE said I could bike instead. He said to me in a very harsh tone "well here is what I can do, I can cancel your membership if you're not going to follow the rules." This caught me totally by surprise; I was under the impression that the trainers were supposed to (and going to) encourage and support me as a client who trying to better myself. As someone that has been dealing with severe depression for years, it is very hard for me to motivate myself to workout; it takes a lot out of me to even show up for class. The last thing I want from my $140/month membership is to be yelled at by a man who wants to jump to conclusions and convince himself that I'm slacking off. I really do not see the big deal of me not running 400m when I can bike between sets instead. He told me before in another class that it doesn't matter if I complete the workout as long as I'm "still moving". All I can say is I am extremely disappointed in Joseph for deceiving his clients by making the strip CrossFit seem like a place where he will support and motivate you to do better. Joseph if you're reading this, I hope you can learn how to be a better trainer that can help motivate others, because you never know what someone is going through.. read more

The coaches are knowledgeable and don't push to the extreme as you would at a more localized box with a ton of pro athletes. Plus they have showers! Workout, shower, grab brunch and hit the pool. First and foremost, highly recommend joining The Strip Crossfit. If you're pit stopping in LV and need to work off the night before, this is the place to go. I sadly moved from LV to LA due to a job opportunity. I tried out a CrossFit place in LA and, no joke, immediately missed The Strip Crossfit. Not only are the coaches knowledgeable and want to help you reach your goals, they do so in a safe way at your own pace. It made me nervous when I tried out the new CrossFit place in LA and people were lifting with 4+ plates on the barbell and NO CLAMP . The Coaches understand everyone is in a different place whether you've been lifting for 10 years or just starting off. The Coaches work with you, but also challenge you to be better. The community environment is also great. Everyone is very supportive and helpful during your time there. Very much a no man left behind vibe. You're able to adjust and alter workouts based on where you are. Another great thing is that you're able to access and see the WOD the night before. I believe it helps me to know what's coming up to mentally prepare. Also there is a good variety of workouts from leg days to arm days to straight up grit interval body weight. Always keeping you on your toes, yet feeling like you're hitting every part of your body. Facility is awesome! It may seem tucked away behind the strip, but you immediately walk in and feel the positive let's do this energy. The Strip Crossfit does have showers, which for me was a big plus especially going to and from work. Facility is always clean, towels are provided, along with other shower needs. Joe's facility is awesome. It is clear that he spent a lot of time on how to maximize his space. I have been a member at a few boxes and visited others on travels and I can say without a doubt this facility is the nicest. It has a lot of conveniences for visitors, as well, which I think is a huge perk. No other gym that I know or has showers and towels included in the drop in rate. The coaches were superb. They were all interested in my performance and enhancement and when I wanted more coaching and sought it out, they uniformly responded positively and helped me improve my performance. Any time I'm in town visiting my parents, I try to stop in to The Strip Crossfit. Joe and his staff do such a great job! I always leave with a good sweat. I'm still pretty new to crossfit, so I appreciate the coaches attentiveness to doing the exercises correctly to avoid injuries. The box is clean - WITH A/C - a feature rarely seen in other crossfit boxes, but necessary here in Las Vegas, especially in the summer months. They also have showers and lockers! If you are in town for a conference but don't want to lose sight of your goals, I highly recommend coming to The Strip Crossfit!
